DJ El Jesse made our wedding absolutely unforgettable. From the very beginning, he understood exactly what we were looking for and brought our vision to life perfectly.
As a Dominican and Puerto Rican bride and a Puerto Rican groom (both NYC 90s babies) we wanted a very specific vibe: a seamless mix of traditional salsa, merengue, and bachata alongside 90s R&B/hip-hop and 2000s pop/EDM. Somehow, he blended it all effortlessly, and the result was incredible. Every transition felt natural, and every song hit. The dance floor was packed the entire night...no exaggeration. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had.
Beyond the music, DJ El Jesse is the definition of a professional. He took the time to meet with us over Zoom, really listened to our preferences, and even helped us build out playlists so everything felt personal and intentional. He was organized, responsive, and clearly experienced, which made the whole process stress-free for us.
What really stood out was his ability to read the room and keep the energy going. He knew exactly when to switch it up, when to lean into the classics, and when to surprise everyone with something unexpected.
We also had a small hiccup that caused our wedding to run longer than expected, and he stayed without hesitation, no questions asked. That meant so much to us. It really showed how thoughtful he is and how much he genuinely cares about the experience YOU want to have on YOUR wedding day. He truly makes it all about you, which is rare.
On top of everything, he even captured amazing videos of the dance floor, moments we’ll truly cherish for the rest of our lives. That extra touch meant so much and speaks to how much pride he takes in what he does.
He was also incredibly affordable compared to other DJs we looked at, especially for the level of service he provides. We had him cover our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and he executed each part flawlessly.
If you’re looking for a DJ who can honor your culture, understand your vision, and keep your guests on the dance floor all night, DJ El Jesse is it. A DJ who truly cares. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much Jesse!!!!! -

Jesse was amazing! He was always there when we needed him and he was constantly checking up on us! He was very communicative during the planning process as well as during the wedding itself. Jesse DJ’d our wedding, and let me tell you, there are only a few things Jesse isn’t.
He is dependable and thoughtful. He is very experienced and will keep the party going all night. He is personable and will go out of his way to make your night special. He is prepared and will make you feel that you are in good hands.
He is NOT someone you have to chase down for details and he is not stressful to work with.

Jesse was an absolute gem! He was incredible throughout the whole wedding process and was so helpful. We first found Jesse through an instagram deep dive, what really called out to me was that he MC’d in English and Spanish. This was really important to me, as I had family coming from Peru and my now husband had family that also only spoke English. So we essentially needed someone who could speak to both our cultures. Once we got to speaking with him in our first meeting, we immediately felt taken care of and trusted him completely. He was organized, he was fun to talk to, and had a calming presence that reassured us. Three fourths of the way into our wedding planning process we had to shift venues and he was so flexible and made us feel comfortable about everything still going to plan. We had a few different meetings and check ins that helped the day of go really smoothly and he also collaborated effortlessly with our wedding coordinator. On the day of he helped with ceremony set up, cocktail hour set up and then kept the party alive throughout the reception. He was the best person for the job and couldn’t imagine hiring anyone else for the job. He made our wedding what it was and kept the vibes exactly where they needed to be! 🙌🏼🙏🏼✨ -

When my (now) husband and I began the planning process of our wedding, one of the first things we booked after the venue was the DJ because in our family, a party is nothing without good music! We were on a mission to find a bilingual DJ who understood our vision and was able to fuse the several different genres and cultures of our event seamlessly and DJ El Jesse absolutely delivered with a dance floor that felt absolutely electric.
Jesse takes a very personalized and tailored approach with his clients, from setting up meetings to capture the total vibe of our event, sharing updates throughout the process, and even scheduling a call to go over the final run of show- I knew we were in great hands! He took his time curating our playlist for both our cocktail hour & reception to make sure it was exactly what we were looking for! He even went above and beyond to accommodate new elements at the last hour. (The Up lights are 100% worth it!)
We couldn’t recommend Jesse more. If you’re looking for an all-around great DJ with incredible range and who will treat your event like it’s a family wedding- then Jesse is your guy!

We can not recommend Jesse enough!! The music was by far one of the most important things to us. We wanted to make sure our music and over all vibe was something everyone of our guests could enjoy, and Jesse and Roberto knocked it out of the park! It was an absolute pleasure working with Jesse throughout the entire process. He was helpful, professional, responsive and kind. He was worth every penny, and I would easily recommend him to anyone. We have never seen so many people out on the dance floor at one time, no one wanted to leave, he even had people who rarely dance out on the floor. PLEASE, do yourself a favor and hire Jesse to be your DJ you won't regret it! He helped us and our guests have the best night! -

Jesse was great, very helpful. We had dances we were performing for our guests and he edited songs for us even on the day of the wedding we needed last minute song edits and he did it with no problem. He help out a lot. Not only was he helpful and making things stress free with the music but he also gave us questions we didn't even think to ask him and for our reception location. He's great, I 110% recommend him, very responsive through text and always made time to get on a call with us when we want to go over things, just great. He did not fail us at all. He listened to what we wanted, he understood and made it 100 times better. Also wanted to mention, his assistant was amazing and very helpful as well. -

Above & Beyond
DJ El Jesse went above and beyond in meeting our expectations for our wedding day. He was very easy to work with, genuinely interested in having us be collaborators with him. Our wedding included traditional Arab drummers and DJ El Jesse seamlessly incorporated their performance into his set. He was also very gracious and accommodating when we made last minute changes that affected the space he had for his equipment. I will continue to recommend him to anyone who asks. -

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to have Jessie as our wedding DJ! From start to finish, he was nothing short of amazing—professional, attentive, and incredibly talented. Jesse went above and beyond at our wedding. I had seen many reviews about Jesse and know individuals who have used Jesse for their weddings and all have spoken so highly of him. Even prior to the event, Jesse was very approachable, always available to chat. He often checked up on us leading up to our special day. He took the time to understand what our vision was for the reception and helped us develop a timeline for the day’s events. Jesse did an amazing job blending different genres to entertain the different cultures of our guests. As we awaited to be announced into the ballroom, Jesse did an amazing job hyping up the crowd, not just for us, but for the entire bridal party. Jesse also assisted in providing MC services, making announcements both in English and in Spanish. Over a week later, and we are still hearing from friends how much they enjoyed the wedding. The dance floor was packed from the very first song. Our guests were dancing so long that many even told us how they did not get to finish their dinner or desserts because they did not leave the dance floor. My wife and I had an amazing time and Jesse came through with the songs we requested to end the night. And our favorite part, the additional service Jesse offers: the dancing on the clouds. It created such a wonderful experience for our first dance. My wife felt like she was a Disney princess during the first dance. I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed having Jesse as our DJ. Simply put, Jesse was the best choice for our special day. As many others have commented, you cannot go wrong with Jesse. -

We absolutely LOVED working with Jesse for our ~140 person wedding! From the beginning he worked tirelessly to get to know us and what we were looking for throughout the day. He coached us through the planning process to carefully help us craft a reception that fit our dreams and goals. It was important to us to have Spanish and English emcee features throughout our day and Jesse totally delivered! He customized both our dinner and dancing playlists and we got tons of compliments from guests with how much they loved the music and DJ energy throughout the night. While planning, we met with Jesse multiple times and he gave us so much helpful information from his experience to both organize the reception and throw an incredible party! Let me start off by saying BOOK HIM! My husband and I got married back in late July and we wanted to find someone that can play music from both cultures. He did a PHENOMENAL JOB! Jesse was super organized and really cared about our wedding going as smooth as possible. We added the dancing in the clouds and it was beautiful for our first dance, I highly recommend! We also were able to create a playlist together that was amazing for all of our guests. Jesse really listened to what we wanted and personalized the music to us as much as possible! Calling DJ Jesse amazing is an understatement.
Nine months before our wedding, we contacted DJ Jesse, and he was extremely professional and responsive. After signing our contract, he provided several Spotify playlists to cater to our multicultural tastes. He also offered to serve as the MC, showcasing his unmatched skills.
DJ Jesse flawlessly blended Salsa, Merengue, Dembow, Soca, Reggae, Afrobeat, and Hip-Hop, impressing guests of all ages and backgrounds. In the months leading up to the wedding, he was always accessible and collaborated with our family for surprises and live music. This communication allowed us to create a precise timeline, with multiple backup plans.
However, our wedding faced unexpected downpours 15 minutes before the outdoor ceremony. Despite this, DJ Jesse's swift, nimble, and attentive adjustments kept the event on track. His calm demeanor reassured us that we would still have the wedding of our dreams. With his iPad, he made numerous real-time changes, keeping guests entertained without them noticing any disruptions.
DJ Jesse's MC skills and ability to pivot ensured the night was a success. His expertise prevented potential issues, and we were grateful for his presence. If you're looking for someone to entertain your guests and adjust in real-time to achieve your wedding dreams, DJ Jesse is your guy!

Jesse really outdid himself! This is the DJ you want at your event. He made himself very available to us whenever we needed. Gave us great advice and made it clear that he was interested in us really enjoying our wedding day! Let me first start by saying Jesse is absolutely amazing to work with !! I’m so glad I found him as my DJ for the wedding. I just googled a bilingual DJ and he came up ! I def wasn’t sure at first because there were so many options, but I’m so glad I took the plunge and decided to book him ! From the beginning he was super attentive and always reached out to see if we had any questions or concerns. As the wedding got closer he always messaged to see if we had any questions or we needed any help with music choices. We also booked Jesse for the ceremony and everything turned out amazing ! He even showed up to a meeting we had a few weeks before the wedding when his baby had recently been born just a few days before ! If you guys are looking for a bilingual DJ and someone who will work with you and keep your dance floor full just do it ! Trust me you won’t regret it ! From the very beginning Jesse was always super helpful & informative. He took the time to meet with us virtually & in person & was always open to all of our ideas, big or small! He’s a true professional & his experience in this field really helped put a lot of pieces together for us on our big day. He always offered great advice & made sure we were comfortable with his services & how the day would go! Jesse was even gracious enough to mix our intro songs for us & our First dance which had a salsa mix!! On the big day !!from the music in our ceremony to our reception it was everything we could imagine. Jesse made sure to incorporate all the music genres we requested & songs and made sure the party stayed bumpinnnnnnn!! Jesse was easy to contact, friendly, attentive, and professional. He helped make our wedding truly special. We had some issues with rain early on in the day, and we needed to change the location of the ceremony and the location of the dinner. Jesse had a plan of action ready and carried it out by coordinating with the staff without even having to bother us with it. Cannot say enough good things about Jesse! The original dj we booked canceled about a month before our wedding, so with a few weeks to go we were scrambling around looking for someone else. Thankfully, a friend recommended DJ El Jesse and although I'm pretty sure the weekend of our wedding he was planning to take off, he made some adjustments and agreed to help us out. I honestly think the first dj's cancellation was a blessing because Jesse was hands the best DJ ever. With only a couple of weeks to plan, he was able to blend our wide ranging music tastes -my wife is biracial and my family is Ecuadorian - and he had everyone on the dance floor all night. Jesse is extremely professional, organized, reliable and would communicate with us often making sure everything was perfect. We are still getting compliments today on how great the music and party was and it's all because of Jesse. If anyone I know needs a DJ, I will always recommend you - thank you so much Jesse! -

D J brought the house down with the music at our wedding. Although we booked him and arranged everything from another state, NC, everything was flawless. The organization and communication was top shelf. The music was great and kept our guest dancing until the very end, the photo booth was also enjoyed by all. Look no further, this is your DJ! My husband and I hired him to be the DJ for our wedding in October. The music at our wedding was definitely a priority for us..so picking a DJ was a big decisión. We are BEYOND satisfied with DJ Jesse’s professionalism and talent. He is very easy to work with, has awesome communication skills and will no doubt keep the crowd dancing all night long!! He is also super flexible and will work with you to tailor the playlist to your liking. We are still getting compliments on how fun the party was. My husband and I could not have picked a better DJ for our wedding reception. My family is Colombian/Salvadorian and my husbands family is Italian American. He blended the music of both cultures perfectly and the dance floor was never empty! We had family and friends of all ages up and dancing for the entire night. To this day, our family and friends still rave about how much fun they had because of DJ El Jesse! -

Amazing DJ!!
Where do I begin?!! DJ Jesse was such a pleasure to work with. He is a true professional! And man does he get the crowd going. Our reception was fun, upbeat & amazing! The dance floor was full the whole entire night. Even to the point where he had to play one more song even after the party ended because no one wanted to stop dancing. From beginning to end he was detailed, reliable & truly took his time to sit down with us & really listened to how we wanted our music for our special day. He made things run so smoothly with his kindness & patience. And even though the majority of our guests were hispanic, he played not only music to please them... but all different cultures that we had at our wedding. Salsa, bachata, reggae, house, pop, r&b...you name it he played it!! 💃🏽 Our wedding reception was definitely an unforgettable one! And its all thanks to Jesse! We would definitely recommend him for any event. Thanks again Jesse for making our wedding so much fun!! -

This review is long overdue, I can't recommend him enough! I knew we wanted him for our wedding from the amazing reviews we got from a friend that was raving about him! I am a music lover so I wanted a DJ who would understand what kind of mood I was trying to create for my wedding. He was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. He was always so responsive in all my inquiries and requests. He cared about the smallest of details. He took the time to meet with us and get to know us before the wedding to discuss and review the details and timelines. He was so easy to work with. We had the photo booth and tv options. My family and friends loved the photo booth they are still raving about it! The TV added a nice personal touch. His professionalism and experience were evident throughout. Everyone had such a great time, which was really the most important thing to us. Family and friends had so much fun dancing all night! DJ El Jesse was honestly one of the best decisions we made. He did a great job and played all the music that I requested. He also helped me work with my vendor who were dancers to make sure all of the various timelines aligned perfectly, so I never had to worry on my wedding day since everything was planned out to the tiniest detail.The night flowed really smoothly. We felt very good about everything. Thank you DJ El Jesse for making my wedding Day phenomenal! -
