When we got engaged, the first vendor we booked was Wyatt with Empire State Events as our DJ. Wyatt DJ’d at our brother and sister in law’s wedding and was phenomenal so the choice was an easy one for us.
Wyatt took multiple calls with us to ensure we were all on the same page regarding ceremony music, cocktail hour vibes, dinner music vibes and reception vibes. He listened to all our thoughts and was 100% on the same page with us.
Not only that, he was able to pull off the ultimate surprise for me when my bridesmaids and mom approached my now husband about doing a surprise performance to Super Trooper during our reception. My husband reached out to him separately to ask if he could add it to the song list but please not to let me know and somehow, they pulled it off.
Wyatt kept the energy levels up, our guests engaged and us enjoying the happiest day of our lives. He was a true pleasure to work with and honestly I wish everyone we know would book him as their DJ from now on just so we can hang out with him!

I had the wonderful experience of having Empire State Events (and specifically DJ Wyatt) work my wedding this past weekend. I cannot say enough good things about the team. From the start, they work with you to see what your needs are. They have a large team, (all of which have music samples available to listen to), so you can find a DJ who may best match your style.
They offer you so much guidance along the way - as much or as little as you want. They will send you helpful info along the way as well as a very comprehensive planner so you can fill in all your important details - from your wedding party, to dress and suit inspirations, to helping you organize seating charts, gift trackers as well as to track your budget.
The ability to schedule unlimited calls is also wonderful. Often, the calls were really only a few minutes needed, but much more convenient than trying to explain yourself in a text or email when speaking verbally would probably make it much less complicated.
I had many musical visions for our wedding, and the Empire State Events team listened to every one of them and did what they could to make the dream come true -and they accomplished just that!
Highly recommend the team - very professional, very attentive and know how to get the job done! -

WOW! We told Justin that we and our festival friends wanted to dance the night away, and oh, how he and the team delivered! They catered to all of our unique touches (can't miss the t-shirt toss), always making sure the day would feel like ours, and then we had the chance to tear up the dance floor long into the evening! WOW — Kyle absolutely blew us (and all our guests!) away. From behind the booth and on the sax 🎷, he brought so much energy and joy to the dance floor. Wyatt and his team were absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough about his talent. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. From the very beginning in our planning meetings, we told him what our goals were, and he truly listened and exceeded every expectation. The night was perfectly orchestrated, and he and his team went above and beyond to make sure everything was flawless. Wyatt not only provided incredible entertainment and music, but he was also attentive to every detail, checking in with us, making sure we had everything we needed, and keeping the energy high. He made the night so much fun that countless friends came up to me asking for his card so they could book him for their own weddings and events. Wyatt truly knows how to create an unforgettable celebration. We are beyond grateful for everything he did for our wedding was more amazing than we could have ever dreamed. Choosing Wyatt and Empire State Events was the best decision we made; if you don’t, you’re making a big mistake. My mother already booked him for my little sister's future wedding. -

We just got married on June 21st, and Empire State Events was INCREDIBLE!!! Our lead DJ was Kyle, and we had assistant DJ Thaddeus and Evan as the DJ assistant. From the first call with Wyatt, right through our wedding, each and every one of them were amazing, and incredibly professional. We had a lot of enhancements for our wedding—CO2 cannons, Dancing on the Clouds, Photo Booth, and live music during cocktail hour and our wedding introduction. I honestly don’t know which was my favorite enhancement—each one was so amazing. Kyle played the saxophone and was absolutely INCREDIBLE.
They utilize the vibo app to set the playlist and structure for the night and it made everything so easy. After we input our information into vibo, we had a few calls with Kyle and we walked through the entire timeline of the night a few times—something I very much appreciated was just how thorough the team was. We felt listened to, cared for, and all of our dreams for the night were exceeded with this team.
The music was the most important part of the reception for us, and this team exceeded everything we could have asked for. Thank you Kyle, Thaddeus and Evan!

You NEED to book Empire State Events as your DJ! You will NOT be disappointed. The entire process from start to finish was effortless. Wyatt was very thorough, organized and a great listener (he presented us with a powerpoint). Any time I had a question (from the time we booked him until the wedding) he was quick to respond via email or text. They provide an app where you answer planning questions and add all your songs. This made it so easy to plan on my part as I am a very visual person. Wyatt went above and beyond with his service on our big day and made sure we got exactly what we wanted (aka keep everyone on the dance floor all night). We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From the beginning, Wyatt was so easy to work with. He was a quick responder when we had questions, and he really understood our vision for our wedding. His website is so user-friendly and the professionalism was impressive. On our big day, he kept the energy up and had everyone on the dance floor all night long. All of our guests had such a blast. We received SO many compliments about the music and atmosphere.
We also took advantage of Empire State Event's PhotoBooth option and it was a HIT. We chose to get digital copies and we got the link the very next day!
My now-husband and I are telling all of our engaged friends to book Wyatt because him and his team are just that good! Thank you for helping to make our wedding so special, Wyatt and team!

Wyatt and his team did absolutely amazing at our wedding. Mackenzie was so sweet and helpful to all of our guests at the Photo Booth. Cody & Tristen helped keep the day & night flowing smoothly, got some great videos, and were a huge help! Wyatt kept the dance floor packed all night, while making sure he played all of our favorite songs. The planning process was super easy. Wyatt helped answer any questions I had and provided advice & suggestions when needed. The DJ is one of the biggest parts of your wedding and having one that you trust 100% is the best feeling! -

Okay... This is about to be LONG but buckle up and read the whole thing because it is WORTH IT. First things first, I met Wyatt and Thaddeus at a Bridal Expo and from the moment I said I wanted "club vibes," Wyatt recommend Thaddeus. As we talked at the expo and I told Thaddeus my crazy ideas, he supported me and was just as excited, if not more excited, than me. I decided to get a package deal and added on 4 of their other services (cold sparks, dancing on the clouds, CO2 cannons, and the photo booth). BEST DECISION EVER. All of these elements were executed perfectly by Thaddeus, his assistant, and Mackenzie, who ran the photo booth for us.
The entire planning process was so easy. The portal allows you to suggest songs, fill in information about you and your spouse, schedule meetings, make payments, and more. Thaddeus was always readily available when I requested a meeting and gave amazing suggestions for the songs we needed to select for entrances, parent dances, etc. He was always enthusiastic and made sure that I felt his excitement for our special day. Mackenzie also went out of her way to check in on me throughout the process and even sent pictures from other weddings so I could decide on a photo booth backdrop.
When I first started the planning process online, the company was under their old name - “Dj Romantics.” Throughout my wedding planning process, they developed their new LLC “Empire State Events.” The transition? SEAMLESS. Wyatt sent clear emails and communicated the change so effectively. If I had any questions, Wyatt was sure to get back to me the same day, often within a few minutes. This goes to show the absolute professionalism and organization of this amazing company.
I heard from over 20 people that my wedding was the “best wedding ever” and when I asked why, every person mentioned the music and the add-ons we had from Empire State Events. The CO2 cannons and cold sparks were big hits and the dancing on the clouds made for some stunning photographs. This team was always professional and we truly had so much fun working with them on our wedding day. When something went a little sideways and I had to change plans at the last minute, Thaddeus assured me we would work it out and Plan B ended up being the perfect solution. One of our favorite parts of the day was our private first dance at the top of the mountain. Thaddeus came to the top with us and set up his speaker. When he tested the speaker, we had a mini jam session and the photographer captured some of the most fun pictures of the entire day. This was a highlight for sure!!
I can not say enough amazing things about the entire team at Empire State Events. They truly brought all of the fun and amazing vibes. They highly contributed to the best day of our lives and I look forward to working with them again for future events. -

Our experience with DJ Romantics was fantastic. Wyatt was great to work with upfront; booking with their team was simple and the process was clear/transparent. I cannot say enough about Marshall, the DJ and acoustic guitarist who was on-site for our wedding. He was incredible -- flexible, attentive, and exceeded our expectations across the board. At one point, Marshall even asked us what we were drinking and brought us drinks from the bar. Went above and beyond to make this such a special event. Cannot rave enough! -

We married on August 10th, 2024, and had Thaddeus/DJ Swag as our DJ. Most weddings I have had the privilege to attend their DJs tend to be over the top. I did not want my wedding music to sound like a radio DJ. Thaddeus and his team had multiple check-ins with me throughout the wedding process. Empire State Events paid close attention to the small details, which made my wedding run smoothly. Music was everything I wanted and imagined.
For example, as my bridal party was walking down the aisle I got nervous because the song ended and a couple of people still needed to walk down the aisle. Thaddeus and his team made a smooth transition you couldn't even notice that the song ended. The attention to this small detail is a quality you need in a DJ.
Hands down the best DJ team around. Their aesthetic is professional, fun, and fresh. Their equipment is up-to-date and modern. I had lots of compliments on how great the DJs and music were. -

I’ve always said that I wanted my wedding to be a big dance party with everyone I love, and it was that and more. Wyatt was the life of the party and kept people on the dance floor ALL night. We got married in June 2024, and had Thaddeus as our DJ. Mackenzie took care of the photo-booth.
Over the course of the 9 months leading up to the wedding I probably had 4 or 5 calls with Thaddeus to give him the general vibe we were looking for & work out details. He was professional, honest, and gave great feedback. We had many specific asks and Thaddeus made sure all of our wants fit into his plan. Once the party was going, we gave Thaddeus the creative freedom to do his thing & make sure our guests had a good time. He totally delivered. I absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ that can keep the party going!
Mackenzie was great to work with as well. Empire State Events got more backdrops to choose from in the middle of our planning, so she gave me the option to switch! I’m glad we did, the eucalyptus backdrop fit perfectly with our vision. Mackenzie was incredibly friendly & ready to help anyone that needed assistance. Our guests loved the photo-booth & our kids/nieces & nephews were entertained too! Win-win!

Oh boy, literally stop your search and get Wyatt and his team for your wedding. I can literally not say enough amazing things about the music AND the extra things he did for my wedding. I had my wedding in Hudson, NY in October, it rained, as it did every weekend of the fall. The buses were an hour late, so now we were an hour late. Wyatt was so easy going and said he will do whatever needs to be done to get his stuff done and make it a great party. He definitely did that! He had basically the entire wedding out on the dance floor the whole night. There was never a song that made people sit down. He and his assistant were behind the DJ stand dancing along, it was such a great night. There was even a Conga line started on the dance floor because everyone was having such a blast.
Aside from the actual music at my wedding, Wyatt was the first vendor to come up to our table, check in on us and get us some drinks. He made us feel so special, we just can't thank him enough. Secondly, there was some confusion on the order of happening at the wedding, and Wyatt was the only one to come up to me and ask "what do you want to have happen, because I'll make that happen" and he did.
My final note, though I could go on forever, is that the Tuesday before my wedding, we had a meeting set up with Wyatt. I was complaining to my, now, husband about how I didn't have time for this meeting and I had a million other things to be doing and I was so overwhelmed. My husband said we gotta do it and we will get right back into the organizing after. We hopped on the call, and that was probably the most relaxing night I had that whole week. Wyatt calmed my nerves so much, without even knowing it. We talked through the bridal party line up, the timing of everything, even that didn't include him, and he gave us all of the advice he had and made it feel FUN again.
I'm telling you, Wyatt was more than just someone who plays music at a wedding, he made the whole event so personalized, and added our own music taste to it. We had so many people tell us how much they enjoyed the wedding, food, AND especially music. Book him now and I promise you won't regret it because I definitely don't. -

Remarkable
Wyatt and his team helped make our wedding an unforgettable day. He was a pleasure to work with, always very professional and responsive. He worked to make sure there was music for everyone to get on the dance floor, from ABBA to Afroman people were excited and dancing all night long. My wife, a big Taylor Swift fan, got to have a moment singing one of her favorite songs while standing on a platform they had at our venue. The mics and sound for our ceremony and introductions were great. We’ve had so many people remark on how we had such a great DJ, we will definitely be going with DJ Romantics and his team for any future events. The Photo Booth was a hit too! -

Perfection
DJ ROMANTICS OR NO ONE! If you are searching for a DJ be thankful Wyatt and his team are available! My wife and I hired him as our wedding DJ and had the most incredible experience. Wyatt was an absolute professional throughout the entire process and overall an incredibly talented DJ but so much more than that. He was there to support us and answer questions every step of the way, touching base often without us having to reach out. Hyping us and our guests up over Instagram prior to the wedding, making us feel like his only clients (while actually in the throws of wedding season). We told him what we wanted for the night and he put together a perfect mix. He brought in a saxophonist for cocktail hour, then got everyone up and dancing to a disco after dinner and continuing the night with an EDM concert with a lights show to match. He brought every piece of equipment he had (speakers, lights, etc.), a ton of stuff and put on a performance. The place was rocking.
Wyatt treats his clients like family. You can tell he genuinely cares about you and your experience far beyond any customer service standard. One of the first texts I received on my wedding day from Wyatt: “My guy! It’s game day! Let’s do this!” From start to finish we feel so fortunate to have been able to have DJ Romantics take our wedding to the next level. Also small piece of advice, get the CO2 cannons package!! -

The best advice I can give anyone reading this review is you absolutely MUST hire Kyle & Cody Chamberlin, period. It will end up being money very well spent. Kyle & Cody Chamberlin were extremely detail oriented and could not have possibly put together a better DJ performance for our wedding on 10.21.23. We received feedback from DOZENS of our guests specifically stating how incredible the DJ was. Firstly, between the two of them they have over 30 years of experience in the music industry playing several instruments and are only in their early 30’s. Music is simply what they do, know and love. Secondly, they played LIVE music to start the night off and it sounded absolutely incredible! My in laws could not believe it and were raving about how people never play live music quite like this anymore at weddings. We witnessed couples dancing that haven’t in years, and were told by many people this was the best wedding reception they’ve ever attended. Both Kyle & Cody went above and beyond what we could have anticipated and I’m truly grateful that we have this memory to look back on. I hope I have another opportunity to utilize their services again in the future. You will not regret hiring them. -

DJ Romantics/Wyatt is hands down the man for whatever gig you need. No amount of words will be able to encompass how amazing Wyatt was throughout this entire process. He handled our entire wedding as if it was his own. He was there whenever we needed him whether it was 8 months out or 20 minutes before our ceremony, he was there. The amount of surprises he provided our wedding will go down as some of the most memorable moments from our wedding. Not only will you get the love and care from him, but you will also get the same from his extremely supportive team.
When you’re looking for someone to handle a special event, you look for someone who’s going to take care of you. You’re looking for someone who you can trust and have your best interests. That is Wyatt Roberts. Of course, he’s amazing when it comes to DJing, but this whole process felt like family was taking care of us and not just some hire. Throughout this entire process he was extremely professional, outgoing, and polite. Everyone came up to us throughout the night letting us know how special the music and ceremonies were. He helped create our perfect night with all of our friends and families and we will forever be thankful that we chose him to be our guy. One thing me and my now wife are good at, are recognizing good people. We don’t need to go around and listen to other DJ’s give us the breakdown. We knew from our first meeting that Wyatt was our guy. Outside of marrying my wife, hands down the easiest decision was choosing him to be our DJ.
If you are thinking about any kind of event, the decision is easy. This is the guy for any job. You will NOT find someone who will care for you the way this man will. You will always be his top priority and he will let that be known. Not having to worry about your DJ is important, especially when planning major events. Take your stress away and hire not only an amazing DJ but an even better person. Wyatt will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Wyatt really made our wedding day so fun and memorable. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night and all of our guests LOVED the digital photo booth. It was so cool to be able to look back on all the pictures after the wedding.
Everything from his announcements, to the reception, dinner and ceremony music was so spot on and exactly what we wanted for our day. He made himself available to us for as many meetings we wanted prior to the wedding to be sure he understood exactly what our vibe and vision was for the night. DJ Romantics saved my wedding! No joke I contacted him the night before my wedding after my original DJ ghosted me and Wyatt was able to move some things around and be my DJ. He made time to hop on a call with me and talk through my vision for the wedding and he MADE 👏🏼IT👏🏼HAPPEN👏🏼 He threw a ranger of a party and even let my husband sing and perform a musical theater song with one of his groomsmen during the reception 😂 I’m low key kind of happy that my old DJ ghosted me because I was able to have one of the best DJs ever!! Smooth process
The meetings we had before and the system they use is very helpful! We did wish we had more songs from our playlist but we still had a blast! The DJ helped move the timeline along well and did intros and MC. Ceremony music was great and the uplighting was a perfect fit! -
