Sam is immensely talented, has the kindest heart, and made my wedding day an absolute joy — not only for me, but for my entire bridal party! Like many of you reading this review, I spent a lot of time searching through wedding websites and instagram, trying my best to find the "perfect" makeup artist. There's a lot of pressure put on brides to look… basically the best they’ve ever looked in their lives on their wedding day. And this adds another layer to an already high-stakes search; you have to not only find an artist whose style you love, but figure out if it will compliment your particular features. However, there’s another, crucial element of this search that I’d initially overlooked: an emotional connection with your artist. This might sound silly, but in this search I encountered many personalities. While I want to give the benefit of the doubt, many had a fair amount of ego in the game, or weren’t interested in really talking to a potential client unless they were ready to sign the dotted line. For me, a bride who’s admittedly kind of insecure about her looks, and who also wanted to make the “getting ready” experience into a special one for a big group of girls, I came to realize just how much of an impact that trusting your artist — feeling like they listen to your input, care about what you have to say — and frankly that you like them as a person(!) was going to have on my wedding day. And that’s why I’m lucky BEYOND measure to have met Sam, who is the full package in every single way! Not only do her makeup skills speak for themselves (you’ve seen her gorgeous feed!), but she is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. From the moment we first connected, through follow-up texts and logistics emails, to our magical trial session, and all the way up until the big day itself, I have nothing but glowing things to say about her. She is an extremely warm and compassionate person, a consummate professional, and an exceptionally talented makeup artist whose ultimate aim is to make you feel gorgeous. Never for a second did I feel like she was painting a default bridal look on me. Sam not only gathered references for my look, but specifically requested feedback and made changes based on my references — and I mean down to the specific product. I was blown away by her artistry, eye for detail, and care for my experience. Never once did I feel rushed, or like I was "just another bride" to her. And when the time came for her and another artist on her team to make it happen on the day-of, they pulled off 7 gorgeous and unique wedding looks, each meeting very different requests on very different skin tones, and all of us looked radiant. More importantly, we felt confident, beautiful, and happy — and this was augmented so much by Sam’s kind spirit! If you want to feel like a beautiful bride long before you walk down the aisle, then Sam should 100% be your choice for makeup artist! It was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding, hands down. She gave my bridesmaids and me a truly unforgettable experience, and started our entire day off on the right foot, empowering us to feel truly beautiful all day long. I cannot thank her enough for that, nor recommend her services more highly to you -- Thank you, Sam!!!

Samantha and her team are excellent. They are professional, kind and extremely good at what they do. Brittany and Alyssa worked my wedding. I loved my makeup and it literally lasted from around 9am when they applied it to around 12/1am when my wedding ended. Samantha was also very communicative and helpful with tips and recommendations.
