Hannah and her team were OUTSTANDING!! Every step of the process Hannah went above and beyond and really made me feel important and my ideas heard. She was always there and willing to jump in to help with anything and ease my stress on the wedding day. She was extra prepared for whatever and super professional yet down to earth and approachable. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable and at ease when taking the photos which really helps make them look and feel very genuine and not stiff and posed. When it came time to delivering the finished gallery we were blown away at just how many STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS photos she had captured and how fast she did it! We couldn’t have been more pleased. She was such a tremendous blessing and we were so so grateful she was a part of our special day. If you are on the fence about what photographer to hire, don’t hesitate any longer, she is the best and you will not regret choosing her and her talents!

Hannah is an absolutely phenomenal person to work with! She and her second shooter (her partner, Anthony), were so fun while being a calming presence on our wedding day! They really get to know their couples and produce the best quality photos based on who we are and what we wanted to capture that day. Hannah does amazing work and is an incredible value as a wedding vendor. You cannot go wrong picking Hannah to work with you on your wedding!

Hannah and Anthony did a stellar job with a bridal portrait session, rehearsal dinner and our wedding day! We ended up with hundreds of beautiful photos. Hannah was always so prompt and helpful throughout the whole process of booking, planning, and ordering prints/albums.

We had the pleasure of working with Hannah and Anthony for our engagement shoot in Charlottesville, VA. Not only did she know the best spots for photos around the area but she timed it out perfectly so the sun was setting when we arrived to Raven's Roost, which made for stunning photographs! She also helped us include our new puppy in the session, which made for some adorable photos. We have her prints hanging up throughout our house and we can't get enough!

We loved having our engagement photos taken by Hannah and Anthony!! Hannah was very easy to work with and accommodated all of my requests! The photos she took were absolutely amazing and I could not be happier with them!! We will work with Hannah and Anthony in the future for sure!

I can't recommend working with Hannah enough. We booked her for our wedding and engagement shoots, and were so impressed with the quality and the look of the photos. Hannah is so level headed and organized, which helped so much switching gears mid-planning from the large wedding we had planned to the small family only ceremony we ended up having during the pandemic. I truly have only positive things to say about Hannah and Hannah Joy Photography. Hannah (and her wonderful second shooter, Anthony) shot my wedding in the spring of 2018. The photos were fabulous, and I could not be more pleased. She got them back to us within 4 days after our wedding- it was amazing! Not only are her photos fantastic, but she really made my wedding day the most special day. I had no idea I’d spend so much time with or depend on my photographer as much as I did, and Hannah CRUSHED it. She made sure our day went smoothly and perfectly, and that was such a blessing to me. It rained at our wedding, and she worked through those messy details without batting an eye (actually, I think she really enjoyed it). She stood on a ladder in the pouring rain to capture our family photos. Also, last thing, she shot my wedding on her birthday!!! What more could you ask for! 11/10 would recommend Hannah for your wedding. Seriously, she’s the best!

My fiance had Hannah photograph his proposal, which was a total surprise for me. Hannah was awesome, and caught the moment perfectly! We then took engagement pictures, and Hannah was great - knowing good locations, poses, and taking incredible candid shots. She gave us the pictures very quickly, and there were so many. We 100% recommend Hannah.

Hannah and her second-shooter, Anthony, shot my wedding photos and did an amazing job! They perfectly captured the feel and energy we were going for and I could not have asked for a better experience. She captured the little details and candid moments perfectly. They were so friendly and easy to work with and made us both feel comfortable even though we're not natural photo-takers. I would definitely recommend!

I hired Hannah as my wedding photographer in 2016, almost 2 years in advanced, for my Sept 2018 wedding and when my Husband and I finally got to meet Hannah for our engagement photo session in Sept 2017, we knew instantly that we wouldn't have wanted anyone else for this job. She matched our personality's perfectly and we knew that she was going to make our BIG day even more enjoyable. She was amazing start to finish and when she injured herself just weeks before our wedding, I did not spend a second stressing. I knew she had it handled. We could not be happier with Hannah, her fantastic second shooter and the third shooter she brought to help with her for the day since she was injured. We received TONS of pictures and there is not one that we did not like.

If I could have Hannah to photograph every big event for the rest of my life, I would without a doubt!
