Book Kaitlyn right away! I don't say this lightly. I met Kaitlyn years and years ago at the very beginning of her photography career, and have had the pleasure of working with her in an array of settings. We became close collaborators and I hired her whenever I could. When she started shooting weddings exclusively, I knew that she would be my wedding photographer before I even met my husband, and was so excited for that day to finally come. We even picked our date and location with her availability in mind.

Kaitlyn is the kind of person who you would definitely invite to your wedding, regardless of whether she was photographing it. Her sunny presence is inspiring and uplifting, her fun, lighthearted nature puts everyone around her at ease. She is professional, reliable, and one of the absolutely most talented photographers I have ever met. If that isn't a reason to hire someone to photograph the most important day of your life, I don't know what is.

When Kaitlyn is photographing your wedding, you know that you, your partner, and all of your loved ones will look beautiful, that every important moment will be captured, and that all the little details will be taken care of. Kaitlyn is meticulous, experienced, and professional to her core. I am always amazed at how she keeps track of everything important all at once, and you can always 100% trust her to do so no matter what.

I could stay here and gush about Kaitlyn forever; think about how you'll feel knowing that there is someone who is loving, supportive, capable, and endlessly talented on the other end of the camera for all the most important moments on one of the the biggest days of your life, and you'll know right away that person should be Kaitlyn.

I don’t even know where to start with how amazing Kaitlyn is. She is truly so, so talented, she’s so passionate, and you can just tell she is an incredible person who cares about her couples. As soon as I saw Kaitlyn’s work, I knew we had to have her as part of our wedding day. We actually booked our date with our venue around Kaitlyn’s availability and we are so glad that we did. She was so helpful through the planning process- helping us with things like recommending timelines (even ceremony start time to ensure we got the perfect lighting for our photos). Not only is she the best photographer, we had a BLAST with her and Danielle, her second photographer. Kaitlyn helped us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, starting with our engagement shoot a little while back. She’s always laughing and it’s literally contagious. On our wedding day she made sure to capture photos with all of the important people we asked to have photos with- she made sure to grab us during the reception to make sure we got pics with the last few people we missed earlier on and we would have completely forgot if it wasn’t for Kaitlyn! I think the best part of having Kaitlyn as our photographer was getting about 80 teasers the very next morning! It was magical getting to relive our wedding day through our teasers- we haven’t received the rest of our photos yet, but I couldn’t wait to leave a review. The most talented artist and a gem of a human!!! Couldn’t imagine our wedding day without Kaitlyn and Danielle- they are seriously the best ever.
PS- shoutout to Danielle, Kaitlyn’s second photographer who literally buttoned my gown up in the morning because my mom and MOH were struggling and who helped bustle me. The BEST. I love these girls.

If you're reading this, then you probably already know how incredible of a photographer (and person) Kaitlyn Ferris is, but I'm going to tell you again anyway. Kaitlyn was the first vendor I reached out to when I began planning my wedding, and we picked our date around her availability. She was so attentive and accommodating to all of our emails and requests even after having to postpone our wedding TWICE. She's organized and prepared, and made the planning process so much easier on us. Fast forward to the day of our wedding... it rained.. A lot... And while we weren't able to have the beach ceremony we had planned for, Kaitlyn's photos made it appear as if the sun was shining on us the entire day. All of the pictures turned out STUNNING. They were beautifully edited to bring out the bright natural light, you would've thought it was the sunniest day ever (minus the umbrellas lol). I received so many compliments on our photos and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out, especially under the circumstances. To say she is talented would be an understatement - she is the GOAT. I could write a novel about how awesome Kaitlyn is, but I'll leave you with this: you can't pick the weather on your wedding day, but you can certainly pick your vendors, so choose people who bring the sunshine with them wherever they go, no matter the forecast - Kaitlyn is one of those people. And I am so thankful we were lucky enough to have her capture our day.
