I can't rave about Rena and Luis enough! We clicked with Rena from our first phone call and we're so glad we stuck with her! We live in Washington but chose to get married in St. Pete where most of our family and friends live. We knew planning an out of state wedding would be stressful and a month of coordinator was a must. I will tell you they are worth their weight in gold! After a Covid postponement and our 2nd date being right after the Omicron wave, we had enough stress to deal with. Rena and Luis seriously are probably the only reason we made it through! They seriously kicked ass on our day, we had literally NOTHING go wrong logistically. They were also so sweet and accommodating through the whole experience. We felt like they were our friends by the end of it.

We were lucky to have Rena and her team help us plan the wedding of our dreams in 2019. I had spoken to a couple of planners prior but after our first consultation we knew we knew we wanted to work with Rena - she has an amazing ability to be thoughtful, organized and completely on it while making you feel calm, heard, and never rushed. Our day came together more beautifully than I ever could have imagined, went so smoothly, and the reception styling completely blew our socks off! Hiring Event Lab No. 1 was the best decision we made when we got engaged! Rena was an absolute pleasure to work with! Talk about AMAZING…. Seriously! She brought my dream wedding to life. We got married in Riviera Maya, Mexico just recently (April 12) and I was terrified of the challenges I would to face with attempting to plan a destination wedding.

I started working with Rena about a year before the wedding. She helped me so much… from picking the venue, going to the site visit, picking the photographer, ordering favors, invites, favor tag, communicating with the coordinator at the resort (which was a pain) … the list goes on! I am so thankful to Rena for everything she did to help us get ready for the big day! She was there for us every step of the way!

Rena has such a passion for what she does, and it really shows. Watching her work is so inspiring and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner! I wish I had something else to plan so I could hire her again! Haha She is hands down, the BEST! We HIGHLY recommend Event Lab!!

Honestly, we were a little lost at the beginning of the wedding planning process but deciding to work with them was the best decision we made. Luis and Rena were so great to work with. I would say we were lucky that everything went without a hitch but really I think it was because Luis was so great and made sure our wedding was perfect in every way. We couldn't thank them enough for helping us create such a special day for us and for our closest family and friends. We couldn't have done it without them.

Event Lab No.1 is for anyone who is planning an event who doesn't want to deal with the stress of the actual planning process. Rena and team allowed me to be as involved or not involved as I wanted to be in each step of planning. For example, in planning my wedding I wanted nothing to do with "paper". Event Lab No.1 stepped in and designed amazing invitations and a seating chart to DIE for! I will drop the mic here... not only did my wedding start on time but the WHOLE WEDDING PARTY was ready EARLY!!!

Rena was our wedding coordinator for our destination wedding in the Florida Keys and was AMAZING. From the first time we spoke, she had my vision down to a T. Both Ceremony & Reception were outdoors just feet away from the beach.
