On your wedding day, you need to feel confident knowing that your HMU artist understands your personality, vision, and insecurities - they have to be as much a therapist and friend as a talented artist. Ashley was and is all of these things and more! During our first call, she balanced business with getting to know me. I felt like she was working to make a genuine connection with me as her client to ensure she knew what I wanted and needed and to assure me that she fully understood. During my trial, she took her time and made adjustments as I gave feedback. She was kind, professional, and open to feedback throughout the entire experience. During the day of, she recreated my trial look, updated it, and improved it to make sure that when I looked in the mirror, my aforementioned insecurities no longer existed. Furthermore, when I felt myself becoming overwhelmed, Ashley talked to me and calmed me down. She guided my thoughts and breathing whilst never skipping a beat working on my hair and makeup. The end result was gorgeous (if I do say so myself!) - not overdone at all. She transformed me into an enhanced version of myself - exactly what I wanted and what I knew would make my husband-to-be melt! Ashley is the best of the best in every way. If you have the opportunity to hire her, I absolutely recommend her over and over, again! She knows how to make your makeup look good in-person and for the cameras, make you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself, and provides the perfect sense of balance and calm you need on your big day!

As someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup or do my hair generally, it was very important to me that I feel natural and comfortable. Ashley delivered a look that was exactly what I was looking for - natural makeup that made me look like the best version of myself, and an elegant hairstyle that made the most of my shoulder-length, fine hair. Could not be happier with the result.

I hired Ashley to do my bridal party's hair and make up in May 2018. She was fabulous. Not only does she have an amazing personality, but she is super professional, flexible, and does a great job. She worked things out for me when I decided to change my look at the last minute for the wedding. She was also extremely calm the day of when my family also decided to add services that were not part of the original agreement.
