I cannot begin to say enough good things about my experiences with Kelly’s OBX catering in Nags Head NC. My son’s wedding in Nags Head was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid, yet they went ahead and got married in an intimate ceremony in their home town. They along with his brother and wife now have small infants and we did not think having a rehearsal dinner in a restaurant would make sense. Despite my last minute planning Mary Ann from Kelly’s squeezed us in for catering our rehearsal dinner at the Inn where we were all staying in Nags Head. Mary Ann was a pleasure to work with and went out of her way to help us with logistics and planning. The staff that set up the food the night of our dinner were so kind and helpful. The portions of food were generous. Everyone at our rehearsal dinner enjoyed their food. I received so many compliments on the Broiled Seafood, Fried Chicken and side dishes that accompanied the meal. One continuous statement from guests was the “Best Fried Chicken ever! “

Kelly’s catering was absolutely perfect! A company that could deliver and had the type of food I was looking for, for the wedding. And they were flexible when I had to change the venue last minute. Amazing Wedding Caterer!!!

We had the greatest experience with Kellys as our wedding caterers. The food was absolutely divine, multiple guests told me it was hands down the best food they'd ever been served at a wedding and I completely agreed! The beef shoulder was insanely good.. I am still dreaming of it!! Mary Ann was extremely helpful to us in choosing the perfect menu that fit our needs, giving us advice when we were unsure what would be best. They were always easy to get a hold of when we had questions, and then on the day they made sure that my husband and I were fed and had everything we needed during the reception. Then they cleaned and packed up everything so we could enjoy our leftovers; the place was left so clean it was like they were never there. I give them allll the stars, they were amazing and I highly recommend them!!! PRO TIP: get the sweet potato biscuits; our whole party was fighting over them for breakfast for the next 2 days until they were gone!

Absolutely Amazing

Kellys Outerbanks catering service is impeccable. They were so easy to work with, flexible on timing and the food was spectacular! We had a taco bar with apps and everything came out perfect. They listen to what we wanted and gave us multiple options to choose from when it came to what we wanted to eat, if we wanted service or just delivery, I absolutely recommend them to any of your catering needs and will 100% use them in the future for other events!

Definitely a 10/10!

Kelly’s was always responsive to any calls or emails I had. The food was absolutely delicious! There is not anything that wasn’t outstanding in taste. Guests at the wedding also told me how great the food was. The staff did an excellent job from setting up, to serving to cleaning up and taking down.

In one word, amazing.

I had the shrimp and grits, the tenderloin and the potatoes. They were all delicious. I was so busy talking and dancing I missed the rest but everyone said the apps were fabulous and that the entire menu was amazing. I wish I could do it all again just for the food. I knew when we had our tasting that we had made the right choice. Thank you so much!!

Excellent service, highly recommend

Kelly’s Catering went absolutely above and beyond for us. The food was truly incredible, everyone was raving about it, especially the shrimp and grits which I HIGHLY recommend. All of the staff members were excellent, they never let anyone go without a drink or food. The bartenders made the best drinks and were very hospitable. Tables stayed cleaned and clear; glasses, silverware, plating were all beautiful. Truly couldn’t be more happy with our experience especially in the midst of a tropical storm!

our wedding was May 2023. I am in the service industry and have seen a lot of caterers. Kellys Catering was incredible!! The planning was great, the food was excellent (so good we made sure to order extra for left overs) and the service was above expectations. Kellys was flexible with what we needed and wanted. Will definitely be recommending them to anyone needing catering service near the outer banks!

Best of the best in catering

Kelly's did a beautiful presentation for our wedding. The food and service was excellent during the entire event. The wait staff was attentive to all of our needs and requests. Working with Mary Ann was super important. She offered recommendations base upon her extensive experience in catering. Quite frankly Kelly's treated us like family. They are definitely the go to caterer in the OBX.

They did a wonderful job on relatively short notice. The food was excellent and the gentleman that brought it and set it up was friendly, kind and very attentive to detail. I would absolutely recommend them as we were 100% satisfied.

All around amazing

Kelly’s went above and beyond to make our day perfect! The food was delicious- best wedding food ever- comments by all guests. The catering staff, set up, bartenders, clean up, and the planning team were all kind, accommodating, and hard working. Each one made sure we were taken care of throughout the day and night. Wedding reception buffet dinner for 215

EVERYTHING was excellent. The food, the service, the attentiveness to our guests. The reception was 100% worry free for me , the mother of the bride. You would be crazy not to hire Kelly’s for your event.

Awesome vendor to work with.

We had ordered about 6-7 dishes from Kelly’s to be delivered to where we were staying. Food was delicious and on time. Prices were awesome for the amount of food we received. The fried chicken was amazing and so were the mashed potatoes.

Saved the day !!!

Kelly’s saved the wedding!! Imagine being 2 weeks away from your destination wedding and your caterer backs out. When I called Kelly’s, in a panic, to see if they could help us, their reply was “Don’t worry honey, we got you covered”!!! Kelly’s immediately jump into helping us plan the menu, the bar, and the flow of the event in the house we rented all in 24 hours. The contracts were signed, the deposit made, and BOOM, our worries were over. Their professionalism, warm and friendly staff, and delicious food, were the talk of the evening. We were very impressed to see the owner at the event, assuring us it will be perfect, and it was. I would recommend Kelly’s Catering to anyone that asks. A big thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping to making this the “Magical Moment” the bride and groom were hoping for.

Wonderful food and service from Kelly's for our wedding

Amazing Rehearsal Dinner - A Must Have!

We had Kelly's Catering delivered to our wedding house for the rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding - the food was amazing!!! We had everything from fried chicken, pulled pork (awesome sauces included on the side) to mac and cheese and the meat lasagna! It was all so good! Make sure you add in a few dozen of the sweet potato biscuits as well. The service was prompt, communication was great and the guests raved about the meal!

Kelly's was very helpful from start to finish. They responded to my initial inquiry within a day. Maryann helped us work through a good menu, and constant revisions very patiently. Then their staff of four showed up to our home right on time and just took care of every aspect throughout the evening going beyond what we expected. Would definitely use again.

I would recommend Kelly's catering to every person I know! From the beginning of the planning process, Mary Ann (point of contact) was communicative, responsive and helpful. During our reception, the Kelly's Catering employees were friendly, organized and well-mannered. I've had numerous guests from our wedding reception say it was the BEST wedding food they've ever had. Our menu consisted of the Blackened Mahi Mahi, Beef Tenderloin, mashed potatoes, risotto & roasted veggies. Our passed apps were also delicious! (Sweet potato ham biscuits, crab puffs, spinach balls & tomato pies.) 10/10 recommend Kelly's for your wedding reception!!

Repeating theme: very good food, great servers, flexible on menu items and ingredients .

My husband and I chose Kelly's catering for our Outer Banks wedding and it was absolutely wonderful in all possible ways. Our testing was wonderful and the staff was willing to meet every request we had. The day of the wedding the food was outstanding, our guests continue to rave about the dinner. We also could not have asked for better staff on site, so friendly and just great people in general. This was a wonderful experience.

Great Experience!

Mary Ann and the team at Kelly's were great to work with! Mary Ann was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us settle on our choices while staying within our budget. On our wedding day, the staff was so attentive, making sure to bring my husband and I appetizers and wine when we were done taking pictures. They made everything stress free, easy, and fun! Not to mention the food was delicious - we got lots of compliments on everything!

Amazing caterers

We used Kelly's to cater our wedding earlier this month. We were coming in from out of town so all arrangements were made via phone/email. That is always difficult, but Kelly's made it seamless! Everyone was pleasant, professional and just plain nice! Everyone at our wedding raved about the food! In fact, people are still talking about it! We wouldn't hesitate to have Kelly's cater regular meals the next time we vacation in the OBX. The whole experience using Kelly's as our wedding caterer way EXCEEDED our expectations! Kelly’s Catering was the perfect choice for our OBX wedding. The set up was beautiful and the food was delicious. Everyone was telling us how classy our poolside reception was. The ladies were professional, but also made us feel like King and Queen of the ball. I felt like a “ Dancing Queen “ all night. Rehearsal dinner catering

We decided to use Kelly’s catering for our rehearsal dinner in Nags Head and our guests raved about the food! Kelly's Catering is the best in OBX!

Kellys Outer Banks Catering helped us plan a Welcome Party the night before our son's wedding. We live out of state and were worried that planning this event from afar would be stressful but the very first time I spoke with Mary Ann (Mgr) I just knew I was in good hands. She was so helpful and knowledgeable about what would work and wouldn't work. She continued to assure me that everything was going to be just as we planned, you just knew they had done this many times before.
On the night of the event we literally had nothing to do, they were in complete control and everything turned out perfectly.
They were also very understanding and flexible with us having to change our event from 200+ people to 30 people due to Covid.
We would highly recommend them to anyone!

We used Kelly’s for our rehearsal and wedding at a home in Nags Head. For the rehearsal we just had the food dropped off. It was on time and still warm. Everyone was going back for seconds, especially on the banana pudding! For our wedding we chose full service, which was amazing! They sent 2 servers who made sure that everyone was well fed and taken care of throughout the meal. The food was incredible and everyone was more than excited to eat left overs the next day.

Amazing food and service!

Kelly's was awesome. Mary Ann worked with us to come up with the perfect menu for our rehearsal dinner and was super flexible with everything we asked for. The service was amazing as well, they delivered it to our house, set everything up, and provided instructions for how to keep things warm. The food was delicious and all of our guests loved it (especially the Mac and cheese!). Would definitely recommend them to others!

Kelly's catered our son's rehearsal dinner. They were an absolute pleasure to work with during Covid -19. So many things changed as we planned this wedding - date of wedding, location of rehearsal dinner, size of the wedding. Mary Ann at Kellys was always flexible and willing to work with us, meet with us and make suggestions. The servers were prompt, professional, courteous and friendly. They worked together as a team. The night of the rehearsal dinner they came in and set up, served and cleaned up like pros. No issues. No stress. Everything ran very smoothly. The food was delicious esp the shrimp and grits. In a word it was perfect. Would definitely use them again.

Kelly's was great!

Mary Ann at Kelly's Outerbanks catering was very helpful. Our wedding party was very small, but they accommodated us wonderfully. They allowed for a little different menu to accommodate my daughter vision and were priced very reasonable.

Great OBX Caterer!

We hired Kelly's Catering for 26 of us over a week's time in the Outer Banks - 3 dinners and 6 breakfasts. The food was outstanding. The service was prompt, professional and courteous. They knocked it out of the park and we'll certainly use them again next time!

Kelly's did a great job catering our wedding. They were extremely flexible when it came to picking the menu as there were so many great choices. I worked closely with MaryAnn who was very responsive (usually over email). Kelly's was accommodating with the tastings as we had two (one with myself and my husband and one with myself and my parents). Guests raved about the food. Kelly's did an amazing job catering our 9/13/2016 wedding. Mary Ann was very accommodating for us as we are from Ohio and had a destination wedding. I had two appointments with her, one about a year before the wedding and we were able to arrange a tasting meeting when my groom was with me a couple days before the wedding. This was so helpful in our finalizing the menu. The staff the day of the reception...I have no words. They did a superior job. Their professionalism was spectacular. They were so helpful in making sure everything went off without a hitch. We did not have a wedding planner so it was so reassuring knowing that we were in capable hands. My husband and I still to this day have guests commenting on how amazing the catering staff was! Cannot thank Kelly's staff enough!

Kelly's catered our August wedding and we were very pleased. From the appetizers, to the meal, to the dessert bar, everything was delicious. The service was superior and they were exceptionally attentive, organized, and friendly. They handled things a little differently than some of the other caterers I had spoken with- as the alcohol was per consumption rather than estimated ahead. This really cut way down on our bill and we were pleasantly surprised. I would strongly recommend them!

We have nothing but a glowing report about this vendor!! First, their dishes are value priced (in our scenario, less than $50 per person – 2016 prices)! They will work with your budget to provide an amazing spread of food with great variety. They will also put together a full tasting for the bride and groom-to-be well in advance of the event! Let us get your mouth watering. We chose a heavy hors d’oeuvres array to include: sweet potato ham biscuits, blue cheese stuffed mushrooms, grilled shrimp served with remoulade sauce, tuna seared rare with wasabi, soy, ginger and seaweed salad, hot crab dip w/pita points, chicken breast stuffed w/Ham and Swiss finish w/Dijon cream sauce, beef shoulder tenders served with bread, béarnaise and horseradish sauces, and grilled vegetables. Dishes were cooked fresh, on-site. Every dish was fabulous and our guests complimented the amazing menu throughout the evening! Kelly’s also provided tea, soft drinks, lemonade, water, plates, utensils, glassware and coffee in the $50 per person cost! Remember to plan for tips for the staff as that is not included in their charges. For a party our size (170 guests), plan on about 12 staff including manager, bartending staff, cooks and servers. The bartending cost was based on actual consumption. Our venue limited the alcohol to wine, champagne and beer and the resulting per-person cost was less than $15!

My husband and I used Kelly's catering for our wedding at Jennette's Pier June 11th 2016. Everyone is STILL talking about how amazing the food was!! They even sent a server out onto the beach with appetizers for us and the bridal party while we took photos! (Also brought us all a beer!) The servers took such good care of us and always made sure we had a drink in hand and full belly's! I highly recommended Kelly's, you won't regret it!

I was so happy and received so many compliments on the appetizers and dinner that Kelly's provided for our wedding. Mary Ann invited us in for a tasting prior to the wedding and suggested some items that I would not have picked just from seeing them on the menu. I was blown away by the taste and selection. We rented the loft area of Kelly's Restaurant and Tavern for our rehearsal dinner. We invited our entire guest list to join us for the evening and about 130 guests were able to come. Granted it was a tight squeeze, we had such an amazing night! Kelly's food was delicious and their staff were unbelievable that evening. Thank you all for everything!

My partner and I used Kelly's to cater our Nov. 2nd wedding at Jennette's Pier. When we began our catering search we had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted- Carolina BBQ, shrimp and grits, oysters, fried green tomatoes, etc. We sent our ideas to a few places and Kelly's was by far the most reasonable and was able to serve everything we wanted. We worked with Mary Ann, who was very responsive, efficient, and easy to work with through the planning process. The food was delicious at our tasting and was equally delicious at the wedding. Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. In addition to the fantastic food, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the whole night. They helped clear away the ceremony decor and chairs and even used some of the ceremony decorations to decorate the buffet and cake tables. Everything ran so smoothly. We highly recommend Kelly's to anyone considering an Outer Banks Wedding.

Besides my coordinator, Kelly's Restaurant and Tavern in Nags Head, NC was my favorite vendor! They did an excellent job with communicating and of course, the food was amazing. Kellys provided the catering for our OBX wedding on June 18th, 2013. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of food and service from the moment I met them. We worked with Mary Ann via email and went in to do a tasting a few months prior to the wedding. The food at the tasting was delicious and the service was great. Mary Ann was extremely knowledgable and immediately found ways to help me with our budget. I had a very specific type of food I was looking for (mini comfort foods) and Mary Ann helped me put the menu together and helped to create everything I was dreaming of (even the desserts). When the day of the wedding arrived, I was so happy with everything. The food was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the delicious mashed potato bar. And the service was outstanding. The staff went out of their way to make sure guests were full and happy and always had a drink in their hands. They also made sure my husband and I were eating as well (they made us plates throughout the night - which was so helpful since you forget to eat in the craziness). They even went out of their way to help guests take pictures with the polaroid camera at our makeshift photobooth! I was so happy with Kellys and cannot recommend them enough! Kelly's was awesome as our wedding caterer! We had the reception in Jennette's Pier and they made the event run smoothly. Everyone was fed quickly and no one went home hungry. Kellys catered our wedding at the Wild Horse home in Corolla and did a fantastic job. The food was amazing, especially the sweet potato biscuits, and the service was spot on. The service staff was professional and helpful in ensuring that everyone was happy. They provided tables and linens for appetizer tables, and sodas, teas, and lemonades were included in their bartender package even when you provide your own alcohol. Definitely would recommend.

– The food was delicious! I love those sweet potatoe rolls. We loved this caterer from the beginning when my husband and I made up a fun menu, and then sent it out for quotes. Kellys was the cheapest quote and included EVERYTHING from our desired menu! (nachos bar, potato bar, deviled eggs!) so weird wedding food I know but they did it and we were happy to have comfort food at the wedding. Black pelican was also an option but they wanted to charge much more and take off items from our purposed menu. Our budget was extremely low (we skipped out on photography and real flowers) and I never thought we could afford a cocktail hour/alcohol, but Kelly’s was awesome and gave us exactly what we wanted for really good price. Their staff were professional on wedding day. My MOH was in charge (my contact person day of) and she said the worker in charge that night was such a pleasure to work with. There was plenty of food, they sent us home with a lot of food! Brought out fresh beef tenderloin to us and then guests to the tables even though it was a buffet. Carried our plates for us and made sure our wine was constantly filled. We provided wine and beer and they provided the bar tender. We also had a wine ceremony during our ceremony and they made sure two bottles were opened for us and placed at the podium. They kept up with the wedding flow even though we were running late with our wedding itinerary and was winging when we would do the cake and such. I didn’t tell them when we were doing cake just told the dj and went for it, and as we finished they were rushing in with the plates to serve cake. The best thing about kellys is that they provided linens for all the tables. This includes all tables in all three areas of the aquarium that we used (gift table,cake table, favor table, cocktail tables, head table, everything…. ). The only thing I had to buy for tables were table skirts. All in all they were just awesome, easy to work with, and affordable.

Yes, one of my favorite vendors for sure. Mary Ann is such a professional and they are SO EASY to deal with. There’s no list of everything that they’re going to nickel and dime you for – they have plates and tablecloths and glasses so you don’t have to rent anything if you don’t want to (I bought tablecloths and napkins but used everything else). The food was also DELICIOUS with lots of leftovers (the BEST crab cakes that I’ve ever eaten – and I love crab cakes). Mary Ann was so attentive – bringing us our salads, appetizers, drinks to my parents – what a wonderful person to work with. My mom stopped her to thank her at one point because it was just that wonderful. We had a big get-together the next night and tried to finish off the leftovers. The tasting was even a great experience with so many leftovers and complimentary drinks. So happy that we chose them. Fantastic service and food.

I got married on May 12, 2012 and we had Kelly’s Cater our wedding. There whole staff that i had the pleasure of working with in the restaurant and while they were catering our wedding were phenomenal!!!! When my husband and I went down for our tasting we could not stop talking about how much it exceeded our expectations. The tasting session was above and beyond! Any questions or concerns i needed answers or suggestions that i needed Mary Ann was so Helpful making sure everything was just the way we wanted. On our Wedding day the staff that worked our wedding was AWESOME!! We love this group the food was amazing the staff was on top of everything and extremely professional. Kelly's Catering Service did a fantastic job at our daughter's wedding. Great food, and highly professional staff at the event. The catering manager was extremely helpful in the planning details. We were very impressed with their service, and the guests loved the food!

I researched so many caters for our wedding, and Kelly's had the best price. I didn't have to worry about renting other items for the dinner portion. Mary Ann, sent me other menu's from previous weddings so I could get a better idea of how I could plan the dinner, cocktail hour etc. I recommend their shrimp pasta and BBQ Thai, these two items were such a hit and guests went back for more, they couldn't get enough of it. My family goes to the other banks for summer vacation, and because of the great service and food, we plan on eating at their restaurant every chance we get.

Kellys Restaurant was delicious! We used them for our rehearsal dinner caterer and reception buffet dinner. The food was amazing and we got alot of remarks on how great the food tasted from our guests! They were easy to work with and very punctual with the food.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Kelly's. The staff was wonderful and helpful throughout the entire event. They spoiled us at the food tasting and worked with everything that we wanted to do for the reception. Guests STILL talk about how delicious the food was. Not only would I recommend this restaurant as a caterer for ANY event, but my husband and I have made it a tradition to travel several hours to this restaurant for our anniversary each year to eat. Their seafood is delicious and their sweet potato biscuits are exceptional!

WOW! is an understatement for their service, quality, and professionalism. I had heard wonderful things as I was planning my wedding, which is always reassuring. There is no comparing it to actually expreiencing it. We not only had their restaurant for our rehearsal dinner and guest meet and greet, wedding reception, but also, they came the following Monday and cooked even more delicious food for a family reunion at our beach house. Each experience was done wonderfully.

They were wonderful. The food was delicious. the service was exceptional. They were flexible when the photo session at another location took longer then expected. The staff was so friendly and they made sure that the groom and myself had beverages and anything else that we required. I would recommend anyone getting married on the Outer Banks to use Kellys. They even provide the liquor license.

Mary Ann with Kelly's was helpful with customizing a cocktail hour menu for us for our wedding and also provided our bartending services. The food was so good! So many people commented on how great the food was. As an NC native, I'm nervous to ever order BBQ, but the chef made some of the most delicious pulled chicken and pork (complete with NC style vinegar-based sauce) that I've ever had! It even made my Mississippi born and raised husband finally admit that NC is the south! Would recommend their catering services.

Great food and great service!

I grew up going to Kelly's on the Outer Banks, so when my fiancé and I postponed our larger wedding reception and decided instead to do a small ceremony at my parent's house in Southern Shores, I knew right away who I wanted to cater the dinner. I worked with Mary Ann on our menu, and appreciated that we got to choose items off of their set menu, as well as create some customized side dishes. We opted to have dinner simply dropped off at the house, but because it was a busy night for Kellys, we knew the food wouldn't arrive until after our ceremony was done. MaryAnn, however, was very helpful by scheduling for all of the chafing dishes and reheatable appetizers, etc. to be dropped off the day before, so that on the wedding night, the food arrived hot, and was simply dropped into the chafing dishes and ready to serve. Mike Kelly himself dropped off the food, and was an absolutely charming addition to the evening :) And, most importantly, the dinner was one of the best I've had in the Outer Banks in years!

Kelly's catered our wedding reception. They were professional from beginning to end. They helped us put together a menu to accommodate our many dietary requirements & desired dishes: GF, DF, V, some meat & potato dishes, some local cuisine, & our favorite pierogis shipped from Pittsburgh. Then the on site logistics were a challenge as we squeezed everything needed for a wedding into a rented house, but they cheerfully made it all work. From past experience with them, I knew that the food would be well prepared, but we were also pleased at how well beautifully they arranged everything - a very professional & efficient operation (thank you Vickie & team!) And the buffet table looked beautiful too. Many of our guests made a point of telling us how great they all were: helpful yes, but warm & friendly too. And the cleanup was superb. Kelly's was amazing! The food was outstanding and WAY more than we every could have asked for. My only complaint was in the beginning they didn't provide much information, as in they left it all very open ended for us to choose what we wanted on our menu. I will say, that if you wanted to use one if their "premade menus", you certainly have that option. So, choosing all of our menu options, became very overwhelming. However, at the end of the day, they do catered events ALL THE TIME. I didn't have to provide specific instructions and details; I could have. They knew what to do, either way. They showed up at our venue with absolutely everything they would need. It was perfect and worry free!

Mary Ann, the events coordinator at Kelly's, has apparently dealt with every type of crazy bride request there is. There was not a single thing I asked for that Mary Ann didn't personally guarantee and accommodate. We booked our rehearsal dinner AND reception at Kelly's and received rave reviews from our friends and families about how great the food was at both events. I would definitely choose Kelly's for quality, value, and service.

Kelly's food was AWESOME, and their price was very reasonable. They presented everything beautifully, and their service was excellent - I was never without wine! My only complaint was that the wait staff made my guests nervous about the weather closing the roads - Hurricane Bill came through the day of the wedding, and water was flooding the roads. I had been monitoring announcements from the DOT, so I knew the roads were not closed, but some guests left earlier and didn't enjoy the night as much because the wait staff kept talking about it.

Food and value for the food and service was totally impressive! Couldn't have asked for more flexible staff and service, and the guests raved about everything. It was so nice to know that everything would be handled, and even w/ that assurance we knew in the end we wouldn't be handed a huge bill.....their pricing is very competitive and again, we got great value for what we paid! Super professional staff and they took the time to label our leftovers, stock the fridge and made sure the entire night we were taken care of. Can't say enough great things!

We were thrilled with the food for our wedding reception! Everything came together so well & the catering staff was great. Mary Ann is the head of catering - she was easy to work with & very responsive to all questions and requests.

We had Kelly's cater our wedding reception on 9/18/09. We booked them 11 months in advance, which I would recommend as they book up fast. Kelly's catering manager helped us design a menu based on our preferences and our budget. We had our reception at a private rental beach house, and they had great recommendations on to how to set things up. They were very responsive and flexible as we changed our menu selections multiple times throughout the planning process.
On the day of the wedding, they showed up exactly when they said they would, about 3 hours before the wedding began and immediately set to work. We had the rented tables and chairs set up before they got there, but Kelly's did everything else from dressing the tables to decorating the buffet area with extra center piece materials we had available. The service during the cocktail hour and reception was fabulous. We felt so well taken care. All of our needs were met, but the staff never felt intrusive. At the end of the evening, Kelly's packed up the leftover food and stored it in the house�s refrigerator. We had great food for the next two days. The quality and quantity of the food was great. So many of the guests complimented on how much they enjoyed the food.

Excellent food

The food was excellent! Very flavorful and delicious! The email exchanges were a bit awkward and slightly unprofessional, could use a little help on that side (via email) just making things smoother, friendlier, etc. for people planning events. Overall would choose them again because the food was delicious :) Thank you!

Wedding Rehearsal Dinner

I had never tasted their food before and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Several people at the function asked about who catered the food. Their crab cakes are delicious!

Let me start by saying that the day of our wedding, the service provided by Kelly's was flawless, the waiters/waitresses were wonderful, the bartenders on point, and the food was beyond amazing!

However, it is a shame that such a wonderful day was preceded by some hassle. The wedding coordinator at Kelly's did not give us an updated invoice until a few days/1 week before the wedding, after having to email her several times. I am not sure if she is just not that good at email, but the majority of the emails that I received were very short and came off as somewhat rude when answering questions. She also had stated before hand that we would have navy napkins and then emailed to state that the linen service did not have them around 2 days before the wedding. Granted, navy napkins were the least of my worries 2 days before the wedding and a small thing to worry about, so I rolled with the punches. However, when setting up the pick up of linens, she placed them on their back dock after an exchange of short, somewhat rude emails. That being said, I have heard that she was going through some personal issues, which is understandable, but delegation is key when running a business. There is no reason why a company this large cannot have a 48-72 hour response time to emails, particularly when a person is spending 1/3 of their budget on your services. It is also around 2 weeks from the wedding and I have still not received an invoice, which is difficult when you are trying to balance a check book and figure expenses.

Kellys catering was a great choice for our reception. They were prompt and professional. They took a family recipe my husband wanted, and not only recreated it wonderfully, but also helped me build an entire menu around it. I would use them again.
