The barn was beautiful and very easy to decorate and also take down.

What an incrediable venue and hidden gem in the Washington, DC metro area! I am so happy to have held both our ceremony and reception at Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum! The barn pavillion is just perfect! Rustic, timeless, classic and gorgeous! Be ready to DIY everything from set-up, tear down to clean-up, but if you're the couple who likes that sort of thing, or has a planner who is down for heavy lifting, this is such an amazing venue! The rental price is so affordable and it's really a wonderful blank canvas to decorate as little or as much as you like! There are outdoor options too, and you really feel as though you have this giant park all to yourselves! The venue itself has tables, benches, wine barrels and chairs for rent, so it's really a one stop shop if you want it to be. We used the picnic benches for the ceremony and the wine barrels for cocktail tables and a bar. It was just beautiful. I've never visitied the park and it not be gorgeous out! Michele was easy to work with and was able to convince Mother Nature to give us a beautiful 4th of July weekend with no humidity and slight breeze for the weddding! I'd recommend this venue to any couple who is looking for a rustic barn setting in the area. Loved it!

Jefferson Patterson Park was the perfect wedding venue for us. Michele Parlett, the coordinator at the park, was great to work with and very flexible. I couldn't be happier with how things went!
