Booking hair and makeup services through Refined Beauty was one of the best decisions I made on my wedding day. April was our makeup artist and Dom was our hair stylist. Vicky was easy to communicate with and everyone was prompt and on time. Everyone that got their hair/makeup done on the day of the wedding looked absolutely incredible. Highly highly recommend!

Renee and her crew truly made this day very special for me and my bridesmaids. She made us all look gorgeous. They were punctual on arrival and were flexible with any adjustments that needed to be made throughout the morning. We were able to show inspo photos for her to recreate and they were spot on. My bridesmaid crew and I weren’t sure what Renee and her crew’s vibe would be like and didn’t know if they would vibe with our music but it was a total match. We had a blast chatting it up, listening to great music and getting to know each other. She had all the tools needed and was ready for anything. She was organized, set up and tear down was quick and clean. Tools and supplies were all clean. It was truly a great experience working with her. She was so accommodating with my needs and really went above and beyond to make my day so special. I felt like a true princess and so beautiful. She is the best!!

Pricing was very reasonable for the value of the service provided ! Highly recommend for the ease and comfort I was given throughout the process . Also , adding additional services was very easy !

Jill made me feel like the most stunning bride with the best-looking bridal party. I normally don't wear much makeup, and was worried about not looking like myself on my wedding day. I'm so glad I booked the trial and was so excited for the big day. Jill made all my dreams come true. My look held up flawlessly throughout the day, even with all the tears. My bridesmaids were so happy with their looks as well! If you're looking for a professional, responsive and easy-going make-up artist then Jill is your girl.

Hair and makeup was the vendor I was most nervous about when we first started planning our wedding. I don’t wear a lot of makeup regularly and I was worried I wouldn’t look or feel like myself on my wedding day. Andrea was recommended to me by a friend and I am SO happy I went with her. She took into consideration how I was feeling, what I wanted the day of, and made sure to consider my skin type. She even gave me a bunch of tips at the trial on how to prep my skin and they made a huge difference. The trial itself went wonderfully and the wedding day was even better. Andrea and her extra artists were fantastic, fast, and everyone in my bridal party loved their hair and makeup. I felt so beautiful and love how I looked in all my photos from beginning to end. I cannot recommend Andrea enough and now hope I have another event in the future where I need my hair and makeup done just so I can hire her again.

Heather and Tiffany from Shade & Strand were absolutely amazing — not just as artists, but as people. From the moment they arrived, they brought such calm energy and laughter to the room. It honestly felt like spending time with old friends who just happened to be incredibly talented. They listened, made thoughtful recommendations, and somehow managed to make each of us feel completely comfortable and beautiful in our own skin. Everyone looked stunning, and I truly believe their work — and their positive energy — helped us all shine in the photos. I’m so grateful we found them at the bridal fair. They were such an important part of our day, and I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Meleah was incredible! For our first dance, we chose a playful mash-up with some pretty tricky steps. The groom picked up the choreography quickly—he was a natural. I, on the other hand, struggled with timing, kept tensing up, leaning, and trying to lead instead of following. Despite all of that, our dance turned out beautifully and our guests absolutely loved it. Meleah did everything possible to help me feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident. She’s professional, kind, talented, and clearly experienced. I highly recommend her!

Cynthia is an awesome makeup artist and did my trial and wedding day makeup. She listened to my likes and dislikes and created a look that made me feel beautiful and like myself. She is so sweet and made my experienced amazing!

Dina, Rosy, and the SoCal Hair and Makeup team were absolutely FABULOUS! I cannot recommend them enough! I am SOOO thrilled they did my and my bridal party's (and mom's!) makeup! It turned it out so well and everyone looked absolutely stunning. They were so kind and helpful and worked with me to create the exact look I wanted! They also were perfect at working with all skin tones and hair types. As a woman of color, I felt so seen and taken care of! I highly recommend SoCal Hair and Makeup!

Breanne is fun, honest, professional, and exceptionally gifted at what she does. She was also super flexible when there were inevitable last minute changes and circumstances. Everyone looked stunning and their hair/makeup reflected their styles and personalities. So much fun! Highly highly recommended. You're going to love them!
