Facilities and Capacity
Couples can invite up to 160 guests to their wedding event or celebration at the Duportail House. They will find access to the first two floors of the farmhouse as well as the surrounding grounds. The first floor of the house features grand antique rooms for couples to transform and decorate into the dream setting they’ve always envisioned. They can enjoy the 18th-century ambiance of thick stone walls, wooden floors, original moldings and fireplaces, and an inviting front porch. There is also a tented patio that couples can make use of in the warmer months and heat in the cooler months. On the second floor of the house, the wedding suite and bath offers a private space for couples to get ready and relax before the big moment arrives. There is also a beautiful outdoor barn for couples to use for hosting a ceremony or a cocktail hour if they desire. The Federal Barn is a weathered wood and stone structure that adds charm and history to a couple’s special day.
This farmhouse, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, welcomes couples for their ceremony and an array of other milestone events. The venue offers a wedding planner to help couples with all the aspects of their wedding day. This allows the couple to focus on more pressing matters and fully enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience. They are welcome to work with outside vendors and even pets are allowed to partake in their special day or event.
