We had the venue for our 25th anniversary and we were looking for a DJ that was going to be affordable but also had great reviews. Rodney fit the bill he arrived on time set up quickly played all the music we requested and when and he kept the dancing going. Everyone had a great time. He was very professional and courteous and we couldn’t be more pleased. Definitely recommend him for your event.

Our wedding was wrought with chaos in the days and weeks leading up to the event, constantly dealing with unexpected changes, unforeseen circumstances, and a plethora of events beyond our control that left us scrambling to respond and steer the ship back on course. The one constant among all that chaos was the DJ! DJ Kool Rod was an absolute pleasure to work with, and was solid as a rock from the moment we first spoke. No BS, no hidden fees, no unpleasant surprises, no problems whatsoever. From the moment he showed up, he was a team player and gave us the rundown on what he needed to get the job done. He showed up with all his equipment, including his own table, and the only thing he asked from us was a power outlet and room to get everything set up. DJ Kool Rod remained calm, professional, and courteous throughout the evening, and best of all he kept the volume at the perfect level, and knew to read the room and watch for cues from myself or others. The music wasn’t shaking the walls apart, but it was still clear and projecting throughout the space. When things didn’t go as we planned and had minor hiccups, he pivoted like a pro and STILL made it work. 10/10 experience and I will absolutely be hiring him again for any future events! THANK YOU!!!
