Madelyn could not have been any more incredible! I don't typically wear much makeup and was nervous about the amount of makeup on my face for my wedding day. I wanted to have beautiful makeup that day but also didn't want to not look like myself anymore since I usually don't wear very much! Madelyn listened to everything I wanted and couldn't have made me feel anymore beautiful and comfortable the day of my wedding! She had great suggestions and saw things in me that I didn't see myself! My bridesmaids also wanted a variety of styles and she was able to nail each and every one of them! All of us left SO happy!! Madelyn was encouraging, professional and truly made me feel like the most beautiful bride! I would 100% recommend her to any bride!!!

Amazing and kind makeup artist!

Hi! My name is Madelyn, the face of Glam by Mad. I am an on-site makeup/hair artist based in Asheville, but I travel all over North and South Carolina. I LOVE what I get to do, it feels surreal every time I think about my job. Growing up, I was a competitive dancer, and all of the girls would ask me to do their makeup. This fostered my love for makeup and all throughout highschool, I would get booked up for proms, homecomings, and special events. I never realized that my passion could turn into a career until it just happened one day. Suddenly, I found myself a lot busier than ever expected spending my weekends traveling to beautiful venues and getting to do what I love. When not working behind the chair, I am drinking A LOT of coffee, spending time with family, and of course… doing my own makeup! I can not wait to get to know you and hopefully be a part of your special day!
