We hired Buonasera Events for our wedding in the Santa Ynez Valley, and were very happy we did! Monica was incredibly friendly, communicative, and organized. We were impressed by the work she did both leading up to and on the day of our ceremony. She was instrumental in the organization and smooth running of our day. We would highly recommend her to everyone!

If you’re going to splurge on one thing for your wedding, please let it be Monica. I cannot stress enough how perfect She made my day. Somehow, I accidentally ordered one less of my table numbers that I needed, they Were made of wire and shaped like each number. Monica just happened to have some flower wire and made me the additional table number that I needed so my pictures would look complete and no guests would go without a table number. I would’ve been happy with the paper sign on the table missing the number, but Monica went above and beyond to create me something that matched what I had envisioned for my wedding. That is the kind of person she is a great example of the extra service she is willing to give you. My day went perfectly. Any hiccups that we had went unnoticed by most of my guests because of how professional and well Monica handled every situation including a medical emergency. SHE IS INCREDIBLE!!!!

Monica was the best wedding coordinator ever! We hired her as a day-of wedding coordinator and I will never forget when we signed the contract she said, “ I know it’s a day of coordinator but our work together starts now.” From then on, she was such a wealth of knowledge! She provided preferred vendors from staffing to officiant— many of which we went with and they were amazing. She always made herself available for questions which we truly appreciated.
The day of the wedding she was clear and concise with her direction for myself and the wedding party— exactly what you want for your wedding day so you don’t have to worry and can just soak the day up! Thank you so much Monica!

We could not have asked for a better wedding planner than Monica. She was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Monica went above and beyond the scope of wedding planning duties. She was in constant contact with us throughout the process and ensured we were on schedule with vendors. She also joined most of the calls and often followed up on our behalf. We met several times at the venue or offsite to go over details of our big day, and she even made a house visit to help bring decorations to the venue. She spent the entire day prior to the wedding organizing and installing all of the decor we rented or purchased.

On the day of the wedding, Monica made sure that everything ran smoothly. As a bride, you want to focus on being present and enjoying every bit of your day. I was able to do that largely because of Monica. She was the point of contact for our vendors, ensuring they knew when to arrive and what to do once they did. Not only did she take care of the typical wedding day checklist, but she also attended to me and my attire the whole day. Monica pinned up my dress when we noticed it catching on my heels, helped with my various shoe changes throughout the night, and put my mind at ease more than once! The next day we had to go back to the venue to clean and pack up a bit; when we arrived, Monica had already gathered everything into one spot so we could easily pack up our car.

We planned our wedding in a little under a year, moving across the country during the process. We wouldn't have been able to do that without Monica. She was flexible with our evolving thoughts, available anytime we needed her, creative with our wild and partially-formed ideas, and always such a pleasure to work with. We feel so thankful that Monica was a part of our team!

Monica is a literal super human angel! We hired Monica for month of coordination services and it was the best decision we ever made! Everyone warned us to be prepared for things to go wrong on your wedding day, but thanks to Monica, nothing went wrong, and we had the most perfect stress free wedding! She checked in with us throughout the year and made sure we were moving along and had all of our bases covered. When the month of came, she was available and super responsive to all of our questions and concerns. She reached out to all of our vendors to make sure they were all on the same page. When it came to wedding weekend, she was phenomenal! Everyone in our families and wedding party kept commenting on how wonderful and helpful she was. Every event we had planned went according to plan, and ahead of schedule in some cases! It was really great getting to sit back and actually enjoy our wedding day. If you are considering hiring a coordinator - do it, and make sure you hire Monica!

Monica was a great addition to our wedding. As a type A person, she let me handle all the things I felt I needed to be in control of and made sure the week of a day of the wedding went smoothly, allowing me to relax.

Monica was fabulous on our big day! Not only was she our day of coordinator, she also did all of our florals which not only saved us thousands of dollars but looked absolutely stunning, even better than I ever imagined. She was enthusiastic, fun, and kept everything running smoothly. Monica was generous in letting us use some of her own decor items, was always very responsive when we had questions, sent recommendations, set everything up beautifully and aligned with our vision of the day. I honestly don't know how she was able to do it all.

Leading up to the big day, I would have loved a doc or template as I wasn't sure how to communicate details. I used a friend's template from when they got married and just took the lead there but would have loved direction so that is my one minor suggestion.

Overall we were so thrilled with Monica, highly recommend her services! Thank you for everything Monica!

We were just married 6/18/22 with Monica’s amazing help. We are not from the area so we relied on her a lot! Monica was extremely attentive and helped to facilitate communication with our vendors. She brought our overall vision to life and and I felt more than comfortable trusting her to make decisions for me, especially when the wedding fatigue kicked in and I just couldn’t make another decision! Monica took care of everything for us the day of and our friends and family absolutely loved her way of organizing everyone and everything during the busy day. Overall, our wedding day was not stressful and so much fun because of Monica! She is worth EVERY penny and more!!! I couldn’t imagine the planning and the day without her!

Monica is an amazing wedding planner who really brings her love and passion to her work. She is so friendly and always smiling, she helps everyone feel comfortable. You can tell she is really invested in what she does. She also stays on top of things and makes sure that everyone is on time!! This really helps so much as weddings are pretty chaotic. She made the day so fun and helped it be completely on track. Her smile is contagious.
