As a photographer who has documented over 300 weddings, I have worked with my fair share of planners - and there is nobody I get more excited to work with than Dawn and her extraordinary team. Not only does she do a SPECTACULAR job creating fun, interesting, and cool custom designs while also managing all of her clients’ needs, she also is so on top of managing all her fellow vendors respectfully and effectively. She has always been the best in Brooklyn (that’s why she is on almost every preferred vendor list in town!!!) and now that she is bicoastal in LA, too, she gets to expand her absolutely amazing business - but also that means you should book her ASAP before somebody else nabs her.

We hired Dawn as a month of planner for our October 2024 wedding, and it was probably the absolute best choice I made for our day. Dawn was extremely efficient, organized, and kind throughout the entire process. I cannot imagine going through the planning process without her! Special shout out to Martie! Martie was with us for our big day and was an absolute lifesaver. She was prepared and calm throughout the entire day! Between Dawn and Martie I really felt that our day was taken care of. It allowed me to relax on the day of, instead of worrying about set up/vendors/other details.

Dawn was our month-of coordinator for our wedding/rehearsal dinner and her service was invaluable! From the very start during our initial consultation call she helped us problem solve logistical concerns. She also went above and beyond in the months leading up to our wedding. Month-of, she provided insight only a seasoned professional can provide. Everything was so expertly planned and detailed thanks to her. On our wedding day, we worked with her team: Martie, Ines, and Olivia. They were also AMAZING! Martie even stitched my dress when it ripped. The day went flawlessly thanks to Dawn, Martie, Ines, and Olivia!

We just got married last night at The Bowery Hotel and Dawn designed and managed the entire wedding weekend. I can’t say enough good things about Dawn - she is highly professional, creative, good humored, and extremely organized. On top of all that, Dawn made sure we stayed on budget and was more careful with our money than I was. Our wedding was perfect in every way and our guests raved. She is a gem.

Dawn is the BEST! She was recommended by a friend and we are so lucky for the recommendation. We hired Dawn Mauberret for month-of coordination for our wedding at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and she was wonderful! She came highly recommended from our photographer and we’re so glad that we hired her. Dawn is extremely organized and so responsive. She is also very savvy and knows how to pull all of your vendors together to create a seamless flow of events. Kyana worked with us on-site on the wedding day, and she was amazing! We hired Dawn as our day of coordinator and she did an excellent job. From preplanning to the actual event, she kept us focused and made the process fun! On our wedding day there was a minor issue involving menu items we had discussed with venue. Dawn stepped in and handled the situation with ease, which really took a load off for us. She also helped the dj when he was working out the kinks on his soundsystem. In short, Dawn rules! Hiring her will definitely make your day run smoothly!

When our day (finally) arrived, Dawn managed EVERYTHING: rehearsal, schedules/ timelines, vendor communication, setup/ takedown and so much more. Leaving myself, the wedding party, friends, and family there to just enjoy being together and to celebrate! Dawn Mauberret Events was the single most important and best spend for our wedding, the day just wouldn’t have been as seamless or easy without her.

I got married in August, and frankly don’t know how it would have happened without Dawn’s hand. She had so many creative and unique ideas when I was formulating the plan that ended up making the ceremony and party feel so exactly and authentically “us.” She was always available to bounce ideas and had so many great connections and resources.
