Clemencia Bridal was recommended to me by the bridal salon where I got my dress and I’m so glad I got my tailoring done with her! My dress was a little snug around the hips and had an all-lace back that I wanted to have reinforced so it stood flush against my back. I also needed a bustle and I was hoping for one that would complement the lacing of the skirt. Clemencia was warm and welcoming from the start, and she took great care to make sure the dress fit me perfectly. There were details I hadn’t even considered, like hemming the lace trim on the sides of the dress so I wouldn’t step on it, and she made those changes flawlessly, sewing with the pattern of the lace so her changes were invisible. The lace back was perfect, and the bustle accentuated the shape of the dress beautifully. There were some buttons in the bustle that looked odd on the hanger, but the dress looked perfect as soon as I put it on. As if that weren’t enough, Clemencia is incredibly kind and delightful to talk to. Clemencia is a very talented and experienced seamstress and I highly recommend her to any bride!

After my daughter bought her gown at Carine's Bridal , we were very disappointed in how inflexible they were in scheduling my daughters alterations. She lived in NYC and would be in DC 3 times before the wedding and they couldn't accommodate any of the dates. In a panic, we asked around and got Clemancia's name from our totally awesome Bridal Hair by Ramona Soleimani. We were 100% blown away by her workmanship and professionalism. She met with us all 3 dates and we loved her so much we decided to bring her along to the wedding at the Greenbrier. She had a way of taking all the stress away and we knew she would make my daughter and the entire bridal party look like royalty. One of the bridesmaids needed her dress hemmed the morning of, one groomsmen tux was in al ball , and my dress needed some last minute repair and she took care of everything without even asking.
