For our multi-day wedding weekend, she handled all the logistics seamlessly, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the moment. We had the most amazing experience with Blue Sky Events and our planner, Lindsey Cawley. We were planning our wedding in California all the way from New York, so we were a little nervous of how everything would turn out, but Lindsey was incredibly organized, attentive, and on top of every single detail.

She made the entire process so smooth. We'd give an overview of what we were envisioning, and then she'd down select a few vendors that fit the picture for us to choose from.

When our wedding day finally came, we were able to actually enjoy it without worrying about what was happening behind the scenes.

Lindsey and her team are such a joy to work with and made what felt like an overwhelming task of planning a wedding incredibly easy and fun. Their process is professional, organized and straightforward - they guided us with all the things we didn't realize we needed when planning a wedding and thank god because it would've been a disaster without them. They are very familiar with Tahoe vendors and can provide options based on your budget. They have a lot of experience and successfully guide you through the planning process in addition to taking care of all of the details of the wedding day.

For the past year, we were connected to Lindsey at Blue Sky to help with planning our wedding. We chose the Essentials package since our venue did onsite catering and service. She was incredible. She helped us stay on top of our planning with a timeline and provided recommendations on vendors we needed to book not provided by our venue. I can't tell you the number of small details we would have overlooked if it weren't for her. The month before, I was able to hand over everything to her to pull together the final itinerary and do final vendor confirmations which made it MUCH more enjoyable going into our wedding weekend. The day of, she made everything feel effortless. You can tell she's been running these for 15+ years. The day after, the two things we heard most from our family was how good our wedding food was and how incredible Lindsey was.

Kerry and the Blue Sky Events team are nothing short of fantastic! From our very first conversation, Kerry was proactive, warm, and completely on top of every detail. She came to every planning conversation already one step ahead of us, anticipating questions before we even thought to ask them. Her vendor recommendations in the Lake Tahoe area were outstanding across the board, and her day-of timeline was so thorough and detailed that we felt completely at ease walking into our wedding day. We were also able to work with Lindsey on the day of the wedding, who may be the most prepared woman I have met! She helped fix so many things throughout the day - from my hair, to my mom’s dress, to my bussle - and helped keep everything in order. We cannot recommend Blue Sky Events highly enough!

Blue Sky Events, and particularly our AMAZING wedding planner, Lindsey Cawley, were simply the best to work with. Due to venue constraints, we had to pull off planning our wedding in 5 months. I wasn't sure it was possible, but Lindsey assured us that we could absolutely make it happen, as long as we got moving quickly. I've talked to a lot of friends who planned their own weddings without a planner, but I absolutely could not have imagined doing that, especially not around Lake Tahoe. Lindsey had a) the list of every single step and detail that needed to happen, b) direct, personal connections with all the best vendors around Tahoe, and c) years of knowledge about what to plan for, what to expect, and how to navigate the days leading up and the day of. The very best gift that Lindsey gave us was the peace of mind that every detail had been taken care of so that we could just be fully present and enjoy our wedding day. That was simply gold. Blue Sky does charge a fair amount and only offers one flat rate, so they may not work with every budget. If you do go with them, though, they will give you absolutely full service. Lindsey answered every single email and phone call and was always willing to hop on a meeting to chat (even when I went on and on and on....). She organized all our vendors for us and even called the county clerk about our marriage license questions. She truly was the expertise we needed to create a day that was perfectly detailed. She was also completely willing to work with us on the budget we wanted to work within (within reason). She offered us all possibilities on things we hadn't thought of, but whenever we said we didn't want something or wanted to cut down money on something, she was completely fine working with that and didn't pressure us at all to "do more" or get something "fancier" or anything. I felt completely comfortable saying exactly what we wanted and trusting that she would do her best to make that happen without judgement.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Lindsey throughout our entire wedding planning journey, and she truly helped us create our dream wedding. From the very beginning, she took the time to thoughtfully listen to us and understand our vision, ensuring every detail reflected who we are.

Lindsey is not only incredibly organized and professional, but she also handled countless details seamlessly behind the scenes so we could simply enjoy the day. Thanks to her expertise and relationships, we were connected with an amazing team of local vendors including our florist, cake designer, musicians, photographer, and videographer.

Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more, and we owe so much of that to Lindsey’s dedication, creativity, and care. We cannot recommend her highly enough.
