A friend recommended Brittany to me and I am so glad she did! Brittany is friendly, fun, and great at what she does. She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. My bridesmaids loved her too! She was always quick to respond for scheduling which is so valuable in a wedding vendor. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

I was in a pinch when the person I hired was put on bed rest for the remainder of her pregnancy and could no longer make my wedding. I turned to wedding wire and found Brittany less than 2 months from our wedding. She worked me in for a trial and I LOVED my day of look with her. She is so easy to talk to and communicate with and I could not have been more thrilled.

I had the best experience with Brittany! She has such a calm energy and that is something that was very important to me on my wedding day. She was very professional and accommodating toward myself and my wedding party. She did my hair and makeup and I can’t express enough how much I loved it all. She made me feel so beautiful! Hair and makeup is such a big decision and it’s so nerve racking but with Brittany you can’t go wrong!

Brittany and a colleague traveled to Durham to help my bridesmaids and myself get ready for my wedding and it was perfect! The timeline estimate, their easy-going, fun attitude, and the finished product were spot on. Highly recommend!

Brittany was a wonderful hair and makeup artist. My biggest issue was I was getting married at noon on a Sunday, and I only wanted hair/makeup for myself, maid of honor, and my mom. Given the time constraints and the fact that it was Sunday, AND all three of us were Asian (having Asian hair and features can be challenging to work with), I was worried I would either not find anyone and have to DIY, or pay $$$$.
I found Brittany, and I had a short trial- she was able to take my requests for changes and execute them day of. She was able to get all three of us ready in about 1.5 hours. Hair AND makeup for 3 women in LESS than 2 hours!! I was worried I would be late to my venue, but we had time to spare! Our hair and makeup stayed put throughout the day (it was about 85 F, typical NC weather) and my photos looked amazing. We all got the looks we wanted, and I had an amazing wedding day, partly in thanks to Brittany. I would absolutely recommend her.

I was very displeased with my makeup trial. The eyeliner had rubbed off when she put my lashes on, the eyeshadow was uneven and almost completely rubbed off of the outer corners, and the makeup wasn’t set with anything. I wasn’t wearing my glasses, so at first blurry glance I thought it was fine. I was annoyed that I was paying $100 for makeup that wasn’t even set, but I let it go. After I got in my car and put my glasses on and saw the final product, I was appalled. I went back in and asked her a few questions, and she told me that we would change it the day of. However, I feel like if I’m paying to get my makeup done, even for a trial, it should at least be wearable throughout the day. After some back and forth and giving some explicit feedback, my day of wedding makeup was much better which is why this is not a one star review.
