Larry from GoBo Entertainment took care of all of the sound and music needs at my husband’s and my vow renewal ceremony and reception. I had very specific music choices for each element of the celebration, and I was very happy that Larry played everything I wanted to hear. He even played back-to-back Bon Jovi songs during the dance party which made me ecstatic!!

Since hiring Gobo Entertainment Maurice (our wedding DJ) was always in constant contact with me (the bride) via emails, phone calls, and text messages. I wrote out our song list for Maurice and he made sure to play every single song on my list. He even double and triple checked everything was correct before the wedding. Unfortunately our AC went out at our indoors reception area and that’s where Maurice had all his equipment set up. 2-3 hours in to our reception, I could not take the heat anymore and asked Maurice if we could move his equipment and the party outside because we were all dying of heat. Maurice’s exact words were “Give me 30 minutes and I will have everything set up outside for you. Whatever is going to make you happy, I will do!” Like what DJ would move ALL of his heavy equipment to a whole other area just to make sure you’re satisfied and in the middle of our reception?! Maurice was truly the best. I could not have asked for better! All of my guest were sooo happy with his songs and his amazing, fun, spirit. I seriously cannot recommenced Global Entertainment (DJ Maurice) enough!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for delivering such an incredible memorable experience.

Wanted to give a shout out to Jim Spann, at GOBO Entertainment, for DJ services he provided at our wedding in Austin TX. 10 stars

One of the several reasons I liked Jim, on top of his great selection of music he provided:

Put in the Time - Jim came to the wedding site weeks prior to the event, to see what was needed, where he would set up, and review the necessary equipment and lighting. He was 100% prepared the day of the wedding.

Punctual - The day of the wedding he arrived well before his arrival time to get set up.

Knows his music – We provided some “required to play” music, and from that he pulled together music from the same genre, with a spattering of old classic tunes and pulled some songs on the fly. You don’t always know exactly what you want to hear, but when you hear it, you know that was EXACTLY what you wanted. Jim is professional, personable, "DJ dressed", and good energy……and he knows who the “the star is”…..US, the WEDDING COUPLE!!!! How many times have you been to an event, and the DJ thinks they are the star, with overbearing /over the top loud music.

Flexible: - We ended up having such a blast, we extended our time, and he was flexible in doing this. Anytime, I need DJ services, Jim is my go to person. Thank you so much Jim/Gobo Entertainment!!

Jim Spann was such a pleasure to work with! The online system to add music, wedding schedule, etc. was wonderful to have - even was able to let my maid of honor add on. And day of - he was awesome - couldn't have been better and played all our songs & kept the party going! So glad we had him there on our best day ever! You're crazy not to have them at your party or wedding!

DJ Reece was great! he had us dancing all night!, we even decided not to do the formal things bouquet and garter toss, to keep the party going, it was so fun for all of our guests!

On behalf of our organization, I can say that we had a wonderful experience with Jim Spann and would definitely hire him again! He was courteous, professional and did a great job catering to our organization's theme. Jim was able to keep our crowd engaged the entire evening, he even had the kids at our event doing the floss to Bollywood music, I cannot recommend him enough!

We booked our venue with The Hills of Lakeway which included our DJ and I'm so happy that they did because GOBO was perfect. Jim was responsive even though we did choose our ceremony and reception songs last minute. Larry was our DJ and he was the best. He was easy to work with, played all our requested songs and got many of our guests to dance. Thank you for helping us celebrate our wedding day.

Everything went completely smoothly on our wedding day and Marcellus was great. He was extremely flexible through the whole music selection process before the wedding and had a great feel for the environment on the night of and mixed it up really well. Would recommend him to anyone.

Jim @ Gobo was amazing!! I hired him in the month leading up to our wedding when I had to unexpectedly find another DJ. Having great music at our wedding was important to us and when we spoke on the phone Jim was extremely knowledgeable, up front, and super easy to work with. Not to mention affordable. Their online forms and database were easy to use and let us choose any particular music we wanted played during our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. One the day of he arrived early, was flexible, and worked easily with my wedding planner. Gobo's setup design was very clean and streamlined, no messy cables and it didn't take up a whole lot of space. He did a great job of listening to the crowd and keeping people dancing.
