Jesse was great for our bilingual wedding!

With half of our guests predominantly Spanish-speaking, music was a big stress point for us. We wanted everyone to feel included, comfortable, and excited to be on the dance floor. Jesse was a great MC and DJ, and his mic skills really stood out. That’s such an underrated part of choosing a wedding DJ, and Jesse was very comfortable working the crowd in both English and Spanish.

We gave him about 30 sample songs that captured the two vibes we were trying to blend, and he took it from there. He did a great job reading the room, mixing both styles naturally, and keeping the energy up all night. The dance floor was packed, and we honestly couldn’t get people off of it.

Music and dancing can make or break how people remember a wedding, so hiring someone who knows how to read the room and choose the perfect vibe is crucial. Jesse helped make our big night unforgettable, and we’d absolutely recommend him!

Wedding planning could be stressful. It is also difficult to coordinate between multiple vendors. Dj Jesse made our life much easier bringing up suggestions based on his professional experience. These suggestions really helped out a lot. Jesse was super communicative and was there every step of the way. Not only did he give us suggestions, but he also took out a lot of time to chat with us and get to really know what we like in music. This made our wedding memorable because all of the right songs played at the right time. Everyone really enjoyed the music and to this day keep talking about how great of a DJ we had. DJ El Jesse made our wedding absolutely unforgettable. From the very beginning, he understood exactly what we were looking for and brought our vision to life perfectly.

As a Dominican and Puerto Rican bride and a Puerto Rican groom (both NYC 90s babies) we wanted a very specific vibe: a seamless mix of traditional salsa, merengue, and bachata alongside 90s R&B/hip-hop and 2000s pop/EDM. Somehow, he blended it all effortlessly, and the result was incredible. Every transition felt natural, and every song hit. The dance floor was packed the entire night...no exaggeration. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had.

Beyond the music, DJ El Jesse is the definition of a professional. He took the time to meet with us over Zoom, really listened to our preferences, and even helped us build out playlists so everything felt personal and intentional. He was organized, responsive, and clearly experienced, which made the whole process stress-free for us.

We also had a small hiccup that caused our wedding to run longer than expected, and he stayed without hesitation, no questions asked. That meant so much to us. On top of everything, he even captured amazing videos of the dance floor, moments we’ll truly cherish for the rest of our lives. That extra touch meant so much and speaks to how much pride he takes in what he does.

He was also incredibly affordable compared to other DJs we looked at, especially for the level of service he provides. We had him cover our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and he executed each part flawlessly.

Jesse was amazing! He was always there when we needed him and he was constantly checking up on us! He was very communicative during the planning process as well as during the wedding itself. Jesse was an absolute gem! He was incredible throughout the whole wedding process and was so helpful. We first found Jesse through an instagram deep dive, what really called out to me was that he MC’d in English and Spanish. This was really important to me, as I had family coming from Peru and my now husband had family that also only spoke English. So we essentially needed someone who could speak to both our cultures. Once we got to speaking with him in our first meeting, we immediately felt taken care of and trusted him completely. He was organized, he was fun to talk to, and had a calming presence that reassured us. Three fourths of the way into our wedding planning process we had to shift venues and he was so flexible and made us feel comfortable about everything still going to plan. We had a few different meetings and check ins that helped the day of go really smoothly and he also collaborated effortlessly with our wedding coordinator. On the day of he helped with ceremony set up, cocktail hour set up and then kept the party alive throughout the reception. He was the best person for the job and couldn’t imagine hiring anyone else for the job. He made our wedding what it was and kept the vibes exactly where they needed to be! 🙌🏼🙏🏼✨

Let me start off by saying I’ve known Jesse for a good while. I had a great time at every party I attended to that he DJ’d, Fast forward a few years he starts doing weddings and I knew I’d want him to be the one to DJ our wedding. At a friend’s wedding reception I mentioned to Jesse that I may need his services soon and sure enough Jesse reached out to me after my engagement. Jesse was flexible and accommodating with his schedule. From reaching out and meeting with my fiancée and I, conversing over our tastes in music, what vision we were going for he definitely helped us pick a package for our night. He even asked details I hadn’t even thought off that definitely contributed to our wedding night going smoothly.
