I found Haydee on Instagram, I pretty much knew immediately she was who I wanted to hire for my wedding day. Thankfully she was available for my wedding date! (A miracle considering how long I waited to pull the trigger - don’t be like me who waited until 2 months before the wedding to find HMU.)
At my trial she really took her time to go through all the options and make sure I would be happy with the final look. She made great skincare recommendations that really helped me out, since my skin was super dry at the trial. By the wedding there was a drastic improvement and the makeup looked way better on me.
Also, her salon is SO cute. She did a great job setting it up, it was easy to find, and there was parking available.
The day of the wedding, Haydee and Paola did an amazing job. We had to start pretty early but Haydee’s timeline gave us some buffer in case there were any changes needed. My bridesmaids and I were all so happy with how our hair and makeup turned out. She gave us each a little touch up kit for the day which came in handy. I was so impressed with how the makeup lasted, too (I sobbed through my vows and once that was over you couldn’t even tell lol).
I’d absolutely recommend Haydee to anyone in the San Diego/Temecula area looking for a HMU artist. -

Haydee and her team were beyond amazing for our wedding day! She did my hair and makeup, along with my bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and mother of the groom, and made each one of us feel so beautiful and special. I can't thank Haydee enough for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. One of my guests complimented me saying I looked like an ‘angel princess Barbie’—I couldn’t believe it! I’ve never felt so beautiful in my life, and it’s truly because of her incredible talent and the care she put into each of us.
Not only is she exceptionally skilled, but her calming presence was exactly what I needed on the morning of my wedding. She brought such wonderful energy that perfectly balanced out my own “energizer bunny” excitement! All my bridesmaids looked stunning, and their hair and makeup stayed flawless throughout the day. I cannot recommend Haydee and her team highly enough for bridal hair and makeup! From the moment we met, I knew I was in excellent hands. She took the time to really listen to my vision, offering expert suggestions while making sure everything stayed true to my style. Her calm, friendly demeanor made the entire experience so relaxing, even on a day that can easily feel overwhelming.
On the day of my wedding, Haydee completely exceeded my expectations. Not only did she make me feel like the best version of myself, but she also worked magic with my bridal party. Every single one of us looked stunning and, more importantly, felt confident and beautiful. My makeup lasted flawlessly through the entire day and night—through tears, dancing, and everything in between—and my hair stayed perfectly in place without feeling heavy or overly styled. We also shared some great laughs, conversations, and authentic interactions, which made the “getting ready” experience so much more positive and fun.

If you're looking for a hair & makeup artist who is not only professional and extremely talented, but will go above and beyond making you feel like the most beautiful bride, Haydee is 1000% your person. It truly felt like I was getting my makeup done by one of my sisters or friends, that's how comfortable she makes you feel! I had the absolute best experience with Haydee and her team. They made me and my bridesmaids feel so beautiful on my special day. We wanted light glam, more natural look- and it looked sooo good both in person and in photos.
I had a great experience with Haydee- she’s so talented and knowledgeable with hair and makeup, she listens to really understand your vision, she gave me tips for how prepare my hair extensions and recommended hydra facials to get my skin healthy and prepared, and she overall has a calming presence that made me feel so at ease on my wedding day.

Bridal By Haydee
From the beginning to the end, working with Haydee was an absolute delight! I gave her the challenging task of creating an "effortless yet glamorous" look, and she absolutely nailed it!
Makeup:
Wearing a significant amount of makeup can be intimidating, but Haydee made sure that the look remained true to "me." Haydee takes the time to carefully analyze your facial features and customize the makeup to accentuate your beauty. Not only did I receive compliments on my makeup, but my bridesmaids were equally thrilled with their looks too (which is a first in my extensive history of being a bridesmaid)! Another thing I have to mention is the longevity of the makeup. Even my eyelashes, a previous sore point in other weddings, stayed intact throughout the entire night!
Hair:
Haydee was really helpful in giving advice on preparing my extremely curly hair for the big day and we achieved the perfect beach wave.
Adding to the positive experience was Haydee's calm and collected demeanor. As a nervous bride, her professionalism, punctuality, and tranquil presence made for a stress-free morning :)

Best Bridal Stylist Ever!
I definitely recommend hiring Haydee and her team for your wedding day! They were so organized and efficient the day of and made sure all of us were satisfied with our hair and makeup before leaving. All of our hair and makeup lasted all night long, even after all of the tears shed and the dancing we did! Haydee works absolute magic, and I am so glad I trusted her to do my bridal hair and makeup. I had never felt so beautiful in my life, and seeing my bridal makeup for the first time brought tears to my eyes because it was that good! I hired Haydee through my wedding planner for my destination wedding, and although I only spent two days with her for my trial and then my wedding, I feel like I’ve known her for years.
Before even getting into the skill that this woman possesses, let me talk about something that I think is even MORE important in the wedding industry (I’m a photographer so I’ve had lots of experience). Personality and consistency.
Haydee carries herself in such a professional manner, without losing spunk, energy, and compassion. She has a calming presence that allowed me to chill out on one of the craziest days of my life, while still hyping me up and making me feel absolutely beautiful. I knew from her Instagram that her work would be consistent, which is so important during this kind of celebration, but she blew me away when my wedding day hair and makeup was even more perfect than my trial… Which I truly didn’t think was possible.
Now onto the sheer level of talent… Haydee knows her stuff. I was so impressed by her knowledge and how she was able to answer all of my questions and create the perfect foundation and hair for me. I gave her a general idea of what I liked, and then allowed her some creative freedom and she absolutely nailed it. My makeup and hair lasted through the entire night, despite some wind, rain, and happy tears. I also love how honest Haydee is. She listened to my opinions, but then used her expertise to guide me in the right direction. THIS is the kind of person you want doing your hair and makeup for the day. You may want blue eyeliner, but if it doesn’t really match the look or isn’t the most flattering, you’d want someone to tell you, right?!
I felt so trusting and safe while in Haydee’s care, and I’ll never forget how absolutely beautiful I felt on this monumental day, thanks to her. -

I enquired for Haydee’s services after my sister had her for her wedding a few years back. Haydee is incredible. She is extremely professional and VERY flexible. I changed my hair style from my trial to my wedding day and she encouraged the change because of the closeness to the beach and weather that day. She has a great talent of knowing what will work and will definitely express that opinion but will honor what the bride wants ultimately. I really appreciate her feedback because she is the professional in this field and going with her professional opinion was Thea Paul the best decision I could have made!

Amazing Experience with Haydee and her team!
I had a phenomenal experience with Haydee leading up to and on my wedding day! She is an incredibly talented makeup artist and hair stylist, and I would highly recommend her!
I found Haydee through my wedding planner and was immediately impressed by her Instagram and could see that she knew how to create a natural glam look. She captured my vision for my day super well during my trial and was also able to implement my (minor) feedback for the day of. I went for an old Hollywood S wave look for my hair, and the curls she achieved during my trial were *slightly* tighter than I would have liked. I let her know, and she pivoted, and they were absolutely PERFECT the day of my wedding. I don't wear a ton of makeup day-to-day and she was able to make me feel simultaneously glam and myself. I was so happy with my makeup during the trial and didn't change a thing for wedding day besides for my lipstick color.
Also, during my trial, I shared that I wasn't happy with my highlights and was looking to get them done differently. She had some suggestions for how I could make my blonde have more dimension/look more natural. I actually decided to come back to Haydee for my color before my wedding, and she actually did my highlights and lowlights twice before the wedding day, and my color looked amazing on the wedding day.
On the wedding day, Haydee and her team were professional, kind, and efficient. They did makeup for me, my 7 bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law. I don't think this happens a lot, but they finished ahead of schedule, creating a super stress-free day for me. My makeup stayed ALL night (despite 5 hours of dancing in June), and I loved the pictures I took at the end of the night as much as those from the start!
Cannot recommend Haydee enough!!! :) -

As someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup, I was a bit nervous about getting my hair and makeup done professionally for my wedding. I knew that I wanted to have beautiful hair and makeup, but I also still wanted to feel and look like myself. I expressed these concerns to Haydee during our phone consultation and she did an amazing job of listening to and acknowledging my concerns. She put me at ease and ensured me that my makeup would only enhance my natural features, and not try to make me look like someone else. Fast forward to my hair and makeup trial, Haydee listened to my concerns and took her time to explain each step she was taking as we put together my trial look! She was so understanding, never condescending and I remember walking out of my trial feeling so beautiful and confident in my decision to book her. Between the months of my trial and morning of the wedding, Haydee was always available via email or text to discuss any questions or concerns I had during the planning process. She was always so kind and helpful, and even created a hair and makeup schedule for me and my bridesmaids for the day of my wedding! The morning of the wedding, she arrived on time with her team and the energy they brought was definitely happy and fun :) My wedding look was a focus on glowy skin, warm eyes and soft waves for my hair. And let me tell you, Haydee did just that! My skin was GLOWING, my eye makeup was absolutely stunning and my hair was so gorgeous and soft. Every time I look at pictures of my eye makeup, I swoon! The whole look just turned out so stunning and beautiful! And the best part, I still looked and felt like myself :) Do not hesitate to book Haydee and her team! You will not be disappointed!!! I truly felt like a princess :) -

I first contacted Haydee about six months before my wedding and had my trial done before our engagement photos. She was very open and clear about her pricing and answered all my questions about available options. On the day of the trial she listened to my vision and helped me develop a natural glam style that looked beautiful and stayed on all day. At my actual wedding she and her assistant arrived on time and got my bridesmaids and me done perfectly on time. June Wedding
I am very picky with my makeup as I grew up around a lot of makeup as a dancer so my standards were high. I LOVED how Haydee made me look and feel. I told her I wanted an airbrushed look, very full coverage & dramatic & she did just that. She changed anything I didn’t like and was constantly asking me how I liked my look throughout the process. My makeup never felt too thick and stayed on the whole night. And it was pretty warm on my wedding day, I never got oily. My groom loved it as well. I have never felt more beautiful. I never wanted to take it off. She was also very fast with all of my bridesmaids, which was awesome. -

I used Haydee for my wedding hair/makeup and she absolutely crushed it! At my hair and makeup trial, Haydee completely understood the look I was trying to achieve. Haydee and her team were so easy to work with and very professional. My hair & makeup artist cancelled 3 months before my wedding and I was in a jam to find a new artist and Haydee totally came through!!! Looking back, I actually liked Haydee more than my initial hair & makeup artist and am so happy that it worked out this way. She made me feel so beautiful and GLAM! Amazing hair!
Haydee and her team were great to work with. They were very receptive to my feedback which I appreciated. It was helpful to have a hair and makeup trial, and I did make some changes and additions the day of. I have to say they exceeded my expectations on the day of! I still can't get over how amazing my hair looked. The makeup was on point too. The team was efficient and everything ran on time and on schedule. -
