Celebrate at Snug Harbor

We live in Westchester and drove out to Staten Island to see the grounds—and let me just say, it is absolutely worth the drive.

From the moment you enter the gates at Celebrate at Snug Harbor, you feel like you’ve been transported somewhere completely different. The property is stunning and feels almost unreal in the best way.

We chose the Tuscan Garden for our ceremony, and it was everything we hoped for—dreamy, romantic, and incredibly picturesque. The garden has a beautiful fountain, reflecting pools, and lush, vibrant greenery that made the whole setting feel like a fairytale.

Our reception was in the Great Hall, which was just as impressive. The space has gorgeous tall windows, fireplaces, and plenty of room for a big dance floor. I also loved the little bench seating areas that created perfect hangout spots for guests throughout the night.

During our initial tour, we were honestly blown away by how many different photo locations there are across the grounds. Every corner feels like a new backdrop, and it made us even more excited for the wedding day.

We knew we were sold once we experienced how supportive and attentive the team was. Roshani, our venue coordinator, was incredible from the moment we booked through the wedding day. She stayed in close communication with us the entire time—answering questions, helping with logistics, and making sure we felt fully prepared. Everything felt organized and stress-free, which is exactly what you want.

My bridal attendant, Liz, was so sweet and attentive the entire night—always by my side making sure I had food and drinks, and even helping me with my train so everything stayed perfect.

The entire staff went above and beyond—from setup to teardown, the kitchen team, the wait staff, and Claudine—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. They even helped us pack everything up to take home, including food for later. At the end of the night, we even got to watch the Knicks win together, which was such a fun way to end the celebration 🙌🏻

We also had our catering through Relish Catering and the food was absolutely exceptional. Truly a highlight of the night—guests are still talking about it.

It was a magical day from start to finish, and we cannot thank everyone enough for making it so seamless, beautiful, and unforgettable.

We held our beautiful June wedding at Snug Harbor! It was truly magical and everyone kept saying how much they enjoyed themselves. The wedding felt not only special, but like us—and this was our priority.

The Tuscan Garden and Great Hall are such unique settings; an NYC wedding that feels like the countryside. Even the candid photos people took show how gorgeous everything was—and we had minimal added decor and quite simple floral design (we did do cafe lighting which was extra, but worth it). This was also an all vegan wedding…and everyone raved about the food. Many guests could not believe a vegan wedding could be so delicious, satisfying and flavorful (we were glad to showcase that plant-based doesn't just mean plain lettuce!).

The team at Celebrate Snug Harbor was awesome; from the waitstaff to our wedding coordinator, to my bridal attendant, and the sales manager everyone was kind, professional, and treated the event like the important day it was. I didn’t feel stressed because the event staff are so organized and communicative. During the wedding, my friends, family, and us as the couple were well taken care of and it was joyous. Snug Harbor may do a lot of weddings, but I never felt like just another one.

I’m so incredibly glad to have held my wedding at Snug, truly. And as a bonus—Snug Harbor is a beautiful place to come back to and visit whenever!

Our daughter’s Sweet 16 at Snug Harbor was absolutely beautiful and more special than we could have imagined. From the stunning atmosphere to the attentive staff and seamless service, everything about the evening was perfect. The venue created such an elegant and welcoming setting that truly made the celebration feel magical.

The staff was professional, kind, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process, helping everything run smoothly so our family could fully enjoy the night. Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the space was and ihow wonderful the event felt from beginning to end.

Celebrate at Snug Harbor was nothing short of incredible, and we couldn't be happier to have had our wedding there. The staff is kind and helpful and really rooting for you the entire wedding planning journey and even provide a book for you to work through the month leading up to the big day. The tall ceilings and large windows of the Upper Great Hall are elegant and created beautiful natural lighting during our ceremony. The Lower Gallery is equally spacious and worked well for our cocktail hour, a big plus as we had over 180 guests. So many of our guests raved about the food, and one reason we booked with Celebrate was their diverse and extensive menu. They also really went above and beyond with guests' dietary restrictions and made our custom cocktail come to life! We loved that booking Celebrate also meant catering, staffing, furniture, and linens would all be arranged through one vendor. They also include a wedding coordinator (shout out to Roshani who is amazing and proactive about working with other vendors), a bridal attendant, and an assistant. While we chose to have our wedding entirely indoors, we took our photos outdoors and were grateful for the access to the Chinese Scholar's Garden. They really delivered on providing a special day.

The Celebrate team was incredibly professional and helpful from start to finish. From the logistics and aesthetics, and the food to staffing, everything was easy and clear throughout the process. An additional challenge was making all food vegan but catering to non-vegan guests, and the culinary staff did an amazing job. Highly recommend Snug Harbor and would definitely host an event there again in the future.

Celebrate at Snug Harbor continues to be one of my favorite venues to work with. Every detail is handled with care, and having Kenzie as the main point of contact makes all the difference. She's the captain of the ship, keeping things running smoothly while creating space for vendors to do their best work. I recently DJ’d the BNI Prefer to Refer holiday party there, and like every event I've done at Snug, it was executed beautifully from start to finish. The communication is seamless, the team is organized and respectful of every role, and the guest experience is always a priority. I look forward to every opportunity to work with Kenzie and the entire Snug Harbor crew.

We can't say enough good things about having our wedding at Celebrate Snug Harbor. From the early planning stages to the day of, the team at CSH was thorough, professional, and responsive. We had a wedding of about 170 people in January, so the entire event was indoors. The Great Hall is so spacious and beautiful, all of our guests felt comfortable the entire evening. We have also heard so many of our guests tell us that the food was some of the best food they've ever had at a wedding, and there was also so much of it! The servers and bartenders were attentive and on top of their game all evening. Truly, our wedding was perfect from start to finish. If you're thinking of having your wedding at Celebrate Snug Harbor, you won't regret it.

We had our wedding at Celebrate at Snug Harbor in October 2025. The staff made planning our event very easy. They provided us with a booklet, including time lines for each aspect of our wedding, which helped us keep our planning organized and on schedule. The venue is charming and was the perfect size to easily accommodate all of our guests. My husband uses a wheelchair and the staff made sure that all areas of the venue were accessible for not only my husband but all guests that needed ADA accommodations.
The venue provided us with many different food options to choose from. Our only problem was that we had a hard time choosing which options we wanted but in the end we were very pleased as were our guests.
On the day of the wedding the staff was very attentive towards us and the bridal party. Due to weather conditions, adjustments needed to be made and the staff was able to facilitate these changes very quickly. I would highly recommend Celebrate at Snug Harbor to anyone looking for a cozy and unique venue for their wedding.
