I found Haydee on Instagram, I pretty much knew immediately she was who I wanted to hire for my wedding day. Thankfully she was available for my wedding date! (A miracle considering how long I waited to pull the trigger - don’t be like me who waited until 2 months before the wedding to find HMU.)

At my trial she really took her time to go through all the options and make sure I would be happy with the final look. She made great skincare recommendations that really helped me out, since my skin was super dry at the trial. By the wedding there was a drastic improvement and the makeup looked way better on me.

Also, her salon is SO cute. She did a great job setting it up, it was easy to find, and there was parking available.

The day of the wedding, Haydee and Paola did an amazing job. We had to start pretty early but Haydee’s timeline gave us some buffer in case there were any changes needed. My bridesmaids and I were all so happy with how our hair and makeup turned out. She gave us each a little touch up kit for the day which came in handy. I was so impressed with how the makeup lasted, too (I sobbed through my vows and once that was over you couldn’t even tell lol).

Wearing a significant amount of makeup can be intimidating, but Haydee made sure that the look remained true to "me." Haydee takes the time to carefully analyze your facial features and customize the makeup to accentuate your beauty. Not only did I receive compliments on my makeup, but my bridesmaids were equally thrilled with their looks too (which is a first in my extensive history of being a bridesmaid)! Another thing I have to mention is the longevity of the makeup. Even my eyelashes, a previous sore point in other weddings, stayed intact throughout the entire night!

Hair:
Haydee was really helpful in giving advice on preparing my extremely curly hair for the big day and we achieved the perfect beach wave.
