My husband and I did not have the most linear wedding planning process. 6 months before our wedding date, we found out that our venue was closing and we were going to have to find another venue to host our 240 person wedding. This is also around the time we met Chelsy with The Gathering Co. Despite the fact that we booked the event management package (for month of coordination), Chelsy and her team were there for us from the time we met until our wedding day. Chelsy provided recommendations for new venues to tour, read over every contract, negotiated with the venue on our behalf, and truly helped us to execute our most perfect day. We were even running over an hour behind on wedding day and neither my husband or myself ever felt this stress as Chelsy handled every bit of it with grace. We can't thank her and her team enough for all they did for us. She brought such positive energy to what had been a stressful wedding process. Can't recommend her and her team enough!

Deanna and The Gathering Co. were an absolute joy to work with! From the moment I met Deanna I knew I had to work with her and we immediately became friends! She made everything feel so special and made our day flow perfectly! Deanna went above and beyond to help make all of my visions come to life, she was very responsive, kind, and attentive. Working with The Gathering Co. for design and day of coordination was the #1 best decision we made for our wedding. We worked with Maddy and (I cannot overstate this) cannot recommend her enough.

Maddy was able to take a few inspiration pictures we had, add in her own suggestions while respecting our wishes, respond to my numerous requests to bounce ideas off of, and bring an amazing day to life. Her ability to manage everything, while keeping us within our budget, made us feel confident and stress-free during the entire process. And the day turned out beautiful, I cannot stress enough how many compliments we received specifically on both the design of the wedding, and logistics, a lot of which was directly her doing.

Logistically, her communication was fantastic—always quick to respond to emails, texts, and calls, which made the planning process so much easier. We do not live in state, and she was so helpful being able to coordinate things in lieu of us. She was incredibly organized, always had an answer to any question we had, and even went above and beyond by helping us solve last-minute logistics issues, sacrificing her personal time to make sure everything went perfectly. She is the sweetest and nicest human, not only was she a dream to work with, but she also kept the entire event on track while being warm and approachable to us and our guests.

I don’t think I can fully express how helpful it was to have the Gathering Co as wedding planners. The TGC team were such incredible partners throughout the whole process, from choosing a venue to selecting vendors all the way through to the day itself. I was dreading the stress of planning a wedding, and with the team’s help, I ended up with a wedding and experience that I would do all over again, exactly the same, no questions asked. The best feedback I can give is that, even though we felt like our planning team did all of the heavy lifting, we ended up with a day that multiple said looked and felt so much like us.

Chelsy, along with everyone that works at The Gathering Co, is truly amazing. My husband and I cannot thank her enough for making our wedding planning process and wedding day AMAZING. I had no stress and was able to fully enjoy every part of getting married. She is the best there is, it's as simple as that. Her design plans and creativity are perfectly tailored to you.
