We couldn’t have been any happier with the choice to work with Engaged Management. When we met with Tara for the 1st time we had our venue secured but felt absolutely clueless and overwhelmed about what to do next. We had met with a wedding vendor (who will remain nameless) who sent us into a panic about our timeline and what we still had left to plan. Then Tara entered the chat. She customized a contract for us that allowed us to have planning hours, day of coordination, access to her impressive excel spreadsheet and what seemed to be a never ending contact list. We went from feeling overwhelmed and lost to wow! We have so many options!

Her vendor recommendations were only the best and helped us shape the team that we lovingly refer to as “The Avendors.” Also, we cannot go any further in this review without shedding light on the incredibly talented Sheri. She was our lead planner the day of our wedding and let me tell you the calmness that washed over me when she stepped into the bridal suite the morning of the big day. She was there just to check in and see if I needed anything before heading over to the venue to make sure set up was done exactly the way we wanted it. This entire team DELIVERED! We had to make the call to move the ceremony inside and we weren’t in love with what our backdrop looked like. Not to fear, I told Sheri and by the time we arrived one of the Engaged Management team members had watched a video on drapery, that day, and transformed our ceremony backdrop into something better than I could have imagined. The rest of the day was so smooth and when our reception ended, within 45 minutes everything was taken down and loaded into the car. We know that wedding planning is a stressful time for all couples but when you work with Engaged Management you aren’t just getting wedding planners, you are getting peace of mind, support from experts in their field and simply the best. We could not recommend them enough! 10/10, no notes!

I could not be more grateful for everything Tara and her team did for me leading up to and a during my wedding! She handled all of my vendor coordination, including both the family transportation and guest transportation (had someone at the hotel to help!!). She ensured my decor was set up beyond what I had envisioned it to be. If something went wrong day-of, I still have no clue about it. She was incredibly kind, and super responsive whenever I reached out. She gave me peace of mind that I was on track with everything and wasn’t forgetting anything. Worked with Sheri for my September wedding and she was AMAZING. I kept telling her she was a life saver because I felt zero stress the months leading up to and especially the day of because of her. Tara and her team were absolutely amazing both in the weeks leading up to our wedding and on the day itself. They made everything run so smoothly, and if there were any hiccups, we never knew about them! Beyond being organized and efficient, they were also so kind and supportive throughout the whole process.

A perfect example: the morning of our wedding, my husband’s top tux button broke right before the ceremony. Within 10 minutes, Tara’s team had it sewn back on and the crisis was completely averted like nothing ever happened.

I am so glad that my daughter and I hired Tara of Engaged Events as our wedding planner, and I am especially happy that we went with the medium support package. Life happens, and we needed to rely on Tara a lot more than anticipated. There was a lot of behind the scenes discussions with the vendors so that I didn’t have to answer a lot of questions with “I don’t know yet.”

Tara would check in with my daughter and me regularly to go over our remaining to-do lists, helping us think of everything. And when I couldn’t find a source for table lamps, she had one that was perfect. She exuded professionalism and was patience as we fell behind on timelines, and she talked this Mother of the Bride off the ledge at least twice.

All of her hard work paid off the day of the wedding. If there were any hiccups, I never saw them and no one has told me. Usually one thing or another goes awry, and as long as everyone is still speaking at the end of the night, it becomes a funny memory. No such incidents occurred—I don’t think they would dare! My daughter and her husband had a perfect day, the guests were moved by the ceremony and refreshed by the fun of the reception. And I, the main hostess, was relaxed.

One final word about why I am so happy we chose Tara. She has seen so much, she was able to tell us the pros and cons of our options, what was in style and what was so passé my grandmother would be appalled. Free online articles, often written by compiling other free online articles, just aren’t reliable or are too vague to be useful.

She kept us on a good timeline, provided trusted recommendations for vendors we were still searching for, and helped us curate the perfect timeline for wedding week and the day of.

I know that there were probably a million challenges and tasks that came up, especially with getting married at our home instead of an established venue, and we never felt an ounce of stress.
