How can you save money on a wedding dress?

Yes, a bride’s wedding dress will cost a lot of money—probably more than you’ll spend on another piece of attire in your life! However, there are several ways to save money on your wedding dress while still finding a gown that you absolutely love.

Don’t try on dresses that are over-budget: Be upfront with your bridal salon consultant about your budgets—and be sure ask about the cost of each dress you try on. Avoid the temptation of trying on a wedding dress that’s out of your price range.

I was getting married in Vegas. So why not go to a Pageant Gown shop? Ok so maybe it sounds off, but if you think about it, those Pageant Queens are gorgeous and stylish nowadays. If you want something not so typical and possibly make into a cocktail dress down the line... Or if you dispose bridal shops in general... Regalia is a supreme choice. Carry and David are fun, professional, friendly and honest about the dress flattering you or not. They are not on commission, and are the shop owners... Makes a huge difference. I found my dress the same day i walked in. My dress was exactly the perfect touch of Grace Kelly and Modern Glam. The price / fitting/ uniqueness are not as high as those corporate Bridal Boutiques. I could not recommend this shop enough! I'm telling everyone I can to go here to look for a dress! Everyone here is the sweetest, and the woman who assisted me, Penny, was a dream come true! I shopped with my family and friends and she had all of us laughing and super comfortable! Her dress recommendations were spot on, and she was super thorough in finding out what I wanted and what looked good on me. You get the whole place to yourself, and I got to try on like 10+ dresses in the hour and a half I was there and like half the dresses had a matching veil which was so nice and special. She also didn't show me anything out of my price range, which was greatly appreciated since some places try to have you fall in love with an expensive dress just to upsell you once you like it. Speaking of which, there were so many gorgeous gowns for under $2,500, which is all I looked at. I found 4 dresses I would have been more than happy to walk out with! Then she played the song I planned to walk down the aisle to, and changed the lights to show the dresses in different lighting which showed off details I hadn't even noticed, creating a really beautiful environment. Wedding planning can be such a hassle, and it was such a relief that not only was this not a pain, it's been the most enjoyable experience I've had so far!
