I do not think I can write a review worthy of the exceptional experience I had working with FTK on planning my wedding! I discovered her services through a childhood friend and after perusing her social media I just knew that she could deliver on my luxuriously dark elemental vision. FTK’s unparallel attention-to-detail and willingness to listen, reflect, and accommodate accompanied with her event planning expertise was evident from the very beginning. Every single meeting we had with her regardless of the presence of another vendor or not was thorough and informative and made me feel like we were a step closer to our goal. I am a person who could be considered a meticulous planner and I had so many fears going into wedding planning, but FTK extinguished my fears and helped me put my mind at ease with her organized timelines and trackers all the while letting me add to the agenda of our conversations so that my voice was heard. Patience is a key point when it comes to planning with me and FTK had patience for DAYS for which I am so grateful!
The FTK-Konnect Events brand prides itself on its experience and its connections and I can say I most definitely understand why! As I mentioned before my husband and I had a particular darker theme that we wanted our wedding to take on and while it was different from what FTK typically produces she gave it her all to exceed our expectations. She used her vast knowledge of the many elements you can use to distinguish your wedding from all others and worked with vendors (both those she previously worked with and new acquaintances) on how they can accomplish our vision. She championed every request that we had no matter how small they were and asked questions to make sure that the vendor was on the same page every step of the way. Her communication with each vendor was timely and comprehensive and we were looped in when it came time for decisions or to provide additional details for the vendor to work with. There were so many times when I would ask FTK a question about a vendor and she would already be ten steps ahead in that area.
Now I could wax poetry about her outstanding professionalism all day but let me steer the review toward FTK as a personable wedding planner. The way she made us feel like she was not just a vendor we were working with but someone who wanted to make sure we had the wedding of our absolute dreams and enjoyed our journey along the way. We laughed together, we vented together…I felt like I was wedding planning with a friend. FTK took it upon herself to go above and beyond in the kindest ways that showed that she cared and I couldn’t ask for a more personable experience. And her energy is reflected in her team: I only got to work in Wande and Kaisha in person for two days and by the end of my wedding day I had laughs to share with them as well!
Now I say all this to say: my wedding was PHENOMANAL! There were so many moving parts, so many vendors, so many personalized details…and FTK made it all come together seamlessly! She said that she would help us make our wedding the luxury event of our dreams and she did nothing less! It is almost three months later and my guests are still raving about our wedding! Every color, every texture, every individual placement, every little thing we worked on came together so beautifully. I almost wish I could have been a guest at my own wedding so that I could see everything from their eyes! Her day-of direction and facilitation made our day smooth as butter so know that she executes flawlessly in all stages of the wedding planning! Our wedding day was the perfect start to our forever and we could not thank FTK and Team enough for making it a day we will cherish in all our days.
