Stress free wedding day
I hired Marci for day of (month of) services since I had already hired all my vendors and figured out all my decor but was sooooo stressed that my now husband pleaded that I hire someone to at least do the big day. Because of Marci, I was able to fully let go the day of our wedding and know that everything would turn out just as beautiful as I pictured in my head. She did a perfect job of somehow understanding exactly what I imagined and executing it perfectly. One of the best decisions we made was choosing Marcella Camille Events. When starting off wedding planning, I knew it was important to get a planner on board early. I reached out to Marci on Wedding Wire (based on her great reviews) as well as a few other companies. Marci set up a time for a brief call to discuss our vision. At this point, I had already booked a few vendors (venue & photographer) but was still pretty early in the planning process. Marci was so easy to talk to and I know we clicked right away. Once booked, Marci quickly sent us a link to use AislePlanner and had set up a page for us. What an amazing site this was!! It was an extremely organized web platform that had areas for: Timeline/Schedule, Checklist (broken out by due date based on your wedding date), Budget, Notes, etc.
From day one, we could tell this was a great decision! Marci took the lead with looking into vendors that we hadn't quite figured out yet and sending us options/quotes that fit our Vision. Throughout the process, Marci always gave me peace of mind
Our first official "planning meeting" came when Marci came to our tasting with us at West Shore Café (our venue). She was extremely organized and took notes and asked questions that we hadn't quite thought of the whole time.
The next planning meeting was about 6-8 weeks ahead of the wedding (I think) and this is where we really did a deep dive into key outstanding items for the wedding. We did a video call where we ran through the checklist, timeline, and décor.
About a month before the wedding was our "final" planning meeting and we really nailed down the final details. Even when I felt behind, Marci put me at ease with being available and friendly! Marci handled the discussions with all vendors leading up to the wedding and put together an extremely detailed timeline for the weekend!
Now to wedding weekend! Marci handled the rehearsal like a true pro. She quickly and efficiently ran us through walking in/out and the logistics of day of in about 30 minutes or so. Following that, we had a quick décor meeting to run through all items that needed to be set up day of.
Day Of - I didn't worry about a single thing on day of. Every detail was done the exact way that I wanted it and the tables looked incredible! Marci and her team thought of everything - champagne where we were signing our marriage license, adjusting the timeline minorly to allow us to eat, being there every step of the way if wedding guests had any questions. The wedding ceremony started right on time and Marci made sure we were all lined up and ready to go!
I can't say enough great things about Marci and she is definitely the right decision if you want your wedding day to go off without a hitch!

I found Marci through WeddingWire and contacted her. She got back to me right away (which I appreciated because who wants to hire a planner that takes days to respond?). We ended up setting up a time to meet and go over her packages and what I envisioned for our wedding. We decided to go with the day of coordination since I had already put in a lot of work into the planning of the wedding. Day of coordination included a few meetings, day of coordination and open contact information for any help you might need. This was perfect for us!
Marci met with my husband and I for our first meeting at our rental company since I was having a difficult time really envisioning what I wanted. She made it easy to pick what we liked and offered many different perspectives to choose from that still went with our theme. Something I really loved about working with Marci is that she listens to what you want and helps you put that together. She doesn’t try to put her own touch on it, she wants it to be your own touch to truly showcase what you as a couple wanted for your big day. She helped to organize our rental order that way we knew what tables would be used for what, she knew the size of the linens to get, and she had insight on how many patio heaters we might need.
Our next meeting was a few weeks before our wedding to go over ceremony and decor details and to answer any other questions we had. Let me tell you, if you are on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator, do it purely for this reason. There is no way that we would have known all of the aspects of a ceremony on our own. That would have taken some serious time on google (which quite frankly as a bride you just don’t have time for that). Marci knows what she is talking about when it comes to organizing your ceremony. She took notes on all of the decor we plan we to have and where we wanted it to go that way she could have it set up correctly on our wedding day.
We had a final wedding planning meeting about a week before our wedding on Zoom. She had our aisle planner site up and we could see what she was adding to it. She really wanted to make sure all of our details were there and correct. This reassured me that everything would be great!
I really loved that throughout this process we had an aisle-planner site that we all had access to. It had so many helpful resources and it made keeping all of our wedding items in one place easy. It helped us stay on track with payment deadlines, budget, and all of the details of the wedding. As the day got closer she added vendors to it that way they could see our full time line and utilize that on the wedding day. This resource was amazing as a bride. The knot looks sort of useless compared to this.
We met for our rehearsal two days before the wedding and Marci had name tags written for everyone playing a part in our wedding. She facilitated the rehearsal in a way that made it easy for people to understand and then ran us through it a few times to make sure everyone understood what was happening. She knew the best ways to have our wedding party stand that way they looked their best, too. It was at this point that I was SUPER grateful for hiring Marci because I would have never wanted to run a rehearsal on my own. Let alone the wedding.
My wedding day was a dream and I have Marci and her assistant, Faith to thank for that. I had many things go wrong with my rental order, and at first that bothered me. But they both reminded me that this was my wedding, and all that mattered was that I was marrying the love of my life. They helped me feel beautiful, and validated all of the hard work I put into this wedding. They kept the night on track and made sure the other vendors were staying on track. After we left they helped make sure the rentals all got back on the truck and that everything was as it should be.
Marci always made herself available, validated my feelings as a stressed out bride, and offered to help with whatever I needed whether that was contacting hard to reach vendors or looking something up for me. Sure, your bridal party can help you with things, but they could have never done what Marci did. If you want a wedding day that makes you feel at ease, do yourself a favor and hire Marci. You won’t regret it- it will be your best decision!
