DJ Larry rocks!

Larry from GoBo Entertainment took care of all of the sound and music needs at my husband’s and my vow renewal ceremony and reception. I had very specific music choices for each element of the celebration, and I was very happy that Larry played everything I wanted to hear. He even played back-to-back Bon Jovi songs during the dance party which made me ecstatic!!

Maurice is such an AMAZING DJ! I recommended him to anyone and everyone!

Since hiring Gobo Entertainment Maurice (our wedding DJ) was always in constant contact with me (the bride) via emails, phone calls, and text messages. I wrote out our song list for Maurice and he made sure to play every single song on my list. He even double and triple checked everything was correct before the wedding. Unfortunately our AC went out at our indoors reception area and that’s where Maurice had all his equipment set up. 2-3 hours in to our reception, I could not take the heat anymore and asked Maurice if we could move his equipment and the party outside because we were all dying of heat. Maurice’s exact words were “Give me 30 minutes and I will have everything set up outside for you. Whatever is going to make you happy, I will do!” Like what DJ would move ALL of his heavy equipment to a whole other area just to make sure you’re satisfied and in the middle of our reception?! Maurice was truly the best. I could not have asked for better! All of my guest were sooo happy with his songs and his amazing, fun, spirit. I seriously cannot recommenced Global Entertainment (DJ Maurice) enough!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for delivering such an incredible memorable experience.

Awesome job Jim at Gobo - You made the evening perfect

Wanted to give a shout out to Jim Spann, at GOBO Entertainment, for DJ services he provided at our wedding in Austin TX. 10 stars

One of the several reasons I liked Jim, on top of his great selection of music he provided:

Put in the Time - Jim came to the wedding site weeks prior to the event, to see what was needed, where he would set up, and review the necessary equipment and lighting. He was 100% prepared the day of the wedding.

Punctual - The day of the wedding he arrived well before his arrival time to get set up.

Knows his music – We provided some “required to play” music, and from that he pulled together music from the same genre, with a spattering of old classic tunes and pulled some songs on the fly. You don’t always know exactly what you want to hear, but when you hear it, you know that was EXACTLY what you wanted. Jim is professional, personable, "DJ dressed", and good energy……and he knows who the “the star is”…..US, the WEDDING COUPLE!!!! How many times have you been to an event, and the DJ thinks they are the star, with overbearing /over the top loud music.

Flexible: - We ended up having such a blast, we extended our time, and he was flexible in doing this. Anytime, I need DJ services, Jim is my go to person. Thank you so much Jim/Gobo Entertainment!!

Amazing music, customer service - so fun & great!

Jim Spann was such a pleasure to work with! The online system to add music, wedding schedule, etc. was wonderful to have - even was able to let my maid of honor add on. And day of - he was awesome - couldn't have been better and played all our songs & kept the party going! So glad we had him there on our best day ever! You're crazy not to have them at your party or wedding!

Awesome Latin night

DJ Reece was great! he had us dancing all night!, we even decided not to do the formal things bouquet and garter toss, to keep the party going, it was so fun for all of our guests!

On behalf of our organization, I can say that we had a wonderful experience with Jim Spann and would definitely hire him again! He was courteous, professional and did a great job catering to our organization's theme. Jim was able to keep our crowd engaged the entire evening, he even had the kids at our event doing the floss to Bollywood music, I cannot recommend him enough!

We booked our venue with The Hills of Lakeway which included our DJ and I'm so happy that they did because GOBO was perfect. Jim was responsive even though we did choose our ceremony and reception songs last minute. Larry was our DJ and he was the best. He was easy to work with, played all our requested songs and got many of our guests to dance. Thank you for helping us celebrate our wedding day.

Everything went completely smoothly on our wedding day and Marcellus was great. He was extremely flexible through the whole music selection process before the wedding and had a great feel for the environment on the night of and mixed it up really well. Would recommend him to anyone.

Jim @ Gobo was amazing!! I hired him in the month leading up to our wedding when I had to unexpectedly find another DJ. Having great music at our wedding was important to us and when we spoke on the phone Jim was extremely knowledgeable, up front, and super easy to work with. Not to mention affordable. Their online forms and database were easy to use and let us choose any particular music we wanted played during our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. One the day of he arrived early, was flexible, and worked easily with my wedding planner. Gobo's setup design was very clean and streamlined, no messy cables and it didn't take up a whole lot of space. He did a great job of listening to the crowd and keeping people dancing.

Thank you so much for helping make our whole wedding go off without a hitch and for making it SO fun!

Jim was so wonderful to work with during the planning process and also our wedding! He is well experienced and we could tell he really enjoys his work. He listened to our specific requests, and even played one of the songs back to us over the phone a couple of days before the wedding to make sure that he had the correct version, which was so appreciated! Overall it was a fantastic experience! Thanks so much for keeping our party bumpin'!

We had Marcellus and he was absolutely AMAZING! We had SO MUCH fun planning with him and all VERY last minute. My husband did NOT want to book a DJ because he wanted to save the money and do it all himself. After MUCH convincing we booked the month of our wedding and they got us in. Marcellus kept us all entertained and kept to our timeline. Thank you GoBo for such a great service!

DJ Mars was our DJ for our wedding. He was quick to return emails and phone calls and really worked with us to get exactly what we wanted for both the ceremony and the reception. He played great music and our dance floor was full almost the entire time! He was fun and was a real crowd pleaser! We would highly recommend him.

Jim was so easy going and flexible to work with. We made contact months before the wedding and he checked in periodically before the wedding. He made sure we heard our "must play" songs at the reception. He was so friendly with our guests and did a great job of getting our guests pumped up without commanding too much attention. We loved his personality and his attitude and he has an impressive library of music. I highly recommend Jim especially if you like Texas country--he has a huge library of music and is always looking to add more. Overall a great experience!

We loved Dax, our DJ through GOBO Entertainment! The GOBO website system was pretty easy to use - there were some problems with some fields populating correctly, but Dax and I were in contact pretty quickly to work out all of those details. The system made it super simple for our guests to request songs which I loved and really appreciated.

We wanted the first hour or so of our reception to be Christian music, and Dax downloaded a ton of songs that we requested - I know that Christian music is not a normal staple for DJs, and he handled our music requests with ease and no problems - I would definitely recommended GOBO, and especially Dax, for your wedding!

Marcellus Petty the DJ for our wedding. He was on top of thing before and after the wedding. He took care of everything from A-Z. He was on time and very professional! Marcellus was interactive and fun! I would recommend him and would use him again for any event I would need a DJ for. Amber was also very professional and on top of the photo booth. Again hands down to Marclus for all you did for use on our big day! Thank you

Marcellus was our DJ for a large Disco Party themed after Saturday Night Fever in Lakeway Tx. He brought great lighting, sound system, and enthusiasm. He even dressed the part. Our 180 guests had a great time. I would definitely recommend Marcellus to DJ a party again.

We worked with Jim Spann out of the San Antonio TX office to do a photo booth for our wedding. It was AMAZING! We had a subtle super hero theme for our wedding and he brought some super hero props, even a Spider-Man mask and Captain America shied! Everyone complimented us on what a fabulous idea the photo booth was, and what a great time they had. I would highly recommend Gobo and request Jim Spann, he's the best!!!!

Jim was AMAZING! The music for the ceremony went perfectly, the timing was perfect. The selection for the rest of the night was fantastic! He was so responsive to what the guests (and myself) wanted to hear and most importantly, dance to!
I am so lucky to have found this gem of a DJ!

Our DJ was great! DJ Mars!

He checked in with us twice the week before the wedding to hammer out details.
During the actual wedding he was extremely flexible. Did a great job with the music.

I was worried about people not dancing, but I kid you not... our dance floor was packed!!! It was such a blast!

We had a great experience with Jim as our wedding DJ. He was detail-oriented and very responsive, reassuring us and answering our questions throughout the planning process. The reception exceeded our expectations, due in large part to Jim keeping the flow throughout the evening and playing to the crowd when it was time to dance. He also handled our lighting and ceremony music at Vintage Villas, which turned out great. Several guests commented that they thought we had a great DJ. We would highly recommend Gobo to anyone!

Mark was an awesome DJ, kept things moving along at the reception and got the guests out of their seats and on the dance floor. He readily accommodated requests from guests and played music that appealed to multiple generations and musical tastes. Not only did he look and sound professional, he even color coordinated his shirt with the wedding colors! Thanks, Mark, for helping to make the reception one heck of a fun party!!

We had a BLAST at our wedding, thanks to Mark and Jennifer Truss!! Mark did an amazing job getting the crowd to the dance floor, and Jennifer helped everyone get dressed up in the photobooth. Our DJ Marcellus was fantastic! He called us during the week and the day before the wedding to check in with us and to see if there was anything we needed. If you want a fun reception with everyone dancing, you need to have Marcellus DJ for you! At the wedding, he played great dance music and was interactive with our guests. We would highly recommend him for any of your events.

As a mother of the bride, I just want to say you can't go wrong with Gobo Entertainment! Marcellus was professional, organized, and most of all, FUN! We received so many compliments on the wedding reception and we owe it all to Marcellus. Word is all the DJs at Gobo are excellent, but Marcellus was extra excellent--be sure to request the romantic last dance for the bride and groom---it was the highlight of their day!

Mark with Gobo was great! He kept our guests dancing all night and kept the night flowing. He was very flexible with some changes that happened that evening and made everything work out absolutely perfect!

Everyone at Gobo was so helpful and willing to help! Our DJ, Marcellus Petty, was exactly what we were hoping for! He made the party come alive and was awesome at getting all the different types of music we wanted into the mix. He got the wedding guest up on their feet and everyone had so much fun! Before the wedding, he was so flexible and easy to get a hold of; email, phone, and text! I would recommend Mars, Mark and all of the Gobo staff was so helpful! It rained all day before our ceremony and the only upset was the fact that the DJ had to be moved to a more covered area. The girl helping the DJ was so nice and amazing in getting everything set up and keeping me (the bride) calm and reassured me everything would be awesome. If there is any advice i can give... GO WITH GOBO!

Gobo entertainment was awesome we worked with Marcellus and he was great. They coordinated everything very well and ask plenty of questions to make sure our day was perfect . We picked out a lot of the music but I asked him to just play what the crowed was more into and it worked out great, he knew just the songs to get the fun rolling . We had a great time , thank you guys for everything is was more than we could have asked for.

Mark Truss, our DJ at Gobo Entertainment, was absolutely wonderful! He managed our event with the professionalism and experience we expected. He was wonderful to keep me, as the mother of the bride, posted on the timeline and keep us on track all evening long. He is so easy to work with, and such a likeable guy, that it was really a wonderful experience for us. We were able to complete all our requests in an online questionnaire so that there were no misunderstandings about our music requests. He met and exceeded all our expectations and handled our wedding and reception like the pro that he is!

Our DJ was Bryan Binder and he was fantastic!!! He went above and beyond for our wedding. I had no idea how to run a reception and he basically walked me through it and kept me on schedule for everything. He played exactly what I liked! Mark Truss was very punctual and professional. He set up the sound for our outdoor ceremony, and everything went perfectly. Mark from Gobo entertainment was our DJ and he did a great job! We picked a lot of specific songs to be played during dinner and dancing and he came through with all of our favorites. He was also very good about keeping in contact with us leading up to the big day and provided our ceremony music which went perfectly! Throughout the evening he was a good judge of how the party was flowing and picked up the pace when it was necessary to keep everyone having a great time! I'm really glad we chose Gobo entertainment for our wedding! Thanks Mark!

Marcellus was amazing! He was very helpful and patient with us and our last minute song choices, and the reception flowed very smoothly. He did exactly what we asked for and more! The uplighting he brought was perfect - he even customized it a little for me without me even asking him to. He was hilarious, kept the party going, and everyone had a great time. I cannot say enough good things about Gobo Entertainment-- my husband and I were so impressed with their professionalism and so happy with our entertainer DJ Marcellus! Everyone we spoke with at Gobo was wonderful-- they answered all of our questions and put my crazy bride mind at ease. DJ Marcellus reached out to us several times before the wedding to ensure that we had all of our music requests lined up. My husband and I had some very specific songs for the ceremony/reception, and Marcellus made sure he had everything just the way we wanted it. I t wasn't the actual wedding. It was my daughter's bridal shower. Mark Truss did the kareoke. He was awsome. we had such a good time, every one raved about him. I would recommend him to anyone. My daughter's wedding is August 4th this year and he is going to be the Dj. If he does the wedding like he did the shower, man it is going to be an awsome wedding. I am so glad that I hired him. Girls please listen, he is the best, you will not be dissappointed I promise you. I would rate him over 100%.

Our DJ was Mark of GOBO Entertainment, and he was absolutely fantastic! He made sure our reception ran smoothly and that we accomplished everything that we had planned during the event, and did everything with all the charm we could have hoped for (and none of the dreaded cheesiness that sometimes comes along with a wedding DJ). After the wedding, several of our guests commented on what an excellent job he had done; he chose music that was fun and got people on the dance floor, and he completely respected our wishes to keep it classy.

Also, GOBO offers really awesome online tools for planning your event and communicating with your DJ. They even have a tool for guests to request songs online, which was a lot of fun for some of our guests.

I would not hesitate to hire GOBO for another event, as they had a big hand in making our wedding a perfect memory!

DJ Julez did an awesome job at our wedding! She was super responsive and contacted me a couple weeks before the wedding. She was very flexible and could get any music we wanted even if it was not listed on the GoBo website. She played everything I requested and then trusted her to the rest. She played old and new songs whiched pleased all age groups. She did an absolulte awesome job keeping the crowd entertained and I danced my butt off! Being the bride, the music allowed me to be at ease and just have a great time. She made my wedding so much fun and everyone commented on how fun it was. Julez even got on the dance floor which I LOVED! It got me pumped up as well as others! I can not thank her enough for making my wedding sooo much fun! It was exactly what I wanted and better. We had DJ Mark from GOBO entertainment for our wedding at Laguna Gloria on Sept 30, 2011. He was the best wedding DJ ever, he went above and beyond just being a DJ. The planning website GOBO was excellent for choosing music and setting the timeline for the wedding. DJ Mark showed up with the wedding timeline in his hands and ran the entire reception from beginning to end. He was so easy to work and all the ladies thought he looked handsome too :) He did an awesome job announcing the bridal party for our entrance, very young and fun! He was even cracking a couple jokes while we were all goofing off on the dance floor. He always had an eye on me to see if I was happy, ready to cut the cake (and he even showed us how to cut our cake properly without it tumbling) or ready for dance music versus quiet music. During the first dance and father daughter, mother son dances, he kept an eye on me to see when I was ready to quiet the music to move on to the next dance, I hadnt really thought about it before but those dances can feel really long and usually you dont dance the whole song unless you want to, but instead of cutting it off when he felt like it, he watched me to see when I gave a nod to cut it which was perfect. Ive heard of people getting their dance cut short when they werent ready for it. I cannot rave enough about him, he made the entire wedding flow perfectly and on time without feeling any pressure to do something quicker. GOBOs contact person, Betty, was also so friendly, easy to get ahold of and easy to work with and kept up with all the plans leading up to the wedding. I highly recommend GOBO and DJ Mark!!!

GOBO provided the ceremony and reception music (and also lighting) for our wedding; Mark was our DJ - he's great! We didn't have much communication with GOBO during the planning of our wedding since our wedding venue coordinated with GOBO but as it got closer we did communicate via email and phone (they offered to meet in person if we preferred). Mark helped with the flow of the reception on the day of the wedding (i.e., cutting cake, first dance, etc). We recommend GOBO, and especailly Mark, to anyone!

You MUST hire GOBO Entertainment for your wedding..trust me, it will be the best decision you make while wedding planning.
We have all attended a wedding where the dreadful DJ ruins the mood of the party with cheesy and frankly terrible music selections. This is NOT the case with GOBO. This past weekend my wedding was in Austin (I'm from Ohio) and the owner, Mark Truss was the DJ. He is a true professional and Kept the party moving all night, all while remaining invisible.
Music junkies fret not. My husband and I are particular about our music and Mark respected our requests and suggested great party songs, too. He kept us involved and notified us of when the reception was concluding, asked us if there were any songs we'd like to close out the night with then also gave us a head's up that how he was going to conduct our last dance and send off. Seriously, Mark made the night enjoyable for all of our guests, even maintained a helpful smile when one of my relatives created an awkward request for a dollar dance (this was something my mother refused to have at the wedding). How did Mark handle this situation? He quietly pulled me aside and mentioned a couple guests requested a dollar dance and did I want to have one. When I told him I did not, he respected my decision and continued with the party. I loved it! Complete professional all the way.
Obviously, I was pleased with Mark but I have no complaints about Betty, either. She always responded promptly to my emails and calls and made planning a wedding from a distance easy as can be. Out of town brides, GOBO has a great website where you can upload endless obscure music selections and they also have an outline of the ceremony/reception for you to help with planning.
All of this at a reasonable price. Go GOBO or go home. I promise you will NOT be disappointed.

Mark was an amazing DJ. He made our night perfect. He was on top of everything from picking the perfect music based on our taste, to pinning flowers on the groomsmen, to pacing the entire night to run smoothly. I didn't have to worry about a thing! Gobo was very helpful and their website is very helpful in setting everything up. I can't say enough good things about these guys. They were AMAZING!!!!!!! Oh, and you won't find a better price!!

Marcellus was our DJ and Max was our videographer and both were great. Marcellus spent a great deal of time with us making sure we had everything we wanted. He was very professional and fun! Our guests agreed that the music was a hit! If you want a positive, upbeat DJ at your wedding that will get the crowd dancing you need Marcellus! There was a little mess up with our ceremony music but nothing too major and the guests really liked it. Thanks to GOBO Entertainment for being there for whatever we needed.

Bryan was our DJ and he was an absolute lifesaver. We had no idea what we wanted or when we wanted it done. He met with us about a month before the wedding and used his knowledge and expertise to help us plan out our big day. He listened to all of our crazy ideas and was very cool about telling what he could do, what he would try to do, and what wasn't possible all upfront. He made my big night special and awesome. We had Bryan DJ/KJ for our wedding on Saturday, March 12 and he was AMAZING!! The wedding took place at on my dad's property and was only about 75 guests, but almost every single one of them has told us that it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to, and I know that was mainly due to Bryan. From the moment the reception began, Bryan kept the party moving and made sure that all the big events actually took place (speeches, bouquet toss, garter toss, first dance, etc.) He kept the crowd entertained, and even surprised us with a very popular round of the Newlywed Game! The whole party was simply unbelievable. Thank you so much, Bryan!!!

Gobo Entertainment was Awesome!
Chris was the best DJ ever! The nice thing about Gobo Entertainment was that Chris was assigned to us weeks in advance so we could collaborate with him before the wedding. He really took time to ask what type of music Chad and I wanted prior to the wedding in plenty of advance. I had specific requests for songs and questions about the order of events and he met with me a couple of times. He gave us the Gobo website to find great and helpful options of songs for our wedding. He was very fun and had a really great personality, yet still remaining professional. He was very easy to work with and really got our sense of style for what kind of music we wanted. During the reception, he was very receptive to what kind of songs should be played to get people out on the dance floor. He had superb equipment, and he didn’t play the music too loud, and he played all the songs that Chad and I wanted. We had such a memorable wedding mostly in thanks to Granberry and Chris from Gobo Entertainment. I’m so happy that Granberry Hills suggested Gobo Entertainment and we were very blessed to have Chris as our DJ. As my dad said, “Flowers are nice, food is a must, if you get the wrong DJ you’re party is a bust.”

We had DJ Mike for our wedding reception and absolutely loved him, and so did our guests! He was punctual, professional and very vibrant. He certainly knew how to get the crowd going. We had people of all ages attend and I was worried that the dance floor would be empty. Thanks to Mike, it was full the entire night. He knew just want to play to keep the guests dancing. He played the right combination of music to make sure it was a night to remember. I totally recommend him and am certainly going to be using him for future events.

We also had Bryan from Gobo do the videography at our wedding. We decided to include it last minute and we couldn't have been happier. Bryan was so easy to work with that it was like he wasn't even there. He captured every moment of our wedding without being intrusive. He even dropped off our video once it was complete. We are very pleased with Gobo's responsiveness and professionalism.

Mark was our DJ and he did a great job for us, I'm so glad we hired him. He played just the right combination of music in just the right order, it was seamless and non-stop fun. One of my bridesmaids and I joked that we were tired and needed a break but the good songs just kept coming and we had to keep dancing. I wanted a great fun party, but a classy one, and Mark fit my wishes perfectly. I heard that he was perhaps not treated that well by the facility/event manager, but I never saw him be anything but professional and accomodating. As a result of issues that had nothing to do with Mark, I changed up the itinerary on him twice that night, rather abruptly, but he rolled with the punches and was great about it. I would recommend Gobo to anyone.

Gobo did an amazing job! They played all the music and games that we wanted and kept the guest dancing all night. The only thing they didn't do that we asked for was a romantic last dance. It was suppose to be just me and my husband with the staff and guests cleared out and they didn't announce that or do that at all so our last dance was with several guest dancing as well.

Bryan was our DJ for wedding- he was GREAT. We put together a huge list of "Play if Possible" songs and he totally put together a great cohesive playlist for our wedding. We had a mix of young friends and older family members, but we continue to get rave reviews from both groups about how awesome the music at our wedding was. Everyone loved the photobooth and the DJ did a great job keeping the energy on the dance floor up! I loved how he had a screen set up that was also playing some of the music videos to our party/dance songs, that was a really fun touch. Mark provided us with a fun and memorable ceremony and reception. The Gobo website makes it easy to setup and schedule your ceremony and/or reception. You can also request music ahead of time and even upload files with specific music of your choosing. We took advantage of the pricing on uplighting for our reception and it really made the room. Mark did such a great job working with our coordinator and handling the timeline with ease. We would HIGHLY recommend Mark and Gobo entertainment.

This company is fun! They have a great, extensive database of music that clients can select songs and build a song list from.

Jim Spann was our DJ. He is very helpful and was able to give suggestions on selections for portions of the wedding that I didn't know what songs to use. I pretty much let him choose dance music based on how our guests responded to his selections during the reception. We got so many compliments on how fun and varied the music was! Jim did a great job reading our crowd and mixing things up. :)

*****The wrong song was played during the first half of the bridal party procession and our first dance (bride and groom) song got abruptly cut off about 40 seconds too soon. (I know things happen, so I wasn't too upset about it.) That is my only negative feedback.*****

The DJ was great & this same service also provided a photo booth that was a big hit at the wedding. The DJ called regularly the week of the wedding and made some great recommendations for my ceremony music. He picked a song for me to walk down the aisle to that was perfect for my personality and the mood i was looking for on my special day. Their website was a little frustrating at times, but other than that - it was a great experience.

Very good experience with Gobo. My DJ made sure to quiet the construction workers working on the sidewalk right outside the venue. He checked with me several times to make sure everything was as I wanted. Only complaint is he played a few songs that were not on my playlist. Other than that, very good.

We were so overwhelmed with final details of our steampunk wedding we booked Gobo at the last minute. We gave sketchy music selections in advance. We met to discuss the final details the day of the wedding and they just smiled as if our lack of planning was no big deal at all. And it wasn't. From the requested acoustic guitar to working in my large personal music library, they never skipped a beat! Even downloaded my favorite song on the fly for a beautiful couples dace with our guests. Guests said they loved the music. The DJ and videographer even dressed in costume along with the guests and blended in perfectly. They kept our program on track and added a couple of ideas throughout the night that kept the party entertaining. The videographer was very unobtrusive and captured all our guests and the ceremony so naturally. As the bride I was cloistered away as the guests arrived and missed their reactions as they saw our newly rebuilt home and land for the first time since the fire. I was especially grateful to have that part of the day available to me. Outstanding professionalism. They made the party!

My DJ from GOBO was Marcellus. It was a little stressful not having any contact with my assigned DJ until about a week before the wedding, but in the end, Marcellus did a fantastic job! I would have liked to have had more "razzle" in my DJ show (lights, slideshow, etc.) but it was way out of my price range. But Marcellus did great, and out guests had a great time!

"We booked a DJ through GOBO for my daughter's wedding on May 30th and were thrilled. Adam and Crystal were able to go online and pick that they did or did not want played. It was super easy. Our DJ kept the party going until they had to practically throw us out of the reception hall! He played great music and even had some of the more obscure pieces that Bride and Groom wanted. (They had some really bazaar choices) Any questions or concerns we had were taken care right away and always in a warm and friendly manner. From start to finish we were happy with our choice and I know you will be too. Rest easy, you made the right choice!"

I'm unable to edit my first review. But I would like to say that this company values their customers and I respect that. The communications with this company is amazing. The only reason my review is not all fives is because I feel like the DJ did not connect well with the type of music that I have selected. I'm sure he tried his best but in all fairness it wasn't what I expected. I may have a high expectation for DJ's as I came from New York and I know we are in Texas. I just came to that understanding that that could have been the issue. All in all this is a respected company & nice DJ's. I would just recommend you meet your DJ first before the wedding. As I wish I did & maybe the music selection woul have been a connection.

The photo booth was amazing everyone loved it and were asking for contact info to get in touch in the future. The dj was ok. While he was very professional i think there was a moss communications in music genre. As far as spanish music goes I was told in Austin its mostly tejano music but i requested bachata and meringue and didnt get it. Also an excessive amount of "oldies" were played for my taste. Other than genre confusion the dj was very polite and professional and flexible.

There were a few bumps early on as there was a change of ownership. I was not receiving responses to my emails until I finally got in contact with Jim. He was very helpful in addressing my questions and issues with the website. We had Marcellus as our DJ and he did an excellent job. He arrived on time and setup audio for the ceremony and reception. People were dancing and having a great time. The only hiccup was we had microphone issues during the first reading.

They were very friendly to work with, although when I had some questions about the music and extending their service an hour I couldn't get a response. I emailed and called multiple times and didn't get a response until 2 weeks before my wedding. I was kind of frustrated but it all worked out. When we finally actually spoke over the phone he was very helpful. With the lack of responses I get an email the day before my wedding stating a have a balance due which was fine but I wasn't checking my emails the day of my wedding! So unfortunately, on the day of our wedding he came up to my new husband and I saying there was a balance we needed to take care of. Then he came over while we were eating dinner to tell us again. We were celebrating, didn't want to think about that nor carried a wallet with us on the night of our wedding. He adventually asked my Dad and it did get resolved but feel that the issue could of been resolved the following day. It just wasn't very professional or respectful to do "business" on the night of our wedding while we were talking with friends/family and trying to enjoy every moment. The lack of responsiveness and asking for payment of balance the night of wedding were my only issues I had. He was a fun DJ. Played most the music I requested and got the guests dancing! I loved that my husband and I got to dance a final dance together at the end of the night with no one else in the room. One of the best parts of the entire night!

Unfortunately, the DJ who represented GOBO at our wedding did a very poor job. Though I am in no way pleased with how our music turned out for our wedding, GOBO has bent over backwards to make up for the poor job the DJ did. Since our wedding, Mark (the owner of GOBO) has hosted my husband's Christmas party for free, and he did a fantastic job. So much so that his work wants GOBO back. Had Mark or another DJ done the original work, they would get all 5's. Fortunately for GOBO, our DJ is no longer employed there.

I must convey to you my complete and utter disappointment of the entire event, in regards to the music.
SOooooooooooo many things went wrong and all of the guests noticed it. Chris was unapologetic about the biggest mess up i have ever seen from a DJ. He did not have my song for my recessional and i stood up at the altar, in front of everyone for at least 4 minutes in silence. He fumbled through his Ipod looking for it...all the guests sat there for so long so they actually started whistling the song. He also played two songs completely wrong during the ceremony. I had to turn around and say "wrong song" for him to turn it off...There was no apology or acknowledgement of this in any shape or form....in fact, the only communication i had with Chris was when i was lining up to be announced into the reception...he very flippantly said..."Oh by they way, the wires fried my speakers so i only have one speaker and you will have no music inside." NONE of my guests inside heard any announcements....a lot of the favors were left, no one heard anything about anything....furthermore, he sounded like an auctioneer when he was announcing the bridal party...he was saying the names so fast, they couldn't have run fast enough to keep up with him. He also said a few names wrong...I could seriously go on and on. I am livid to be honest. So the ceremony music was completely ruined. The guests told me the cocktail hour music was not audible in the slightest bit...and frankly, the reception music was poor to dismal. Who plays Journey while the guests are eating???? That is a get up and dance song!!!!

Betty...you promised me so much in the beginning and we received a poor, bad job by the owner of this company. I am forced to give your company a bad review. I have copied Chris on this email...so hopefully i will receive a response or explanation for his behavior. His attitude was poor and I felt embarassed, and continue to be embarassed, at my choice of DJ. Isn't a DJ supposed to compand the audience and control the guests somewhat????????? There was NONE of that. He had his head in his laptop the entire time.
