We hired Sam Turner to be our DJ and he was beyond great! Coordinating through Beat Train was easy, and I liked how I could see Sam's profile and listen to his sound clouds. We felt our musical tastes jibed fairly well so we contacted him.
At our in-person meeting he was very professional and asked all the right questions (things we wouldn't have even thought to tell him we wanted). He was super responsive between our meeting and the wedding. On the day of he was spectacular, being a great MC and thinking on his feet to make things go smoothly where there was some unexpected snafus (not caused by him). Most importantly he was great at bringing people on the dance floor and keeping them there, playing all the songs we requested and brilliantly mixing in other crowd pleasers.
In looking around, I definitely saw DJs that cost more, but absolutely nothing was lacking with Sam so I can't imagine why I would've spent more. We searched throughout New England for just the right DJ and decided on Beat Train and their artist Jake Nissen. I have nothing but words of praise/encouragement to anyone considering using him to help masterfully tie together their wedding.
Music was a priority and something I felt particular in trying to create a unique soundtrack that reflected our long relationship while also keeping people on the floor. I filtered through hundreds of precious fav songs before talking with Jake upon our initial consultation and found him immediately kind/receptive in helping us create exactly what we wanted.
While our music for the dinning/dancing gravitated towards an eclectic mix of soul, 30’s big band, folk, alternative, pop, & 80’s, I feel confident Jake could have tied in any genre we threw at him. He played every one of our requests and arranged our selections to match flawlessly with his own while being receptive to myself/guests and technically blending everything together seamlessly. He even matched the BPM’s of each song we submitted to be arranged into the best mix possible.
Our tent reception was in a very non-traditional large outside setting with plenty of places for people to mingle/roam, but throughout the entire night Jake kept everyone on the dance floor and together for every announcement/speech. He was always present, professional, clear, (never intrusive) and our guests continue to praise his work months later.
Pre-wedding Jake kept in contact and even drove hours out of his way to consult with my wife and I in person. Of course on the big day he traveled literally across the state to a field in the middle of nowhere to be there for us.
From my first telephone conversation, to our last song of the night “Under Pressure” I never felt pressure with Jake knowing we were in such good hands. It felt like having just one more of our close friends with us to help celebrate what was truly one of our favorite days ever. Thanks Jake!

Dj joe lopez crushed it.
DJ Joe Lopez absolutely slayed our wedding! From helping us pick the right music for the precessional to the right hip hop music playing dinner, and then non stop dancing until the end of the night- he really kept it going. Beat Train was so easy to work with- and answered all of our questions. We can't stop talking about how amazing DJ Joe Lopez was!!! Thank you again!!!DJ Joe Lopez absolutely slayed our wedding! Jeff Durand was our DJ for our September 2017 wedding and we could not have been more happy/ satisfied with him. Leading up to our big day Jeff was extremely responsive and addressed all of our questions in a very timely, detailed fashion. Jeff remained professional during the whole process and showed up on our wedding day on-time and got set up in no time. He always had a back up place/ plan B just in case for every situation which was extremely reassuring for my husband and I. Everything from the cocktail hour music and dinner music, to the bridal party introductions and dance party music was fantastic. Not only were my husband and I beyond happy about Jeff but our friends and family continuously rave about the music during our wedding. We could not recommend Beat Train and Jeff enough!

Joe Lopez and the Beat Train team are very good at what they do. We couldn't have been more impressed by the job well done. We decided to use Beat Train Productions for our July wedding in NYC and had the pleasure of working with DJ Shane Page. I honestly do not have enough great things to say about working with this company and Shane in particular. From our ceremony through the reception, the music for our whole day was on point! Shane had all of our guests out on the dance floor and really kept the part going. People were coming up to us throughout the night commenting about how fantastic the music was! Even some of our older guests found themselves flocking to the dance floor!! The playlist was perfect and we could not have been happier with how things played out. For anyone who wants to have a super fun, memorable wedding, I would highly recommend hiring Beat Train and working with Shane Page!!We decided to use Beat Train Productions for our July wedding in NYC and had the pleasure of working with DJ Shane Page. We had the pleasure of working with Elissa P. We researched many different entertainment companies -- both DJ and live band alike.
We really wanted to get the music at our wedding right: from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception. We had many genres of music that we wanted to implement to set the mood at every stage of our wedding. We also wanted to make it a memorable evening for a diverse guest list from rockers, dance music lovers, to retired relatives and friends. Now in our 40’s we have such a diverse music love, but absolutely love great dance music as former “club heads” from NYC and Florida. When we came across Beat Train Productions we were impressed with their experience and track record. We researched the profiles of their DJ partners and reached out to Elissa for a consult. Beat Train Productions is so prompt, professional, and consultative they really won our business. It was so easy to work with them from Connecticut and business transactions were a breeze. After our first consult with Elissa, it was a no-brainer. Elissa collaborated with us to understand the best way she could make our day special. She touched based with us along the way from 90, 60, 30 days into the week of our wedding. Elissa made our day very special and set the mood at every turn. She kept everyone moving throughout the night. We are truly grateful to have worked with Elissa she is a gifted artist.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Seth. He was so attentive during the planning process, and was totally on the same wavelength. I mentioned the general vibe we were going for during dinner, and he knew exactly which artists and songs to play. Since the wedding, we've gotten so much positive feedback on Seth from our guests. Many of them have said they've never heard such a great mix of music at a wedding before. It was so hard to sit down and take a break because every song he played was better than the last! We had our guests cheering "one more song" at the end of the night... I've never seen demand for an encore at a wedding before! It's a testament to how great he was. We are absolutely thrilled that we chose Seth because he helped make our wedding the best night of our lives!I can't say enough wonderful things about Seth. THE BEST dance floor!!
Our guests were absolutely RAVING about our wedding dance floor!! DJ Spencer Henderson was spectacular — you would be incredibly lucky to work with him! He stuck close to our list of must play/ maybe play songs, but added in a couple unexpected remixes that were SO much fun. He read the crowd perfectly and kept the dance floor packed all night. Multiple guests told me they needed a break but they couldn't bear to miss a single song! Spencer was enthusiastic and helpful throughout the music planning process, and flexible when we made some last-minute changes to our wedding day schedule because of stormy weather. I cannot recommend him highly enough!!
Overall, working with Beat Train was incredibly smooth, and everyone I communicated with was friendly and quick-to-respond. We had to postpone our wedding date twice due to the pandemic, but they made it so easy for us to shift our plans and pick a new DJ when our original choice was no longer available. From start to finish, Beat Train Productions was simply amazing!!Our guests were absolutely RAVING about our wedding dance floor!! The best wedding music EVER
I cannot recommend Beat Train enough! They connected us with our eventual wedding DJ, Zuri, and it was a match made in heaven! Zuri totally understood the vision for both our dinner and dancing sections and created the most perfect set lists for the vibes we were going for. Zuri is kind, communicative, versatile, and absolutely knows how to keep every guest on the dance floor. You know it’s good when your DJ friends at your wedding tell you that your wedding DJ absolutely crushed it. Thank you for helping to make our wedding the event of the year!I cannot recommend Beat Train enough! They connected us with our eventual wedding DJ, Zuri, and it was a match made in heaven! Maliyah is the GOAT
Maliyah was THE BEST!! She perfectly curated a mix of music everyone at the wedding loved- the dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT and no one was sitting down. She met with us several times to discuss what we were looking for, was super professional and made our day absolutely perfect! We knew that good music and a great DJ is often what guests enjoy most at a reception. Our dance floor was packed from the second it opened to the very end of the night, and our DJ, Greg, deserves all of the credit. Beat Train was incredibly professional and attentive from our first phone call. From our meetings with him, Greg did a great job figuring out our music style. He offered suggestions, and was so helpful when it came to answering all of our questions. The music he played felt like we picked it ourselves, even though we gave him very few specifications. Greg even helped us coordinate a dance floor surprise for our friends’ one-year wedding anniversary. One of the most frequent comments we've heard from our guests since our wedding has been "your DJ was amazing, I had so much fun- and it was so you!" Greg is excellent reading the crowd. He was fantastic when it came to playing music that appealed to all guests. We've already recommended Beat Train (and Greg specifically) to several people. Jeff was exactly what we were looking for for our latest High School Dance. Keeping our themes fresh and cool is very important to the students, so to have a REAL DJ like Jeff was something special. I would recommend Jeff for anyone looking to have a very cool and stylish event that is tailor made to their liking. Keeping our themes fresh and cool is very important to the students, so to have a REAL DJ like Jeff was something special. Easy Five Stars!
We are so happy we had DJ Allie Rivera from Beat Train at our wedding! She was great from the beginning of the process through the end of the party! Allie was easy to get in touch with, friendly and fun on the calls we had with her, and really paid attention to the type of music we said we liked on the beat train portal (which was easy to use). During the party, she was great at reading the room and knowing what to play to keep the good energy going all day! Our caterer even emailed us a few days after the party to say how great the music was. You really can't go wrong with DJ Allie!We are so happy we had DJ Allie Rivera from Beat Train at our wedding! Greg was the perfect DJ for our wedding. We had not wanted a typical DJ and found Beat Train productions because of its different blends of music. Greg had just the right mix of well-appreciated popular music with a funky alternative flare. We wanted to get everyone dancing and from the moment the first dance ended, the dance floor was packed. Even our 90-year-old grandmother! Everyone complimented the music throughout the night and days after. I had had concerns about a party that would start in daylight but Greg read the energy perfectly and made it a dance party to remember. We also really liked the dinner music and heard many of our favorites without having to ask for them. We would recommend Greg for your wedding or any event.Greg was the perfect DJ for our wedding. This place has all the awards for a reason. DJ Joel rocked his booth hard. It was SO MUCH FUN! And if all the people dancing for hours was any indication, he did a great job. There were dance circles, and people singing, and cheering when certain songs came on. We didn't have a cake cutting song planned, and Joel played Uptown Funk which made me the most happy.
He listened to all of our requests and made the music flow naturally. He was also the liaison with the venue staff which I wasn't expecting and turned out to be hugely helpful. He was a very calm, mellow presence and kept the night moving smoothly.

A DJ that will keep everyone dancing!
David was a great DJ for our wedding! From the planning to executing the day of, David was nothing short of professional, detailed orientated, and very easy to work with. He made sure the transitions were seamless with timely announcements, listened to our requests, and played non-stop hits to keep the dance floor moving. Several of our wedding guests even mentioned how great the music was! Beat train had several DJs to choose from, at different price points which is helpful if you're on a tighter budget. I would highly recommend Beat Train, especially DJ David!David was a great DJ for our wedding! We used Beat Train for our wedding at the Liberty Hotel and couldn't be happier. They completed our uplighting exactly how we discussed and it was perfect. Our DJ was Jeff Durand and he puts all wedding DJ stereotypes to rest. Leading up to the wedding he met us several times to clarify the process and to help make our night special. He was open to being creative with our night or managing everything on his own, made suggestions, and was extremely helpful. He even offered to share a Spotify account, so we could review music together if needed. This helped us share music for our ceremony and he made suggestions that we actually used for the ceremony. This also helped to make sure we were on the same page.
During the day of the wedding, the ceremony music was perfect, no issues, and timing was spot on. We have been to so many ceremonies that had issues and confusion with music and timing. This was a concern of ours going into it, but Jeff made it perfect and the music timing was perfect. Jeff helped mix music for our intros and the introductions were pronounced perfectly. He lead the night along exactly how we planned and everything was on time. The music he chose for the night kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Some DJ's may claim this, but our wedding dance floor was packed all night and more than I could have hoped for. I saw and heard that people that never dance were on the dance floor having a blast. Our guests commented on how professional Jeff was, on the selection of music, and how packed the dance floor was. I would highly recommend Jeff to mc and organize any event. He was extremely professional, well spoken, organized, punctual, and kept the dance floor packed all night long. I will be using Jeff again for other events that may come up and will be recommending him without hesitation to my friends and colleagues.

From the start Beat Train was a great choice. Their customer service is top notch and we were never left wondering about anything. They had a variety of talent to pick from and we were matched with Joe who was phenomenal. He was available to answer any questions and he understood our musical preferences with such ease. On the actual wedding day the music flowed really smooth and our guests couldn't stop talking about how great Joe was. I would 1000% recommend beat train and while we are so happy to have matched with Joe, I feel confident that any of their DJ's would be really wonderful. Sam Turner was our DJ and I cannot begin to tell you what a hit he was at our wedding. Sam and Beat Train were incredibly easy to work with. We met with Sam before signing any contracts and we also sampled some of his work on Beat Train's website. We knew before meeting him that it was going to be a good match but we couldn't have been more on the money. Sam totally understood the type of music we were going for, he mixed in our requests seamlessly, and he was able to get everyone on the dance floor and dancing throughout the night. I received so many compliments about him on our wedding day and still do even to this day. He made us look really good! We also added on a lighting package through Beat Train and that really completed the look and feel of our reception at Battery Gardens. Our DJ, Jake, was INCREDIBLE! We were SO happy to have had Jake DJ our wedding. We read wonderful reviews beforehand and when we met Jake in person to share our music preferences, we were even more excited for our big day. As soon as the music started, our guests were UP AND DANCING! We had dance circles happening almost immediately and guests of all ages danced the night away. Many people commented how the majority of our guests danced almost the entire night. Jake was kind, warm, fun, and talented. He got the party going and kept it going all night.
