Let this be your sign if you are on the hunt for a wedding planner/coordinator to book an initial call with Tara and her team. We needed help planning our backyard farm wedding and when we were about five months out, we reached out to Tara. From the moment we started communicating, she put us at ease! She helped us think of all the things we might not have with her years of experience and passion for wedding planning. She kept us on a good timeline, provided trusted recommendations for vendors we were still searching for, and helped us curate the perfect timeline for wedding week and the day of.
On the wedding day, Tara and her team handled the event FLAWLESSLY! I know that there were probably a million challenges and tasks that came up, especially with getting married at our home instead of an established venue, and we never felt an ounce of stress. Tara is resourceful, prepared, and the exact person you want in charge of one of the most important days of your life.

She takes an idea and runs with it and provides options that will fit all budgets, big or small. The Smartest Wedding Move we Made!
Hiring Tara and her staff was the best thing we could have done for my daughter’s wedding day. Although the venue provided planners and coordinators for our event, they were no where near as helpful and reliable as Tara. Don’t be fooled thinking that is all you need.
When our very reputable and highly recommended venue was not ready, as promised the morning of the wedding, all I needed to do was call Tara and she took care of everything. She arrived bright and early with an unbelievable supply of everything we could possibly need that day. And believe me, we thought we had covered all our bases but still relied on her “ Mary Poppins” rolling bag for our last-minute emergencies. I can’t possibly list all the things she oversaw that day, but I can tell you it took an unbelievable burden off our shoulders and allowed us to simply relax and enjoy every moment of the day we worked all those months for.
In addition, Tara took care of so many preliminary wedding necessities before the big day. From checking in and establishing a rapport with all of our vendors to meeting and communicating with us throughout our whole planning process. She provided us with all the resources we needed to ensure that the day was perfect and free from any last minute worries.
We highly recommend Engaged Event Management!! Tara is worth her weight and gold! -

Beyond thankful
Tara and her team go above and beyond to make everything go seamlessly on your wedding day. We hired Tara for our wedding which was at a venue where we had to bring everything in. She coordinated with every single vendor (which was many!) to make the space what we envisioned. Her team put out the decor we brought including the many candles around the space, personal touches/ items, and our audio phone book. She also created our timeline, which we loved! She executed the coordination perfectly and allowed us to enjoy every second of our day. She even helped us out when we ran low on specific kinds of alcohol, running to our rescue, which I knew nothing about until the next day! Tara thought of every little detail and made sure the day went off exactly how we imagined. We are so grateful for her and everything she did to make our day so wonderful!! I highly recommend her!! -

Tara provided day of coordination and many helpful tips with planning my intimate wedding
I could not imagine my special day without Tara. She took care of everything. When our baker forget our cake topper she was right on top of resolution. I did not have to deal with a single issue on my own. Tara made sure I could enjoy myself and she knew so many helpful ways to make the day amazing. She made sure communication was clear before the special day so she knew exactly what we wanted. She never hesitated to make recommendations and she went above and beyond in all ways including helping my more Covid sensitive guests feel comfortable. She kept the entire day on track. She cares about what she does. She operates with professionalism and finesse. She doesn’t take center stage but rather makes sure the family all feel special and like part of the day. I would recommend her to anyone. -

Tara and her team are excellent!
We first met Tara 6 yrs back and she was the day of coordinator for my sister’s wedding reception and the experience was awesome.
I was so sure that we needed her that we picked the date of the wedding reception based on her availability.
Tara was incredibly helpful from the beginning stages of the wedding reception planning, and she provided recommendations for vendors we ended up using.
She was also incredible on the day of the wedding and kept everything running smoothly.
I got glowing feedback about her from my guests too.

We (my mom & I) contracted with Tara and her team for my brother's wedding reception. Noteworthy things about Tara aside from her approachability, warmth, & overall professionalism:
1. Tara has her own in-built processes to keep her & her team organized for your special day. We had some internal spreadsheets & in our meetings, I saw that she always formalized those in a way that would translate well to her and her team. This way, I felt that she had our day 'under control'.
2. She pointed out things that we didn't think about that ended up becoming important for our special day. For example: signature cocktail. We didn't think about that at all & we ended up implementing it, & it was a success.
3. She is very engaged with you prior to your big day, during, & afterward to close out any open items. So that gives you the feeling that she is proactive vs. you having to follow up with her.
4. Finally, she really makes you feel like she cares about the event vs. being very transactional in nature. I appreciated that as well.
Hiring Tara is not a 'nice-to-have', it is table-stakes if you want your event to be a success! Highly recommend! -

Seriously, hire Tara right now. Through me knowing zero about planning a wedding, a postponement, 2 + years and probably a million questions, our wedding was truly perfect thanks to Tara and her team. All throughout the process my bridal party thought Tara was going to be an extra bridesmaid because of how much I talked about her help. She answered every question with ease and professionalism and also made each meeting so much more comfortable (that red head charm ;) ) She handled the family drama- which normally would consume me with stress- on the day of with such ease which made me be able to perfectly relax and enjoy my day. She has literally everything in her day of bag- seriously everything. If anything went wrong on the day I still have no idea because she was in communication with everyone and handled everything. The photographers kept commenting on how great she was too! My husband cannot stop talking about what a fabulous job she and her team did of setting up our decor- beyond our imagination. Seriously, the best decision we made in this process. (round 3 so we don't have to say goodbye!? ;) ) -

One of our biggest wedding priorities was making sure we didn’t have to stress about the details on our wedding day. Because of this, one of the first things we did was hire Tara and her team as day/month of coordinator. Best decision ever. Tara was available throughout the process to assist with vendor recommendations or any other questions we had. She always responded promptly and gave us great ideas and insight.
The weeks/month leading up to the wedding was very calm and relaxed for us because we knew Tara was taking care of ensuring our vendors had the timelines and details they needed. It was truly a huge weight of our backs. It allowed us to enjoy time with our family from out or town the days leading up to the wedding.
And the day of? Wow. Flawless. Truly flawless. Everything went off perfectly without a single hitch (well none that I was aware of!!). We had such a special day and I’m so grateful that we had the opportunity to soak it all in without stressing over the details.

The best Wedding Day Idea I had was to hire Tara
After pouring through a lot of planner websites, reading vanilla profiles of team members and browsing hundreds of photos, I was worried I wasn't going to find a planner that would be open to my vision or truly 'get me' and have my back along the way. Well, as soon as I came across Tara, I knew she was the right person. Call it intuition, or more likely, her impeccable listening skills and air of tranquility during our first call. Considering I came to her with an idea of 3 venues, one in which was a moving SEPTA train, two bands, maybe a parade with stilt walkers and fire breathers, most planners would have laughed (not with Tara's infectious laugh but the kind heard on the movie Pretty Woman when she's shopping on Rodeo Drive) and referred me to someone else. Not Tara. In her calming, confident way, she was just like, "sounds fun, can't wait and here are some things we should think about as we finalize your ideas".
Tara was easy to get in touch with throughout the planning, more organized and detailed than I could ever dream of being and the pinnacle of serenity (even on the day of with an impending rain cloud and last minute plan changes).
When it came to vendors, she helped me pick my florist - Gail at Stem's End, who is the most talented artist/florist I've ever worked with - and my makeup artist - Radiance by Ry, who made me feel like exquisite both with my trial and on the day of. I share this, too, because I believe both women are a reflection of Tara and her amazingness.
Stop reading vanilla descriptions of team members that don't sound like you, and choose the rockstar team of Engaged Event Management. It'll be the best decision you will make since you said 'yes'. -

Although we had help from our families planning our wedding from out of state, our wedding would not have happened without Tara. We thought we hired a "day of" coordinator but got so much more - Tara was incredibly helpful even months before the wedding. We did not have strong opinions about many of the finer details, and Tara guided us through the entire process and offered a ton of great advice and suggestions. Tara was amazingly organized and made the entire process so easy. We chose to have a friend officiate, and Tara made sure that we had all of the information we needed to make that stress-free. On the day of the wedding, we did not have to worry about a single thing, and were able to just enjoy ourselves. -

Our venue recommended we hire Tara/Engaged Event Management for our wedding. I was apprehensive at first. We were having a small, 30-person wedding and I considered myself to be a very organized person. I didn't think we would need a coordinator or that it would be worth incorporating into our budget. Boy, was I wrong!
Tara was amazing! When it comes to wedding planning, you don't know what you don't know — and Tara knows all of it! During my entire planning process and through our wedding day, Tara was there to answer any and all questions I had. She was a great sounding board for ideas and made sure requests I had for our big day were heard. She also was sure to point out all the little details that I didn't even know to consider or plan for.
The day of our wedding, she was on top of everything. I even had a guests tell me afterwards how great they thought she was — one of which was in the process of planning their own wedding with another coordinator.
Aside from having a bride/groom to marry, Tara was the most important thing for our wedding! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! -

Beyond. Words are not enough.
Words cannot truly express how amazing Tara and her team are. We had to cut ties with our previous planner because of issues, so I reached out to Tara four months before our wedding and she made it work with her busy, busy schedule (back to back weddings, rehearsals, storms flooding venues of her other clients, you know, not so stressful stuff). From the start, she made us feel comfortable, excited, eased our stress and anxiousness. She is responsive, organized and honestly a life savior. Tara and her team made my bridal party, family, friends, vendors, basically, everyone involved feel at ease, which allowed us to enjoy our wedding. As I stated previously, words are not enough and I get so emotional reflecting on this entire process and I am so happy Tara and her team were there by our side. Thank you so much for everything. Honestly the best day of our lives. -

Engaged Management did an amazing job as my Day Of coordinator help! Tara and Kim were awesome from the planning stage all through the day of the wedding, answering all of my questions and bringing up things I hadn't even thought about. The day of my wedding ended up being a bit chaotic due to bad weather and some mishaps, but Kim was there to make sure I stayed calm and helped to handle any issues. I am so happy we decided to hire them for our big day! -

I met Tara a few years ago before I was engaged and said to myself, “when you are planning your wedding one day that is YOUR person!” Tara was my person from start to finish. Tara answered all of my questions, took care of all of my quirks and was just a calming force in my world of crazy. You see, I also plan other couples’ weddings for a living, and I needed someone who could take my vision and make it come to life. Tara did all of that and much more.
With Engaged Event Management running my day I was beyond calm and confident in Tara and the entire team. I felt like I could relax, turn my brain off and just really soak in the entire day. That’s a true testament coming from me because I am TYPE A to the fullest. The day of the wedding you would have thought Tara was a part of my family! Fitting right in and making sure all were taken care of. Everyone complimented Tara, Rachel and the other Tara on how lovely and attentive they all were.
If I could provide Tara and her team a million stars I would. Our wedding day was nothing short of spectacular and a huge part of that was due to Engaged Event Management!

My now-husband and I hired Tara as our day-of-coordinator for our wedding. Even though her title was "Day-of-coordinator," she did so much more than just on the day of our wedding! Not only did she help set up and take-down our decor (which looked amazing thanks to her and her assistant, Rachel, and they made sure it got all got packed back up safely), she also helped with vendor recommendations, our timeline, coordinating with all of our vendors leading up to our day, providing recommendations on decor, and so so much more.
Tara's attention to detail was phenomenal with her asking questions (from her huge and extremely helpful list) that we haven't even thought about yet. She was extremely pleasant and helpful to work with and we are so pleased we had her by our side on our big day! While my husband and I had ideas of how everything should be set-up, Tara made it come to life and truly helped us out with anything we asked on the day of our wedding (even bringing drinks when she saw us empty-handed)!
She was so accommodating and helpful throughout the night. She brought us a tray of our hors d'oeuvres since we were walking around mingling during the cocktail hour. Also her amazing emergency suitcase assisted not just us, but even our guests! She also worked to adjust her event management to our style. She was so flexible and asked if we wanted to confirm every detail with her or if it was okay to for her to have free rein over certain details, depending on what worked best for us, which we truly appreciated! We have no complaints about our wedding and were blown away by how fantastic everything went, all thanks to the Engaged Management Team. Thank you again for everything! -

Tara was the most pleasant person to work with during such a stressful time. I was not a typical bride that had been planning her wedding since childhood. The thought of planning a wedding was very overwhelming, I had no clue where to start. So once Tara was recommended to me, I immediately reached out. It was the best decision I made throughout my wedding planning process. She kept me organized and on track throughout our 10 month engagement. Working with Tara was the best decision Shane and I made. Her team came highly recommended by Manayunk Brewery. Tara made the time to be on calls with vendors, ensuring all details were ironed out, which was so helpful because she asked the questions we had no idea to ask. Hands down hiring having Tara for our wedding made the experience 100x easier and allowed for everyone to have an amazing wedding experience. Our wedding weekend 100% stress free because of Tara and her team.
