We had our wedding 9/7/24 at smith farm gardens in East Haddam CT. I was provided many preferred caters from the venue and after doing countless amounts of research and scheduled phone calls, I found the perfect one, coastal gourmet. I truly don’t even know where to begin when it comes to talking about such an amazing group of people. From our initial phone call with coastal gourmet and having Jenna Landon as our event planner, we knew we were in the absolute best hands. Jenna even took the time to meet us in Rhode Island at peak rentals so I can physically see all the linens, flatware and dishes all placed on tables, etc. (I’m a big visual person lol). Our wedding was everything we could’ve hoped for and more. Jenna truly helped make our vision come to life. Her attention to detail, professional and organizational skills are unmatched. We had anticipated a little rain but not nearly as much as it had actually rained. Jenna was literally on the phone with me trying to calm me down (because my entire wedding was outdoors) and literally bent over backwards calling endless amounts of vendors to ensure I had a backup sailcloth tent and had this all booked for me less than 12 hours before my wedding. All the staff at coastal gourmet, from bartenders, to wait staff to chefs including Jenna herself were literally soaked but still managed to make sure my husband and I had the absolute most amazing wedding possible as well as to make sure our guest were comfortable and having a blast. Of course with the rain, we had to go a little off schedule with timing of dinner and coastal gourmets flexibility was flawless- it was as if nobody even knew what was going on. Brittany- my bridal attendant for the night was also outstanding. She ensured my husband and I were taken care of the entire night, making sure that if we needed anything, she would Ensure we had it instantly. The food was phenomenal. Literally all of our guest had nothing but amazing things to say about the entire catering company. We are forever grateful for you guys and will miss working with you all! Thank you for going above and beyond for us on our special day. If you are throwing a wedding, do not think twice about hiring this company - I ensure that you will not regret it.

We used coastal gourmet for our wedding a few weeks ago and we could not have been happier! Jenna was so easy to work with, very responsive and organized, she really helped bring our vision to life. Wedding planning is stressful but Jenna makes it way easier. I was worried about the weather leading up to the wedding, but she had a rain plan all set and it worked out perfectly. Day of the wedding I didn’t have to worry about a thing, she and coastal gourmet took care of everything! We had so many compliments on how delicious the food was and how big the portions were. Can’t forget our bridal attendant Britt, she was great, we never had to ask for anything. We had the best day and were so thankful we chose Jenna and coastal gourmet!

We are so grateful to coastal gourmet. Our venue had a choice of a few catering team we could select. From the first call with Jenna it was clear Coastal was going to be the team we trusted. Jenna took the time to help us plan the menu we envisioned, explain everything from cost to planning, day of timeline. We felt so comfortable in trusting her and coastal to make our day what we imagined.
The entire wedding planning process was so easy, coastal has so much experience in the wedding industry and at our venue. The level of expertise and help continued through out the entire planing process and day of our wedding. On our wedding day Jenna managed deliveries from multiple vendors with ease the venue and the day came together exactly as we imagined without us needing to step in for anything. We have received countless compliments from our guest about the coastal staff, the food and the bar service. Everything tasted great came out hot and portions were large. Our bridal attendant introduced herself before the ceremony and was on top of our needs all night. We highly recommend coastal gourmet!
