Why Blo?
Our stylists and artists are truly experts. They don't spend time cutting or coloring: they do blow outs, styles, and custom updos all day every day at work. Our makeup artists are licensed, experienced professionals. We aren't contractors hiring staff for weekend weddings. Our staff work full time as stylists/makeup artists. At Blo we pride ourselves on the customer experience and your personal bridal concierge will be your contact, book all appointments and be there for you every step of the way. Open 7 days a week we also offer styling for your bridal parties, showers, portraits, and other occasions. We offer a broad range of bridal services from affordable to ultra luxury, with many a la carté upgrades to make your day as pampering as you wish.

Are your staff licensed and insured?
Many people refer to themselves as makeup artists or stylists, but in order to work legally as a professional makeup artist or hairstylist in NC an esthetician or cosmetology license is required. Licensing ensures thats stylists/artists have completed a full course of study with practical experience and understand important safety and sanitation techniques. All members of our bridal team are fully licensed and insured, and must be senior, highly experienced members of our staff in order to be promoted to bridal team work.

What brands do you use?
As a professional salon we use Unite Eurotherapy, ColorWow, and Olaplex products. Our professional makeup kits comprise of products chosen by our makeup artists, mainly luxury brands including NARS, bareMinerals, Stila, UOMA, and Mac. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive environment. We are experienced in all hair textures, and we carry foundations and shades for every skin color and tone.

How long does it take?
A blow out appointment is 45 minutes long, We allow more time for clients with highly textured hair. Custom updo looks require an hour. Bridal hair is allotted 75 minutes. Our makeup appointments are one hour each and include complimentary lashes and application. We allow 75 minutes for our bridal makeup. Our luxury makeup service includes another 30 min of spa quality skin prep.

How do I reserve my date?
We require a signed contract and a 50% non refundable deposit to secure your wedding date. Please reach out to us for your personalized quote and contract. Weddings are booked first come first served, and we book up very early for popular dates since we take a maximum of 2 brides per day.
