Our venue had a preferred list of coordinators that we had to choose from for our wedding so we went with Exceptional Events almost solely for the fact that she had a very basic day of package and she listed all of the services that came with it. For someone that’s never been in a wedding before it was hard to grasp what all a coordinator does, so it was nice to see it all laid out. I didn’t need a ton of help but definitely wanted someone there day of to keep everything under control. After speaking with Kaitlyn and getting an idea of our expectations of each other we decided to book with her. She was super organized, helpful and prompt whenever we had questions and was flexible with us regarding method of payment. Although Kaitlyn was handling everything up until the rehearsal, Allie was our day of coordinator. She was absolutely amazing. I seriously could not have asked for someone better. She kept the timeline on point, came to check on us multiple times throughout the day to make sure we were feeling good, she even helped me pick out and arrange the floral buds I got from my florist for the cake- that definitely was not in her job description! She was super easy going and fun but was able to switch that off and be assertive when family members weren’t paying attention to instructions. She made our day as easy as it could have been and we even got compliments from family members on how awesome Allie was. I would definitely (and already have) recommend Kaitlyn, Allie and Exceptional Events to anyone!

Guys - I will be the first to tell you I was a skeptic regarding day-of-coordinators. I didn't really see a point...and then my venue required one so I went looking. I saw the reviews of Exceptional Events, and of Kaitlyn Satterfield, and I knew she would be perfect. What she and her assistant, Julia, did for me that day is something I will never be able to say enough thanks for. They coordinated with all the vendors in terms of confirming details, she made a detailed timeline and thought of things I never would have been able to. She was kind, personable, and I could tell they both really just wanted to make this the best day of our lives - and boy did they! they kept us on time, helped us deal with tough weather decisions, and ultimately gave us a wedding day beyond my wildest dreams!! I would hire them again in a minute! Literally the best thing I did for our wedding.
