There really aren't enough good things I can say about Melissa and her team at I Do...Weddings! Our wedding was absolutely perfect and Melissa went way beyond anything we could have ever expected. I knew that we had picked the right coordinator when very early in the process Melissa had a "delayed" response to an email I sent because she ended up having to step in as a florist for a client whose florist had backed out the day before the wedding and was up all night making sure there were flowers for the wedding!Sent on 02/25/2013
Throughout our year long process of planning that feeling only grew stronger! I knew I could count on Melissa to answer my million questions or be there with suggestions for an officiant or car company. I know that we challenged her with some of our crazy plans like having theUSC band perform but keeping it a secret from everyone and having to sneak them in the back! I knew that Melissa had everything was under control the day of and because of that I felt like all I needed to do was sit back and enjoy everything!
Our wedding was an absolute blast and turned out to be more than we ever imagined it could be and I am convinced that 99% of that was because of Melissa! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a coordinator for their wedding!

From our very first meeting, I knew she was the person for this very big and involved job. Melissa successfully managed 23 vendors and there was not a thing missed on our wedding day. She's responsive, thorough and a true pro. I never was concerned about a thing. Our guests continue to tell us things like, 'This is the best wedding I have been to and will ever go to.'
Melissa also packed up our personal belongings and even brought us flowers and plants the next morning. Oh.....to make sure I ate, she hand fed me some shrimp! It's really the little things that count.

It was a great experience working with Melissa and her crew. I hired Melissa for our wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum earlier in June of this year and I can't say enough good things about her.
At first, I was on the fence about hiring a planner at all, but I am glad I came to my senses. When I first spoke with Melissa, she was so knowledgeable and confident, I knew I had to have her as our wedding planner. Even though I loved wedding planning, it was nice knowing someone was always there for reassurance and guidance.
She helped communicate with my vendors ahead of time before our big day, managed all the logistics, helped hold so much of our wedding items and display them so nicely (i.e dessert table items, welcome table items, ceremony items, etc.).
She is so on top of everything and definitely knows what she is doing. She is super nice and easy to get a hold of via phone or email. We were even running late with our schedule because my husband's dad got lost and he had our flower "dog" with him, but things still turned out great =] I don't think our wedding would have turned out so nice without all the help from Melissa and her crew. Highly recommended! ^_^
The team of San Diego wedding planners at "I Do... Weddings" is absolutely fantastic! I've photographed multiple weddings and worked with all three coordinators (Melissa, Rachel, and Lindsay) and couldn't be more delighted with the experiences. They are very efficient, knowledgable, and calm under pressure. Best of all, they are extremely likable, and that is a big selling point for brides and grooms who want to be stress-free on their wedding day and want their guests to enjoy themselves to the fullest.
