From the bottom of our hearts, we adore Emily and are so thankful for her role during the most stressful of times: wedding planning and designing!

Emily's talent, care and dedication helped bring everything to life so beautifully, and we truly couldn't have asked for a better partner in this unforgettable experience. Emily and her team made us feel seen and taken care of during the process of and day of the wedding. 

There were plenty of external stressors leading up the wedding, but never did we have to worry about one single thing during this process with her. We looked forward to our zoom dates and catching up on not just wedding details, but life because Emily truly did become a friend. 

To anybody in the process of selecting a wedding coordinator: stop and go with Emily and the Jalie Team. It'll be the best decision you make before saying "I do." 

We just hosted our wedding a few weeks ago in South Lake Tahoe and couldn't be happier with Jalie Events as our our planner. Emily, who runs the business, is super professional and finds solutions to every problem. Booking with Jalie saved us tons of time - they handled all the logistics and vendor coordination leading up to the wedding itself, which just made our lives so much easier.

They are thorough and truly think of everything -- there were many times where Emily asked me a question and I realized it was something I hadn't thought about at all (even though I'd consider myself a very hands-on bride!). They have several detailed questionnaires that you fill out so they can map out all your logistical needs as well. In addition to the logistics of it all, they really care about getting the vibe right and making sure that our interests and values are front and center of the planning process.

The biggest benefit for me was having Emily create our day-of timeline. This was not something I would have done very well on my own, and she was there during the wedding day to make sure we stayed on schedule. She also provided timelines customized and provided for each vendor, so they knew where they needed to be and when, too.

Finally, Emily was so wonderful to work with. I always enjoyed our planning meetings and she was flexible with our schedules. She honestly didn't miss a beat. You cannot go wrong with Jalie Events for your wedding!

As someone who genuinely enjoys planning events and has known to be a bit of a “control freak”, I was hesitant to hire a wedding planner. All that changed when we hired Emily and her team at Jalie. Emily is responsive, prompt, patient, and thorough. She helps you make decisions, but will not force her opinions on you. She’s honest but supportive. Emily is a wealth of knowledge, especially in the Tahoe area. She helped me decide everything from our color pallet to décor esthetic. She took our budget for vendors and provided options for; floral, signage, MUA, photography, videography, transportation, etc. All the vendors she connected us with were superb!

Two weeks before the wedding our venue called to say that “due to Covid” they were no longer able to host us. (queue the meltdown) Emily immediately sprung into gear. Together, in 8 days, we replanned every detail at a new venue. Since I do not live locally, Emily became my eyes and ears. I truly do not know what we would have done without her! On the day of our wedding, Emily and team were there to make sure everything ran smoothly. I’m positive that there are lots of things she resolved that I don’t even know happened. In short, if you are considering a wedding coordinator, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Emily and Jalie events!

Emily and team were amazing! The wedding planning (all the way from North Carolina) was 2 years in the making due to covid, but Emily was so patient and professional in helping us and calming us down!!! She knows a lot of vendors and has great knowledge about Tahoe wedding, so she can introduce you to vendors with your desired budget and aesthetic. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful bc of her and her amazing team. If you are looking for a wedding planner (whether it be local/destination couple), LOOK NO FURTHER!!!!

Emily and her team were outstanding!! If you are contemplating hiring a coordinator - do it. You will not regret it. I felt absolutely no stress on my wedding day. Emily helped us through making some challenging decisions when our original wedding was affected by COVID restrictions. I'm honestly not sure what we would have done without her - her insight, opinions, experience, organization and easy personality made our wedding planning a piece of cake! We are forever grateful to Emily for making our wedding the best day of our lives!!

It was a pleasure and a benefit to work with Emily at Jalie Events for our recent wedding. Emily gave us needed direction. She was organized ad capable. She was creative in her solutions while bringing experience to the event. Besides that she has a helpful and pleasant manner. It was our lucky day to find Jalie Events and Emily. And No I am not her mom!!!

Emily was the best decision we could have ever made for our wedding! We had a destination wedding in Lake Tahoe at West Shore and Emily was my “go to” for everything we needed. We had all the stuff I ordered (which was a lot) shipped to her shop and her and her ladies brought everything on the wedding day. She even tied all my blankets with tags and ribbon, so cool! She was so creative with her ideas and would always email me back with suggestions/more ideas or just to tell me everything looks great! Very easy to speak with on the phone and always so happy! The day if she and her ladies were running around getting everything ready, so efficient too. She was so worth the price; our wedding would not have turned out the way it did if it weren’t for her. Everything was perfect; everything I could have dreamed of and more! If you are on the fence about getting a planner or you aren’t sure to pick, hands down recommend Emily and Jalie! You will be so glad you did!

Emily and her team were amazing. They helped us through out the entire process so that by the time the wedding came we had nothing to worry about. Due to high winds forecasted and cooler weather we needed to change the cocktail hour from the lawn to the reception patio. It happened so smoothly it was like it was planned in advance. I was actually happier we had it where we did because the views were amazing and it allowed some of the older guests to sit inside and not be cold. They worked tirelessly and a long day- we couldn't have done it without her and her team. I highly recommend using Jalie Event Planner for any party needs where you want quality, attention to detail and a stress free experience.

My now husband (!!) and I are so happy we went with Jalie for our wedding. We are two EXTREMELY busy people that were planning a destination wedding from afar...needless to say we couldn’t have done it with out Jalie (specifically Emily)! From picking out our venue to all of our vendors - Emily provided options specific to what we told her we were looking for and was involved from point A to point B in the decision making process. She handled all communications and kept us in the loop as needed. I can’t say enough how great it was, especially since we were long distance. Our wedding was executed perfectly and we are still getting comments on how beautiful and well put together everything was. If you want caring, responsive, fun gals to plan your wedding - Jalie is your planner! True experts in the industry.

Emily is amazing! She went above and beyond for my wedding and took charge with everything we needed and even things we didn't think of all with very little notice! She made everything stress free and was more than helpful. We could not have had better service and attention to detail. From arranging decor, to informing our guests of important details, to packing all our things up and having them ready to take home-the whole event was seamless! Thank you so much Emily for showing true professionalism and really helping making our wedding a success. We truly had THE BEST DAY EVER, thank you for being such an instrumental part of it :) YOU ROCK!
