We really couldn’t have imagined a better DJ for our October wedding at the Picnic House in Prospect Park than James. He is so organized, thoughtful, creative, and calm - making everything about the day being exactly as we hoped it would be and somehow even better. From planning through every detail of our ceremony and reception to managing and supporting two live bands to DJ’ing the best set. We can’t recommend him enough or thank him enough for an incredible process of planning and an absolutely perfect day.

Once you've got your date and venue set, do yourself a favor and make sure your next call is to James!! He came highly recommended by the Wythe, our wedding venue (he DJ's their staff parties - that said it all to us!), and he was truly amazing. From a planning point of view, he made everything so easy. We had a lengthy form to fill out that covered absolutely everything, from music requests, to the timeline of the day, to pronunciation of our VIP's names. We loved knowing that absolutely everything was covered! From our initial Zoom call with him we knew we could totally trust him to "do his thing" - we gave him some genres (90s hip hop & RnB, please) and a few examples of songs we liked, and boy did he deliver. EVERY. SINGLE. SONG he chose was a 10/10. And that included some not so common Australian hits that wouldn't be on his usual rotation. On top of that, he MC's so naturally and kept the reception moving so smoothly. Our friends were on the dance floor the entire night (even chanting "one more song! one more song!" at the end) and that was truly the greatest gift. Thank you, James!!

James was honestly the best DJ and so integral to the dance party vibe! James was recommended by our venue in the Catskills, and after talking to him, we knew he would be the perfect choice for our wedding in late September 2024. He is charming and kind, and knows how to take the edge off, which was helpful when we were navigating day-of jitters and a last minute medical emergency. For planning, he has a thorough worksheet but also can work with as little guidance and go off the cuff. We provided lists of songs and genres/vibes, but limited must plays, and he executed perfectly. He also has a very in depth planning meeting a few weeks out to go through all details, sends back notes, and is very responsive through to the day. He even cut the first dance and parent dance music for us based on our limited comfort level with dancing. He traveled to our venue 3 hours away from Brooklyn with all of the equipment himself. He gets everything set up, and all guests sitting anywhere during the ceremony and reception could hear the sound crisply. He's also not cheesy like some other wedding DJs and was a very classy MC. We also had included Greek songs requests to kick-off the dance party, and he suggested additional songs based on his previous experiences. We had so much fun and our guests had so much fun! James really knows and understands his audience and picks songs to get people up and dancing, even ones we hadn't requested. Guests were shazaming songs left and right. He also completely reflected the vibe we wanted and the vision we had. He also had DJ's choice for the last song and played the perfect last song to end the night. We highly recommend selecting James, he was amazing and made our wedding day simply epic.
