String Quartet of Northern Virginia is a woman owned, musician operated small business featuring elite, professional musicians who perform in the DC metro area's top orchestras and ensembles. We strive to make your special day unforgettable by providing beautiful live music that enhances the atmosphere of your celebration. Our musicians will work with you directly to plan every aspect of your ceremony and reception music and our custom curated musical selections will be performed at the highest level during your celebration.
Services Offered
String Quartet of Northern Virginia performs various musical genres including classical, romantic standards, movie/tv/Broadway favorites, jazz, rock and pop. The string quartet is comprised of two violins, a viola, and a cello, and we will perform as a duo or trio when requested. We have a repertoire of more than 1000 pieces and are happy to learn new songs to provide a personalized entertainment experience. Our wedding ceremony package includes music before, during and after the ceremony with additional packages to include cocktail hour and dinner reception music. Our fees include email, phone and online consulations with a quartet member, and travel to and from the venue (up to 35 miles each way from Alexandria, Virginia-out of area travel fees will be discussed during our booking process).

They plan a beautiful selection of music (you can occasionally get good musicians who play mediocre music for your guest ... but NOT this quartet!), played by accomplished musicians who will keep your guests feeling great and smiling themselves the whole time.
