Dear Karie,

I don’t know where to even start.. I guess I can start by giving you a HUGE shoutout for being such and A-M-A-Z-I-N-G wedding planner!!!
I know destination weddings are the not easiest to tackle but you killed it! I’m so grateful for everything you have done to help us out and make sure we had that perfect wedding day!
I will say you have been there this whole year with me through thick and thin and having to bounce back and forth from California to Florida and vice versa.
I know it wasn’t easy for any of us, but we pulled through and at the end it became all worth it. I don’t know what I would have done without your guidance and help, you truly are the best at what you do!
As I tear up of how perfect the wedding turned out I can’t help but thank you enough!
I know we all said this was going to be a fall wedding and let’s be real, the lord above had other plans lol!
I never knew I would get to experience or have a winter wedding that actually snowed on wedding day and during the ceremony of all things! I still can’t believe it!
I literally felt like I was getting married in a snowglobe or in a hallmark movie, it was more than perfect!
I want to Thank you and Liz for sticking it through with me on my decision to get married during a snowstorm I know that wasn’t a easy task as well but all of you rocked it and I can thank you all enough!

There's no way we could have planned a destination wedding from the other side of the country without the help of Karie. She guided us through all of the decisions we needed to make, big and small. Karie gave us amazing recommendations for local vendors she trusted and saved us countless hours of exhausting time and research. She coordinated all the little details and logistics and ensured us that our wedding would flow without any hiccups! She's well known and well respected in her industry and there's a reason why! Nothing ever truly prepares you for the nightmare that is wedding planning. There are hundreds of thousands of details you never thought to think about. I have cried over what color forks to have with dinner, the monogram on dessert napkins, the spacing of chairs, you name it. No sane person can do it alone, let alone pull off the wedding they always envisioned.

That’s why you NEED Karie. She holds your hand through it all, from the first phone call until you are dancing back down that aisle and off on your honeymoon.

Karie first covers the basics: nailing down a venue, a theme and colors, and the necessary vendors such as food, drinks, flowers, cake, music, all of it. She listens to your needs, and has an extensive list of contacts to recommend vendors from, based on broad experience. She will contact vendors for you, or with you, depending on how hands-on you want to be. She takes care of coordinating all those vendors on the wedding day, which is a nearly impossible task. I did not have to lift a finger, and yet 10 different vendors all came together under Karie’s direction and set up a complex, yet beyond perfect, wedding environment. Coordinating vendors is the very last thing you EVER want to worry about on your wedding day, trust me. There is so much going on; you will not have time to think. Let Karie handle this for you, you are in the right hands with her.

Beyond the basics, Karie goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for you. My wedding vision was specific, and slightly outrageous. I wanted a specific arch I saw on pinterest, and Karie spent days hunting it down. I changed my mind about the arch, and Karie worked with our florist to create a 14 FOOT wall of flowers climbing up a pine tree. She went out to the venue and took tree measurements to make this happen. I still look at pictures of this flower tree every day – it was an actual masterpiece.

Finally, Karie was there for me during all the low moments of wedding planning. And trust me, there will be low moments, when you are just overwhelmed, burnt out, exhausted. When I wanted to quit and just run away and elope, Karie reigned me back in. She listened to my anxieties and proposed practical solutions. She kept a calm, positive, caring demeanor throughout the entire process. Even after the wedding, I called Karie for newlywed advice; she is just that awesome.

Overall, if you want to (a) turn your wedding fantasies into a real experience, (b) actually enjoy your wedding, and (c) not go crazy during the planning process, I highly highly recommend Karie as your planner. Hell, I want to throw another wedding so I can work with Karie again. Just do it, give her a call, you absolutely will not regret it. Karie rocks!

There is no way I can possibly express how amazing Karie and her She Said Yes team were. She was with us for 2 years while we postponed and planned an absolutely amazing event. She kept us calm when we postponed and got us excited when it was time to celebrate. She made sure our day was our idea of perfection. THE best decision we made through out the entire wedding planning process. There are literally no words to describe how amazing Karie is. I first reached out to She Said Yes winter of 2018 for a 2020 Tahoe wedding. I was in Montana finishing Grad school, my fiancé was stationed in Alaska and my family was in California. We started to plan our dream wedding with the most amazing vendor team, who Karie helped put to together. Then COVID happened. I honestly know I would not have been able to continue the planning process if I didn’t have Karie. Through multiple date changes, venue changes, etc Karie kept it all together. I have talked with her at least once a month for the last 3 years and she planned the most amazing day I could have ever imagined. We are so happy we chose She Said Yes Weddings to help us plan our wedding in Lake Tahoe. Karie is incredibly sweet and helped us stay on track the entire planning process. She was also so flexible with us and helped us through the hardships brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic. We appreciate all her advice, wedding expertise, and words of encouragement. Hiring Karie from She Said Yes was the best decision I made in our wedding planning process. Karie was there for us every step of the way, and was never more than a quick email or text away. Our monthly phone calls kept me on track with what my tasks were for the month and what was coming up. I always knew where I stood in my planning and was able to be prepared for what was next! Due to COVID and so many other surrounding circumstances beyond our control, my fiancé, me, and Karie went on an adventure which involved postponing our wedding from 2020 into 2021, and eventually having to cancel it altogether. While there were definitely some bumps in the road, none of these were related to Karie, in fact she made those bumps into a manageable and easy to understand hiccup. Karie fought for our wedding just as hard as we did, and although we ended up having to cancel our event, I have no doubt in my mind that had our wedding been able to proceed, Karie and her team would have been amazing, and would have made the event an unforgettable one.

If you are debating on whether or not to hire this thoughtful, kind, and talented women, trust me and do it. I wouldn't have been able to navigate the craziness without her!

Karie is a life savor!!!!!!! There is no way our special day would have been so stress-free without her. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone. I’m a very organized person so I didn’t think we would need a coordinator, but it allowed me to just show up and enjoy my special day without all the stress.

Karie and team were instrumental in our wedding planning. We literally changed our wedding plans every month (and significant changes, like venue, rentals, etc) , and Karie was so accommodating and flexible. My now husband was not quite sold on the idea of a wedding planner when we started planning our wedding over a year ago but now says it was the best decision. We had our venue close down due to the coronavirus and moved the wedding to the backyard and Karie was right there with us throughout it all! Even with a small guest list of 25 people there was still a ton of work to do and coordination with other vendors on the day of the wedding and instead of worrying about everything we just got to enjoy the day with friends and family. She went above and beyond and we could not have done it without her!
