As a wedding vendor ourselves (band), we work with a lot of different coordinators and it is important the vendors work together to create a special evening for our couples. Our band, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, worked hand-in-hand with Ian and Will for a wedding in September, 2025. The venue was a multi-building complex with ceremony, cocktail and reception all in different locations. As a vendor, that is a lot of mileage to walk in a day when bouncing around to where they are needed. They were ALWAYS available, easy to find, moving quickly, and kept everything on track when they could have fallen behind. Ian had an incredibly likeable personality to the guests that we saw firsthand when he navigated the guests between the buildings. We'd be lucky to work with them again!

Fater Fairytale Weddings was totally a 5 Star experience! The responsiveness and level of service provided was amazing. At times I wondered how Will could afford to devote so much time to speaking with us, answering questions, finding just the right vendors and solving any issues. Watching how he handled the planning, dealt with vendors, managed the day of both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding did so much to reduce our stress. Will & Ian were absolutely the best vendor choice we made in the entire wedding planning process! They made our day go by smoothly and even when things didn't go as planned, they problem solved quickly and efficiently, sometimes without us even knowing! They ensured our day ran on schedule as much as possible and everything got done. If I were to give someone planning a wedding one recommendation, it would be to 1000% hire Will & Ian! Our entire family loved having them there the whole day and our wedding wouldn't have been the special and amazing day it was without them! Highly highly recommend!!

I can't recommend these guys enough. They made our wedding the best day it could possibly be, and they worked with us SO much through the months leading up to it. Because of them, we were able to connect with some really great vendors and were able to create a wedding that was really 'us'. When we first ran into them, we were really skeptical about the idea of wedding coordinator in the first place, but I am so glad they convinced us, because they really made our wedding (and rehearsal dinner!) the best day of my life.

If I could give more stars I would!! After meeting Ian at WedPlan Madison I knew instantly I wanted him to be part of our day. I ran home to tell my fiance about him and we set up a call. We hit it off and even though we already had a planner booked, we agreed to have him officiate our wedding. He made our day the most special! Many guests thought he was a long time friend. This truly shows how much he cared to get to know us. On the day of the wedding Ian showed up early and was such a helping hand. We invited him to stay for dinner and celebrate. He did just that and stepped in whenever he could to help make our day special. When things were going array he stepped in and I believe truly saved the day and kept me sane! I cannot say enough excellent things about him. If I could go back and change one thing, I would have hired Fater Fairytale for all of our planning/coordinating services -As well as officiating.

Will & Ian were the best coordinators we could have asked for. Our day was truly a fairytale and it was thanks to them. The months leading up to the wedding they were on top of everything, making sure everything was getting checked off the list and offering assistance whenever we needed. Will created an incredibly detailed timeline for the day and they both made sure it was executed to a T come wedding day. When it came time for formal photos, Ian wrangled up my giant family and made sure photos got done in a timely manner and also made sure not to miss any specific photos we wanted taken. I had a very curated vision for the way I wanted everything to look in terms of decor and table settings and they made the vision come to life on our wedding day. I honestly cannot say enough good things about these two. They know what they are doing and they are phenomenal at it.

Will and Ian are absolutely fantastic - our day went off without a hitch thanks to both of them. They are both incredibly professional and organized and stay true to your needs as a couple. They're incredibly flexible with meetings and last minute changes in plans! They crafted a practically minute-by-minute itinerary for our day and worked hard to make sure that our wedding party and our guests were respectful of our time and wishes. They gave lots of encouragement before the ceremony when nerves were running high. Our reception was absolutely fantastic too - Ian was not kidding when he says that he becomes the "wedding photo drill sergeant" - he kept us all on task and helped get photos done quickly. Will was so wonderful during the reception too - he grabbed the bride a drink from the bar when she wanted some wine but couldn't get away from the task at hand, he helped the bride and grooms family with packing up items and decor towards the end of the night, and really made this the easiest day it could have been for the two of us as a couple. We truly can't sing their praises enough - we got numerous compliments from family and friends on how wonderful their services were, and I can say that for anyone that's on the fence about hiring coordinators - DO IT!
