Carol officiated our wedding in June Lake, CA - not only was she a great public speaker, she was also very helpful in guiding us through crafting a ceremony. She provided us with a detailed ceremony script to start from and worked with us to make it a ceremony that reflected our relationship. We had several phone conversations with her so she could learn a bit more about us and we could talk through our vision for the ceremony. She was friendly and non-judgmental as we changed the script and took our many updates and changes (even the last-minute ones!) in stride.

In addition to her help in crafting the personal, short, and meaningful ceremony we were looking for, she was a great help just prior to the event itself. She made sure we got the paperwork we needed in advance and held it for us throughout the event so it didn’t get lost. She drove up a day early so she could help us rehearse the ceremony. Her professional, collected demeanor was a source of calm at the rehearsal- she used her experience from other weddings to make recommendations that ultimately made the whole event go more smoothly. She even took the initiative to write up the modifications we made to the ceremony at the rehearsal and print off a revised version to use the day of.

On our actual wedding day, she was organized and prepared, and everything went perfectly. Our band was not in town for the rehearsal, so Carol took notes and coordinated with them when they arrived. During the ceremony she was able to time everything just right to avoid awkward silences while ere performing the ceremony. She held printouts of our vows for us so we didn’t have to worry about having them on hand during the ceremony. Her voice projected very well even without a PA system and she was able to convey a dignified, joyous tone for the ceremony. Carol was instrumental in making our ceremony exactly what we were looking for and we would highly recommend her.

I contacted several different officiants before speaking with Carol. When I explained to them that it was a very small and simple ceremony, I never received a call back or any further information from any of them. When I called and talked to Carol, her voice alone on the phone, assured me and put me at ease. Carol was fabulous and very flexible. She is professional and a joy to be around. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

If you are looking for someone to officiate your wedding, look no further. Carol was absolutely amazing. She is easily reachable, and for someone who had to correspond almost completely by email, I was impressed by her prompt and thorough replies. Planning aside, on the actual day of the ceremony she arrived early and even took a few moments to build a rapport with myself, my new husband, and our family. She delivered a beautiful ceremony that was tailored to our likings, and was unfazed by the multiple interruptions from our very excited extended family we had Skyped in. She even stayed for a few moments after to take a few pictures for us and have a glass of sparkling cider to celebrate. I cannot sing enough praises for this woman who added a special touch to our already magical evening. Thank you so much Carol!

Carole was so great! She really helped us piece everything together, as we planned our whole wedding without a planner. She made everything fun and easy to follow, the whole wedding party loved her! She personalized our entire ceremony, it was everything we wanted and more!
