Gina was an absolutely incredible DJ for our wedding this summer. From our first call, they brought the energy we were looking for and maintained the same excitement, connection to us and positive energy that made planning incredibly easy, and our wedding truly magical. They grabbed on to our musical tastes, and cultivated an immaculate playlist to keep the energy high and vibes fun all night long. In addition, they provided some helpful feedback in finding the perfect song for us to end our night on and helped edit our first dance song to the perfect length while maintaining its integrity.

Gina was a fantastic MC throughout the reception, and a vital part to ensuring sound ran easily across the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. For example, a few days before our wedding we had to double check the audio equipment would work with our venue, which was a tad anxiety inducing. Gina stepped in and communicated clearly with our venue and planner to ensure the equipment they had would work seamlessly - and it did! That was a massive help and made us feel incredibly at ease. Gina was a great partner throughout our wedding, and we couldn't recommend them more highly!!

We could not have been happier with Beat Train and DJ Jeff! From our very first interactions, the entire team was incredibly responsive, professional, and easy to work with. Communication throughout the planning process was excellent, and they made us feel confident that every detail was being taken care of. DJ Jeff was fantastic to work with and was incredibly proactive in making sure everything was just right. He took the time to understand our music preferences, confirm our timeline, learn the correct pronunciation of names, and gather all of the little details that helped our reception run seamlessly. It was clear that he genuinely cared about bringing our vision to life, and we felt completely confident in his hands.
On our wedding day, Jeff exceeded every expectation. He is an incredibly talented DJ with a great instinct for reading the room and keeping the dance floor energized all night. His mixing was seamless, the music flowed perfectly, and he always seemed to know exactly what to play next. We had an absolute blast, and we've received countless compliments from our guests about how much fun they had and how great the music was. The lighting also looked incredible and added so much to the atmosphere of the reception. If you're looking for a DJ who is talented, organized, and genuinely invested in making your wedding unforgettable, we cannot recommend Beat Train and DJ Jeff highly enough.

We only had about 2.5 months to plan our wedding, so finding a DJ we could trust was incredibly important. We found Beat Train through our search for Providence/Boston-area wedding DJs, and after their manager matched us with several DJs based on our personalities and music preferences, we met Katy first—and immediately knew she was the right fit.

Katy made the entire process incredibly easy. She was prepared, responsive, relaxed, and never once made us feel pressured. She gave us tons of resources and recommendations, helped us choose the perfect portions of songs for our ceremony and dances, accommodated our requests and do-not-play list, and answered every question with genuine excitement about our wedding.

On the wedding day, she worked seamlessly with our coordinator and was so personable that our guests genuinely thought she was a longtime friend of ours. She was fun and funny without ever making herself the center of attention, and her MCing was clear, enthusiastic, and completely natural.

And somehow, Katy got two very non-dancing people and two very non-dancing families onto a packed dance floor all night. Guests of every age were dancing, and we heard nothing but compliments about the music afterward.

She also handled an unexpected technical issue during the reception flawlessly, immediately jumping in to fix the problem and getting the music back up without missing a beat.

Katy was professional, attentive, calm, fun, and genuinely invested in making our wedding perfect. We had multiple guests ask how we knew her, and we already have family and coworkers planning weddings who have asked us for her information.

Everyone on the Beat Train team was amazing! Right from the first inquiry, they were quick to respond, thoroughly answered any questions we had, and made sure to match us up with a DJ that fit our needs. DJ Katy was INCREDIBLE! She was so fun to work with and is super talented at what she does. She had our whole wedding dancing the entire evening and played a great mix of all genres. She was also a great emcee and kept everything running smoothly. You could tell she put a lot of time and energy into making the playlists. She was THE BEST and we would highly recommend her and Beat Train to anyone!

Beat Train was absolutely amazing from the owner meeting with us and getting the background on us. Always prompt to getting back to us whether it was a call or email. We ended up going with DJ Katy Sackett, let me tell you she’s amazing in every sense of the word. She was so easy to talk to and helped us map out what we wanted on our special day. On our wedding day she was alway checking in with us and played the music that we love plus she’s got some great mixes. I would highly recommend her for any event!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Austin. As musicians ourselves, we were highly drawn to Austin’s eclectic tastes and collaborative spirit.

Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the music Austin played at cocktail hour, which was a mix of Nick Drake, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and requests we had taken from answers in our RSVPs. When it was time to start dancing, he kicked things off with some Whitney Houston and was extremely welcoming and inviting.

In lieu of a wedding band, we organized a DIY jam session involving a good chunk of our guests, who were also musicians. Austin kept the night moving by being ready with transition music between sets and personnel changeovers. He was extremely knowledgeable about gear and communicative with us about our timeline.

Would highly recommend and would definitely work with him again!

Best Train, and Rayven in particular, did an incredible job dj-ing our wedding. They were incredibly attentive and helpful with everything from setting up the ceremony sound, lighting the reception area, and listening to not only our music requests but feeling the vibes of the night and adjusting on the fly. Could not recommend more, definitely helped make our night feel incredibly special!

Katy Sackett of Beat Train was our DJ for our wedding and we could not have been happier! She kept in touch with us throughout the planning process and made sure every detail that we envisioned was taken care of. On our wedding day, she helped make it as perfect of a night as it could be. She brought high energy, played great music, including all of our requests, and got people on the dance floor having a great time. In addition, her customer service was unexpected, but so welcomed - she kept checking in on me and my husband throughout the night to see what we wanted and if everything was going alright, which was above and beyond her duties. Highly, highly recommend!!

Greg is a hero. I initially reached out to him because I liked his sample set (and because he played with one of my favorite bands). It was very clear through our chats that Greg is professional, kind, silly, and really cares about putting together a set that's seasoned to taste. He was super responsive to suggestions and creative with crafting the cocktail hour playlist. But damn, he can really read a room. In the middle of dancing, the power blew out at the venue. Surprised but undeterred, the crowd continued to party. I got my hands on a guitar and started to play Smash Mouth's All Star precariously perched atop a folding chair. During the first chorus the power came back on, and Greg heroically, smoothly, SEAMLESSLY blended in the actual All Star. Everyone cheered. It was amazing. My calves were sore for 4 days from jumping on concrete. Go with Greg.

Greg Lanzillotta from Beat Train Productions was an excellent DJ who went above and beyond to make our wedding celebration memorable. From our early planning stages, Greg provided valuable feedback on our initial song submissions in terms of what would fit best. He also did a great job pairing certain songs back to back in clever ways, and seamlessly wove in special cultural music we also wanted to hear. Greg was able to incorporate all of our “must plays,” and also impressed us with the other songs he played which went over very well with the crowd and kept the energy on the dance floor high. Greg also took the time to share playlists of the exact music played throughout the ceremony and reception so that we could relive the sounds from our special day whenever we’d like. All in all Greg was great to work with, and we would highly recommend him and Beat Train Productions!
