Out of all the vendors I worked with, Laura is the one I would hire again and again and would pay whatever I needed to have her!!! I went with the lowest package, to have her as the day of coordinator. If I had to do it all over again I probably would have had her help me with planning as well 😅 she knows her stuff and knows the wedding vendors extremely well. She is so attentive to detail and thought of everything I didn’t know I even needed to do. She followed up with the vendors the week of so I didn’t have to, and created a schedule we forwarded to our parents and wedding party so they wouldn’t harass us the day of with questions. Not only that, but she is possibly the sweetest human on the planet and I’m happy to call her a new friend. Thanks a million for everything Laura. So thankful to have worked with you! 🥰

Laura and Brides on a Budget are incredible. Laura is incredibly attentive to detail and organized. She’s also unflappable in the face of wedding drama and stress. We had a long, complicated wedding day- starting with a Vietnamese marriage ceremony, followed by a Catholic ceremony, and finally the reception. Laura did an AMAZING job helping us plan our wedding. She was very communicative and transparent through it all plus a HUGE help as well. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner; she's awesome.

Kyle and I recently worked with Laura for our wedding on 2/1/2025. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her. We chose the “day of coordination” package however you get so much more than just that. Laura has several meetings with you prior to the day of to go over details, visions, your expectations, etc. Laura is so organized, making communication through email and google docs seamless. I had several family and friends comment how calm I was through the whole wedding process. I truly owe that all to Laura. She attended the meeting with our venue the month prior, she knew exactly what to ask them and how to keep the day moving smoothly. Laura always asks our opinion on how we want things, most the time I told her “I trust you.” Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect. It was so stress free. Everything went as scheduled. The venue was stunning. Laura is truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. She is worth every part of your wedding budget. My husband made a funny comment as we were reminiscing about our day, “the only person who was going to tell me what to do on Saturday was Laura!” Laura allows you, your family and friends enjoy your day. Her assistant Amber is incredibly kind, funny and wonderful as well. They are a power team!

I truthfully can't say enough positive things about Laura. We got married on 10/11/24 and worked with Laura for about a year and a half ahead of our wedding. She brought such a positive energy from the start, and took time to get to know us as people, not just as clients. She created a shared Google drive and a planning timeline personalized to us that was priceless - it kept us on track and made everything much less overwhelming. She was always quick to answer emails, including a couple late night ramblings after I'd been down some random rabbit hole. We worked with multiple vendors that Laura recommended, and we were very pleased with each of them. We also had Laura do day-of coordination. Her and her assistant, Gina, did an AMAZING job getting all our decor setup and working with our vendors, leaving us to sit back and really be able to enjoy our day. She took care of every little detail and really brought our vision to life! Laura provided such peace of mind from the beginning of the planning process through the end of the wedding day. She's worth every penny (plus some!)

Hiring Laura as our wedding coordinator for my daughter's wedding last month was the best decision we made during the entire planning process. We met Laura at an event at our venue over a year and a half ago and, as soon as my daughter and I spoke with her, we knew we wanted her to be a part of the wedding. When Laura told us that she would handle everything the day of the wedding and all questions would go through her so we could just enjoy the day, we were sold! Even though we only hired her as our day of coordinator, Laura provided so much guidance and kept us on track throughout the process. She shared recommendations regarding her favorite vendors and told us about the venue we used for the rehearsal dinner - Buck and Honey's in Monona - which we loved.
The week of the wedding, Laura reached out to all of our vendors and confirmed all of the details. She ran the rehearsal the night before (which was great since we had a very inexperienced wedding party) and gave everyone a detailed itinerary so they knew exactly where they needed to be and when. Most importantly, the day of the wedding, Laura ran the show. She dealt with all of the vendors and any questions and set up all of the decor with her assistant Amber (who was also amazing!) She kept everything on schedule and I was told by several guests that it was the most organized and on time wedding they ever attended. During the cocktail hour, the bride's dress strap broke and Laura and Amber whisked her into the bride's room to sew the strap back on and bustle her dress (a job I was dreading as it looked quite complicated). No one even knew about the wardrobe malfunction! Because of Laura and Amber, my daughter and I got to relax and enjoy the wedding day.
My number one piece of advice to couples starting to plan a wedding is to hire a coordinator. And if you are in the Madison area - hire Laura!
