We highly recommend hiring Empire State Events for your wedding. Not only was the whole team receptive, professional, and attentive (Thaddeus, Kyle, and Wyatt) but we were able to completely customize our event from the enhancements down to what song to play when. We are still receiving compliments from our guests! 5 stars all around.

When we got engaged, the first vendor we booked was Wyatt with Empire State Events as our DJ. Wyatt DJ’d at our brother and sister in law’s wedding and was phenomenal so the choice was an easy one for us.
Wyatt took multiple calls with us to ensure we were all on the same page regarding ceremony music, cocktail hour vibes, dinner music vibes and reception vibes. He listened to all our thoughts and was 100% on the same page with us.
Not only that, he was able to pull off the ultimate surprise for me when my bridesmaids and mom approached my now husband about doing a surprise performance to Super Trooper during our reception. My husband reached out to him separately to ask if he could add it to the song list but please not to let me know and somehow, they pulled it off.
Wyatt kept the energy levels up, our guests engaged and us enjoying the happiest day of our lives. He was a true pleasure to work with and honestly I wish everyone we know would book him as their DJ from now on just so we can hang out with him!

I had the wonderful experience of having Empire State Events (and specifically DJ Wyatt) work my wedding this past weekend. I cannot say enough good things about the team. From the start, they work with you to see what your needs are. They have a large team, (all of which have music samples available to listen to), so you can find a DJ who may best match your style.

They offer you so much guidance along the way - as much or as little as you want. They will send you helpful info along the way as well as a very comprehensive planner so you can fill in all your important details - from your wedding party, to dress and suit inspirations, to helping you organize seating charts, gift trackers as well as to track your budget.

The ability to schedule unlimited calls is also wonderful. Often, the calls were really only a few minutes needed, but much more convenient than trying to explain yourself in a text or email when speaking verbally would probably make it much less complicated.

I had many musical visions for our wedding, and the Empire State Events team listened to every one of them and did what they could to make the dream come true -and they accomplished just that!

We are speechless. We had several people through out the night point out that they have never been on a dance floor that long, and aside from getting our drinks refilled we didn’t leave it either!! Cody handled the energy perfectly and was the easiest, most organized, most on top of everything vendor we worked with. Truly could not recommend him and empire state events more.
