I can't rave about Rena and Luis enough! We clicked with Rena from our first phone call and we're so glad we stuck with her! We live in Washington but chose to get married in St. Pete where most of our family and friends live. We knew planning an out of state wedding would be stressful and a month of coordinator was a must. I will tell you they are worth their weight in gold! After a Covid postponement and our 2nd date being right after the Omicron wave, we had enough stress to deal with. Rena and Luis seriously are probably the only reason we made it through! They seriously kicked ass on our day, we had literally NOTHING go wrong logistically. They were also so sweet and accommodating through the whole experience. We felt like they were our friends by the end of it.
I can't say enough good things! Hire them!!! -

We were lucky to have Rena and her team help us plan the wedding of our dreams in 2019. I had spoken to a couple of planners prior but after our first consultation we knew we knew we wanted to work with Rena - she has an amazing ability to be thoughtful, organized and completely on it while making you feel calm, heard, and never rushed. Our day came together more beautifully than I ever could have imagined, went so smoothly, and the reception styling completely blew our socks off! We had so many compliments and felt so taken care of. It allowed us to be totally in the moment have the most amazing time with our friends and family. I am so grateful for all of Event Lab's hard work and we absolutely loved working with them. Thank you!!! -

Hiring Event Lab No. 1 was the best decision we made when we got engaged! Rena was an absolute pleasure to work with! Talk about AMAZING…. Seriously! She brought my dream wedding to life. We got married in Riviera Maya, Mexico just recently (April 12) and I was terrified of the challenges I would to face with attempting to plan a destination wedding.
I started working with Rena about a year before the wedding. She helped me so much… from picking the venue, going to the site visit, picking the photographer, ordering favors, invites, favor tag, communicating with the coordinator at the resort (which was a pain) … the list goes on! I am so thankful to Rena for everything she did to help us get ready for the big day! She was there for us every step of the way!
Rena has such a passion for what she does, and it really shows. Watching her work is so inspiring and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner! I wish I had something else to plan so I could hire her again! Haha She is hands down, the BEST! We HIGHLY recommend Event Lab!! -

Event Lab No.1 is for anyone who is planning an event who doesn't want to deal with the stress of the actual planning process. Rena and team allowed me to be as involved or not involved as I wanted to be in each step of planning. For example, in planning my wedding I wanted nothing to do with "paper". Event Lab No.1 stepped in and designed amazing invitations and a seating chart to DIE for! I will drop the mic here... not only did my wedding start on time but the WHOLE WEDDING PARTY was ready EARLY!!! -

Hiring Event Lab was hands down the BEST decision we could have made once we got engaged. As soon as we met with Rena, we knew we were dealing with an absolute professional. She was there for us every step of the way, and paired us with the most incredible vendors to make our day perfect.
Rena was able to transform our inarticulate ramblings about our stylistic vision into the most beautiful day of our lives. I had zero stress on the wedding day, because I was confident that Rena had every little detail handled. She enabled me to truly relax (which is NOT easy for me!) and cherish each moment of the wedding weekend.
Our family and friends are STILL raving about how beautiful everything was - and we owe it all to Rena's expertise. Not only is she great at what she does, but she is a joy to be around. I miss planning with her already, and cannot wait to recommend her to everyone I know!

I am the owner & operator of Edifying Beats Entertainment (a mobile DJ service out of South Florida. We recently had the opportunity & pleasure to have worked with Rena for a wedding in Islamorada. Both Ceremony & Reception were outdoors just feet away from the beach. All of the decor was amazing & Rena was on top of every last detail from the moment we arrived to set up until we packed up the last of our equipment. We highly recommend Rena/Event Lab! -

Meredith Sent on 05/16/2018When choosing an event planner, we didn't know what to expect. Rena was able to help us take all of our ideas and turn it into a cohesive vision. She took the time to get to know me and my husband, ensuring that we both were able to take part in the planning process.
She is organized and transparent with constant updates, timelines and reminders. This made the whole planning process stress-free for our families and something we could actually enjoy doing together.
We never doubted that Rena had our best interest at heart. If something wasn't exactly perfect, Rena took it upon herself to do what she needed to do to fix it. She was also a voice of reason when we had different opinions and needed to make final decisions about flowers, decor, etc. I was also able to be creative with her and she helped me come up with less traditional twists like suspended florals or velvet linens.
During our wedding I didn't worry at all. Everything I was thinking, Rena had already done. Throughout this whole process she was always on her A-game (always a few steps ahead!), making her the best at what she does. It was an unbelievable feeling being able to just live in the moment the day of our wedding, rather than worrying if certain things were getting done.
Rena exceeded all of our expectations and was able to turn our vision into a reality. She helped us choose the best vendors and worked endlessly to make sure that we got everything that we wanted and we plan on using her again (and again, and again!) -
