The Northern and Southern Hemisphere rooms can also be combined to accommodate larger parties, with both offering access to the outdoor areas.

Magical Wallace Wedding

We had our rehearsal, wedding ceremony, and reception at Atlas 42 this past January. From the first meeting we had with Becca, we knew we found the perfect place! Becca never said no or not possible with what we envisioned. Our first meeting covered all of my concerns I had with planning a lot of the wedding. We will forever be encouraging people to use Atlas and sharing our positive experience! Atlas was exceptional with their food, decorations, professionalism, kindness, and customer service. Everyone who attended was impressed with all the staff they encountered, delicious food and drinks they had, and the overall atmosphere. Though a month after, I still have people telling me this was the best wedding they have been to! To Becca, Dawn, and all of the staff at Atlas 42.. I thank you for making the Wallace wedding day so magical and special. I love all of you and that fact that I could have Dr.pepper. :)

Stress-Free

Atlas fit my criteria of an easily accessible, reasonably priced option to complement the chapel I had dreamed of getting married in since I was a child. But, I received so much more. Becca was communicative and worked with me to plan a reception from the other side of North America. She handled everything in regard to the reception, from DJ recommendations to layout, menu recommendations and more. Many of my guests raved about the food (taco & pasta bar with ice cream and cheesecake dessert bar) and they accommodated everyone with allergies and even cooked enchiladas and brought in his favorite beer specifically for my now husband. Highly recommend for a stress-free experience.

Stress free best time of my life !!!

We picked Atlas 42 based on location, price and reviews. When we toured the venue we knew immediately this was the one! Working with Becca and day of Chelsea was nothing short of amazing! Becca communicated better than I could imagine. Being that I am a control type A, Becca allowed me to breathe and stood by her word that this would be an effortless planned wedding. And she was right! My husband and I sat down and answered all of her questions in regards to our dream wedding. Having a blended family and different cultures, she even created a special menu for us which allowed us to bring in the Spanish culture for our wedding. She handled talking to all of the other vendors so that I had nothing to do but sit back and get ready. The venue space is beautiful! I love the rustic look and feel with the barn style doors and the rustic tables. You have your pick of two different sides. We loved the side we got due to having a separate area for the ceremony which then turned into the dance floor. Our day of coordinator Chelsea was amazing! She literally did not play around (in a good way). I felt like she was my body guard at times. Which I loved! After we said our I DO, she walked us to a private area and brought us drinks and appetizers so we could have 10 mins to ourselves! To soak in what just happened and snack on some food before things got busy. When we took pictures, she came to check on us and make sure we didn’t need drinks or food. She kept to the time line too! Which really made the whole night flow well. When we had our first dance, she brought us plates of food and more drinks. When people tried to come up to us, she stood by and told them to give us a few minutes to ourselves and then we would be all theirs. I LOVED this! She took priority to us and making sure we ate and took care of ourselves! She even helped to make sure both of our kids were being taken care of. They both really felt like family! You can tell that through the process both Becca and Chelsea love what they do! It actually rained all day before our wedding. It did not stop until about 5 PM after we said I DO. Our pictures came out perfect in the back of the venue with the beautiful October foliage. I loved our experience here and will give is a million star reviews !!!

Such a good experience!

Atlas 42 was amazing for our wedding. Becca was our event coordinator and even though it was technically only for day-of, she and I exchanged emails for over a year during the planning process. We hired our DJ and officiant based off of recommendations from her! Atlas also catered our reception and made our cakes - they made everything gluten-free for me, which was amazing because I have Celiac disease and I was SO WORRIED about getting sick on our wedding day. We got a couple of extra portions of food to take with us after the wedding which was so nice to enjoy once we got to our honeymoon the next day. Overall, I was so impressed with our whole experience including the planning process. All of the staff were nice, professional, and attentive.

Atlas 42 was the perfect place for a wedding!

This was my second wedding, I'm an older bride, but my first wedding was at the Justice of the Peace. We had a small wedding with only 35 people. Becca is Atlas 42's wedding planner and she is the easiest person to work with. If I got stressed out or my anxiety got the best of me, she would answer my questions and put me at ease! I love how the area is set up so there can be 2 different parties at the same time. It was great to have the wedding, reception, cocktails, dinner, and late night snack, all provided at the same venue.

Everything we wanted

Atlas 42 was exactly what my husband and I wanted in a wedding venue. The modern, industrial design looks gorgeous and can be dressed up even with minimal decor. The food is delicious and the bar, games and sound system make for a great party atmosphere, no matter the event.

From the beginning to the end of the planning process, Dawn and Cristina were amazing. They were so organized and helpful. They made sure that we were happy and that our day was exactly what we envisioned, and more!

The day of the wedding went so smoothly and I was completely stress free. I had a huge scare when the strap on my dress broke during photos.. Dawn came to my rescue right away. She sewed my strap back together in minutes and no one ever knew! Cristina made sure everything ran correctly and on time throughout the day and she always made sure we were taken care of.

We'd do it again!

Dawn and her team took real good care of us! We rented the entire venue for our ceremony and reception. This was a huge factor in deciding our venue for the wedding, I didn't want our guests to travel to multiple places as majority of them were from out of town, which made their location heaven sent since it's located near 64W. Another bonus is the amount of hotels that surround the venue and its proximity to Short Pump! We utilized the venue for our rehearsal and opted for finger foods to be served once we finished our walkthrough of the ceremony. Any issue that we faced during the planning process Dawn tackled head on and made sure that everything was perfect for us. We used the Northern Hemisphere as our ceremony and reception space, the Southern Hemisphere as our cocktail hours space, and the gathering room as our holding room for the bridal party. The terrace/courtyard is where we took our wedding pictures, so many good angles are available! The only complaint that I have personally is that we didn't utilize the terrace space, however that's our fault and not theirs, we were so busy inside having such a great time inside! They have a wide variety of menu options for cocktail hour and dinner, we had the hardest time narrowing them down. For cocktail hour we had the fruit and veggie platters, meatballs, Thai egg rolls, and the chicken and waffles. All AMAZING! For dinner we did buffet style and chose chicken and fish with a side of mixed veggies and mashed potatoes. Delicious! Only complaint that I received from a few guests were about the size of the portions. They even handled our wedding cake and cupcake request!! We were having the hardest time finding a baker so when Dawn mentioned that they could handle that as well, we set up our tasting and that was it! Soooo good! The transition of the bridal party out of the gathering room and sneaking me in unseen was perfect! Flipping the ceremony space to the reception space they handled gracefully! Every employee I encountered that day had an amazing attitude! We are so grateful for them. We highly recommend Atlas 42 with no hesitation.

you won’t be disappointed!

I had a wonderful experience hosting our wedding here! Cristina was amazing! She was soooooo on top of EVERYTHING. I was able to reach out to her and get a prompt response every single time. I had a few last minute changes that were really stressing me out and she just swooped in and saved the day! What’s also important is how smooth the actual wedding and reception were! The staff at Atlas 42 were fun and friendly! People are still complimenting how wonderful our wedding was! We got our leftovers and they even saved our cutting cake and cupcakes, which was beyond thoughtful! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Jessica & Jeremy Wedding

Dawn and the entire Atlas 42 team was amazing! We could not have made it through this without them! Dawn was so supportive, helpful and fun to work with and was with me from start to finish. She reminded me of details I never would have thought and hosted everything to perfection. The rehearsal and wedding were perfect! The food was insanely delicious, the vibes were happy and light, and they all worked to make this day amazing for us. I would recommend Atlas 42 a million times over to anyone and everyone! Per the groom- "Our wedding couldn't have gone any better anywhere else! They had amazing food, a great drink selection and they put up with all our craziness! They were perfect!" Thank you Dawn and all of the Atlas 42 crew!

Making our dreams come true

As a couple who never envisioned or planned a “real” wedding, Atlas 42 made a dream we didn’t even know we had come true, from the ceremony to the send off. Dawn provided skilled patience, absolute dedication, and impeccable attention to detail. The supporting staff were professional, friendly, and accommodating. The food floored even the pickiest “foodies” from the Richmond/Charlottesville area (please try the lamb). We were lucky enough to stumble upon this venue and if you are too, you won’t regret it.
