String Poets Quartet is a group of premier musicians based in the Washington, D.C, area. This collective has a rich history, playing in venues throughout the neighboring states of Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. For close to 15 years, this collective has been serenading their clients, creating a tailored performance to suit the tastes of each couple. From soulful ballads to romantic sonnets, these versatile artists are here to play it for you.

The Best Ambience

String Poets set the tone from the moment my guests arrived until the end of cocktail hour. Their play list and style was beautiful and timeless. It made the wedding feel like a fairy tale or an episode of bridgerton. They were professional throughout the entire process, and everything ran smoothly.

Solid wedding string group

We hired the string poets to play 3 songs for aisle walk. Of the 3 songs, 1 was new and 2 they already knew. The String Poets team did a great job communicating the entire time, and showed up with professionalism. They also did a great job on the new song they learned. Overall I'd highly recommend them!

Perfect String Trio for our Wedding!

We couldn't be more pleased with our experience with String Poets. We asked them to play for our vow renewal ceremony, and they were absolutely perfect for our event. I requested some somewhat unusual songs which wouldn't normally be played in a wedding (such as the Avengers theme for our recessional!), but which made the ceremony special and meaningful for us. Radhi and the wonderful musicians at String Poets accommodated my requests with no hesitation. They also helped me put together a contract that fit my specific needs and budget. Having them provide music for our ceremony really allowed my true vision of our wedding ceremony come to life - which was even more meaningful after our original plans had to be dramatically changed due to COVID. I teared up hearing them playing when I got ready to walk down the aisle. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you!

Unbelievably Beautiful!

String Poets provided 3 hours of exceptionally beautiful and exquisite music for our Dec 29, 2021 Gramercy wedding. I worked with Radhi who was Unbelievable!! They were responsive, played beautifully and very professional. I asked if they would play accompanying music to my daughter who sang the first dance and it was so beautiful! Each song was moving, perfectly orchestrated and just SO beautiful. Their sound is magical and added the most elegant touch. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND engaging them as they added that special touch that will last a lifetime!!! The best!!!
Thank you for the most elegant and gorgeous night of music, it was a dream come true.

Simply breathtaking!

String Poets were absolutely amazing! We received so many compliments about having live strings over recorded. It added to the scene even more having them! In addition, I had two songs in mind for them to play and they willingly made those songs into strings only! I highly recommend hiring them for your wedding!

String Poets are phenomenal!

The String Poets were really fantastic for my wedding. They played gorgeous ceremony music and fun cocktail music afterwards. Perfect for any setting and event! Radhi was wonderful to work with and they really do a great job. I 10/10 recommend!

Perfect Ceremony

Having a string quartet gave our ceremony an incredible touch of elegance. Watching my bride walk up with her father to a beautifully played live version of a song she chose will forever be an amazing memory. String Poets were easy to work with, and were perfectly happy to play the songs we selected.

Great Guitar & Violin Duo

We hired String Poets for our outdoor ceremony music and couldn't be happier. We had a couple of pieces that we wanted incorporated, and they suggested a guitar and violin duo (we were limited to two musicians at the site). That combination worked beautifully, and String Poets were responsive and easy to coordinate with. We highly recommend them.

We first hired The String Poets 6 years ago for my oldest daughter's wedding in Newark, DE & were blown away at the quality of their music & their professionalism. Last night, they came all the way to Wilmington, DE & played for my youngest daughter's wedding. Once again, they were outstanding, not only did they play beautiful ceremony music, but they played a diverse & fun mix for the cocktail hour as well. We had so many positive comments (some from professional musicians in attendance). I highly recommend this group!
