I wanted to plan my own wedding, and at first I didn't even think I needed a day-of-coordinator, but my venue required it (and thank goodness they did). So I searched online and found Katie @ Katie Hess Events. If you are reading this and you are like me and don't think you need a day of coordinator - you are wrong. You 100% need one, and Katie is the PERFECT choice! I truly believe that hiring Katie to be our coordinator was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. Katie was so responsive to all of my questions leading up the wedding day, but the day of your wedding is where she really shines.

She seamlessly coordinated with all of our vendors, she answered everyone's last minute questions, directed everyone where to go and where to set up, made sure everything was happening according to the timeline we had set up together, and probably 100 more things I don't even know about because she just made it happen. She also took care of setting up all of our decorations and did so beautifully. Somehow, she managed to do all of this and was still at my side in 2 seconds if I had a question or needed ANYTHING at all.

Our wedding day was 100% stress free, and we have Katie to thank for that. She goes above and beyond to solve any issue that comes up and makes sure it's handled before you even know about it.

A quick example: Our very young nephew was the ring bearer (and his parents were both in the wedding party), and he wouldn't settle just as I was about to walk down the aisle. My husband's father took him to the back of the venue to distract him - and Katie volunteered to entertain our nephew in the back so that my father-in-law could come back in and watch the ceremony. She has a young son and was SO good with him. I didn't even know any of this happened until the next day and I was/still am blown away by her kindness.

Katie was professional, kind, caring, fun, organized, and overall just a joy to work with. I honestly cannot recommend her enough. If you want a perfect, stress free wedding day - hire her right now.
