Crizen is great! A true professional! My husband, who is pretty picky and prefers a more natural look, would not stop raving about my hair and makeup on the wedding day. I looked way better than my daily self but still looked like myself. To me, that is the ultimate goal of wedding makeup.

With seven bridesmaids, my mom and me, Crizen and Ashley were asked to do nine completely different hairstyles on very different hair types, and all came out flawlessly! Everybody was thrilled with their hair and makeup, and thanks to Crizen, I couldn't have felt more beautiful on my wedding day. I first hired Crizen to do my hair and makeup for engagement photos. According to friends and family, I had never looked more beautiful. (I have to agree!) The soft curls I wanted held up all day and the makeup was natural, yet enhanced what I consider my best features.

I am African-American without a relaxer and finding someone who can execute perfect and contemporary hair styles can be a challenge. After success with the engagement photos, I was confident that Crizen would be the best person do everyone's hair on my wedding day. She gave me, my mom, my two sisters, and my mother-in-law exactly what we each wanted. Everyone looked amazing, unique, and most importantly, their looks lasted all day and night.

Crizen became my primary hair stylist and I appreciate the attention she gives each individual client. You are in and out quickly and don't have to give up half your day for an appointment. I would highly recommend Crizen for any and all future hair and makeup needs.

Crizen is a constant professional, charming, easy going, and an obvious expert in her field. She was a godsend to have at my destination wedding in Mexico. There was some mulling over if I should hire someone to come with me to my wedding in Mexico or just deal with the available talent in the resort. I was glad of my decision to hire Crizen and have her travel with me. We started with discussions about skincare, hair styles, and an amazing trial. I have extremely sensitive skin and was worried about breakouts with certain make-up. Crizen was more than willing to try different products regarding my skin issues. We also discussed extensively about the weather and humidity with staying power of make-up and not melting away. We had a trail in which we tried make- up products on with staying power and amenable to my sensitive skin. We were able to find the correct products to make my wedding day perfect. With Crizen traveling she was able to do my hair and makeup for rehearsal dinner. She was also able to change my hair from ceremony with romantic big beach waves to reception with an edgy up -o so I could dance the night away. She stayed on time and kept me on time which is a task on its own. Another treat was she gave my husband a haircut the day prior to wedding which he really appreciated looking his best as well. She is excellent with men haircuts! Destination or not, Crizen is your secret weapon to looking spectacular on your wedding day.

Crizen's work is absolutely amazing! She is professional, thoughtful and talented. She is truly a hair expert and I am always beyond satisfied with the outcome. On my wedding day, she was able to add in loose curls with clip-in extensions for a perfect look that held together the entire day. I am so grateful I had a hair stylist I could trust for my special day. I would recommend her to anyone!

I was a bit nervous about having someone do my hair and makeup. The handful of times I've gotten hair and make up done in the past, I've not been happy with the outcome. Too much hairspray, too much product, too overdone! This was a completely different experience. Crizen totally understood what I was after, and delivered! She believes in working with one's natural beauty, and that's exactly how I felt when she was done--like a prettier, more glammed up version of myself! My final look was finished but not caked on, my hair was shiny and curled, but not stiff. Crizen made me look and feel beautiful! Wish I had the funds to hire her every time I went out!

Crizen did an exceptional job for my hair and makeup on my wedding day and rehearsal dinner. She listen to exactly what I wanted but also gave me some ideas. I didn't want too much makeup for my wedding day but she said putting little bit more would come out nicely on the pictures and she was absolutely right. My makeup looked so natural and came through so beautifully on the pictures. For my hair, I brought pictures but with her creative style, she put a spin on it and made me look elegant. She would do things that wasn't required for her job. She touched up on my aunt's hair and makeup, who flew in that morning.

I would definitely recommend Crizen for hair and makeup! I was very ecstatic with my look on my wedding day and rehearsal.

Crizen did hair and makeup for my wedding and she was simply incredible!! Not only did she listen and give me exactly what I wanted, she also did a lot of unexpected things for me. For example, she suggested that we schedule my trial right before my wedding shower so that I would be all done up for my shower. And even though I had an up-do, she took it down and gave me a beautiful down do for the shower. She's also incredibly efficient - she had to get 5 bridesmaids hair and make-up, plus my mother AND my grandmother done by 10 am on my wedding. She came to my home on my wedding day which was so great. Not only did she finish everyone's hair and make up on time, but it was seriously the most pleasant experience. None of us felt rushed, and she even helped calm my nerve with her great sense of humor and fun. I really loved everything Crizen did for me and I feel like I looked naturally beautiful on my wedding day because of her.

I recommended her to my cousin who also hired her for her wedding. I even go to Crizen to get my hair cut and I get compliments about my style all the time. I highly recommend her for ethnic brides (I'm Asian), anyone with a large wedding party and people who are serious about getting quality service. You will be so happy with the end result - I know I was!

Crizen is AMAZING to work with. She is not only extremely professional and creative, but incredibly friendly and fun. I enjoyed my hair trial and liked what she did, but in between the trial and the wedding I saw some other hairstyles that I loved and asked if she could do it. Not only could she, she did it perfectly! Crizen is like the hair whisperer. She knew my hair texture and abilities, and probably even knew how I wanted it to look before I even did. You give her a lukewarm description, maybe a few photos like I did, and she works her magic. Same goes for makeup. I'm not very good at describing what I want I realized, but she knows what questions to ask you to ensure you love the makeup. I felt comfortable with it looking natural but was incredibly impressed with how she knows just how to work the makeup so it looks fabulous in photos. I had 5 bridesmaids and 2 MILs but we started on time and Crizen seamlessly finished everyone's hair AND makeup with time to spare. I don't know how she does it, but one by one each woman looked as lovely as can be and we spent much of the extra time gushing over how fabulous everyone looked and taking photos. Crizen truly is an artist and extremely creative, especially when dealing with such a huge variety of hair types. You don't get married often ;) so if you want to look as stunning as possible, work with Crizen because she will make you look and feel beautiful.

Crizen is, in one word, amazing! I am lucky enough to have Crizen as my regular hair stylist. I think that made such a difference, because she was able to cut and color my hair for months in anticipation of how I'd wear it on that day. We played with the cut, played with the color, and even bought my (crazy long) extensions to have them cut and colored to perfectly match my hair!

Beyond her amazing talent with hair and makeup, she's just the sweetest, most sincere person ever. I always look forward to my 2 hours of chatting in her chair each month, and she's exactly the person I wanted to make me look and feel beautiful on the day of my wedding :)
