We live in Westchester and drove out to Staten Island to see the grounds—and let me just say, it is absolutely worth the drive.
From the moment you enter the gates at Celebrate at Snug Harbor, you feel like you’ve been transported somewhere completely different. The property is stunning and feels almost unreal in the best way.
We chose the Tuscan Garden for our ceremony, and it was everything we hoped for—dreamy, romantic, and incredibly picturesque. The garden has a beautiful fountain, reflecting pools, and lush, vibrant greenery that made the whole setting feel like a fairytale.
Our reception was in the Great Hall, which was just as impressive. The space has gorgeous tall windows, fireplaces, and plenty of room for a big dance floor. I also loved the little bench seating areas that created perfect hangout spots for guests throughout the night.
During our initial tour, we were honestly blown away by how many different photo locations there are across the grounds. Every corner feels like a new backdrop, and it made us even more excited for the wedding day.
We knew we were sold once we experienced how supportive and attentive the team was. Roshani, our venue coordinator, was incredible from the moment we booked through the wedding day. She stayed in close communication with us the entire time—answering questions, helping with logistics, and making sure we felt fully prepared. Everything felt organized and stress-free, which is exactly what you want.
My bridal attendant, Liz, was so sweet and attentive the entire night—always by my side making sure I had food and drinks, and even helping me with my train so everything stayed perfect.
The entire staff went above and beyond—from setup to teardown, the kitchen team, the wait staff, and Claudine—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. They even helped us pack everything up to take home, including food for later. At the end of the night, we even got to watch the Knicks win together, which was such a fun way to end the celebration 🙌🏻
We also had our catering through Relish Catering and the food was absolutely exceptional. Truly a highlight of the night—guests are still talking about it.

Snug harbor was excellent. They were very communicative and knowledgeable and always put our vision first. When we wanted to have a specific table arrangements they made it work for us, even though it was new to them. They considered all the possibilities and were able to do a traditional Indian Fire ceremony indoors, which can be difficult to find.
Our day of attendants were wonderful and a total blast, keeping our cups and bellies full, we actually ate at our wedding! Carmella/Roshani had all the plans and was so on top of coordinating with other vendors. Roshani did an amazing job as well as the day of coordinator. She made sure all the South Asian traditions went off without a hitch and when we were delayed 45 minutes she rearranged our reception on the fly and we never had to worry.

Celebrate at Snug Harbor continues to be one of my favorite venues to work with. Every detail is handled with care, and having Kenzie as the main point of contact makes all the difference. She's the captain of the ship, keeping things running smoothly while creating space for vendors to do their best work. I recently DJ’d the BNI Prefer to Refer holiday party there, and like every event I've done at Snug, it was executed beautifully from start to finish. The communication is seamless, the team is organized and respectful of every role, and the guest experience is always a priority. I look forward to every opportunity to work with Kenzie and the entire Snug Harbor crew. -

We can't say enough good things about having our wedding at Celebrate Snug Harbor. From the early planning stages to the day of, the team at CSH was thorough, professional, and responsive. We had a wedding of about 170 people in January, so the entire event was indoors. The Great Hall is so spacious and beautiful, all of our guests felt comfortable the entire evening. We have also heard so many of our guests tell us that the food was some of the best food they've ever had at a wedding, and there was also so much of it! The servers and bartenders were attentive and on top of their game all evening. Truly, our wedding was perfect from start to finish. Celebrate at Snug Harbor was everything we could have hoped for and more. We hosted our engagement party in the Upper Great Hall, and it was absolutely magical from start to finish. The space itself is breathtaking — historic, elegant, and full of charm, with high ceilings and tall windows that give it the most romantic glow.
What really stood out to me was the team behind it all. The Celebrate staff went above and beyond — they were so attentive, kind, and organized, and made the entire planning process completely seamless. They set up all of our décor perfectly, helped us choose beautiful linens, customized the menu to match our Italian Amore theme, and even created a signature Amore Spritz cocktail that everyone loved! The food was incredible, the service was amazing, and every little detail felt so personal and well thought out.
The best part was that I didn’t have to stress about a single thing. Their team handled every detail — even cleaning up and packing everything at the end of the night — so we could simply enjoy being in the moment with our family and friends.
It was such a beautiful, joy-filled night that we’ll never forget, and we truly owe that to the incredible staff and stunning atmosphere at Celebrate Snug Harbor. I had my wedding on 9/26/25 and the venue looked so beautiful! Even better than when I toured it back in November. Carmela and Mona were so helpful and accommodating during the planning process. There were so many last minute changes and hiccups like transportation vendors falling through, but Carmela was able to help me book last minute transportation that was even bigger than I was expecting! Everything went so much better than I imagined and all the guests were so impressed with the venue and food! Evette (I hope I’m spelling her name right) was my bridal attendant the day of. She was fantastic, made sure I was no longer on my phone, helped with transportation throughout the venue and kept me calm during the ceremony. As a staten Island native, I grew up just blocks from snug Harbor. When my Husband and I decided to get married,I knew it had to be here. The location speaks for itself as a histoical and botanical garden. Meaning everywhere you walk is a phoographers dream. There is many different location to choose on site for your ceremony,cocktail hour and reception. That means no flipping rooms for ceremony to reception. The staff was absolutely amazing day of and up to. You get more included then other venues we saw for example suites,linens,attendants and a cake with no hidden fees.The food was absolutely excellent , we recieved so many compliments on the food quality. I also got to heal my inner child while celebrating this milestone in aa place I grew up. for reference we had the ceremony in the white garden, cocktail hour and tea ceremony in the scholar garden and our reception in the tented pavillion.Celebrate at Snug Harbor's reply:

We had our dream wedding at the stunning Chinese Scholar’s Garden at Celebrate at Snug Harbor, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Carmela, the venue coordinator, was absolutely incredible—responsive, considerate, and exceptionally helpful. Planning our wedding on short notice from the garden’s opening in March to our big day in late May could have been overwhelming, but Carmela rapidly facilitated the entire process, sorting out every obstacle promptly and thoughtfully.
Whenever we faced an issue or had questions, Carmela was quick to respond and genuinely understood our needs, putting herself in our shoes to find the best solutions. She went above and beyond, paying attention to even minor details that we overlooked, ensuring everything was done correctly and smoothly. Her dedication made us feel cared for and supported throughout the entire planning process.
The Chinese Scholar’s Garden itself is breathtakingly beautiful, offering a naturally elegant setting that required minimal decoration. Thanks to Carmela’s incredible assistance and the garden’s inherent charm, our wedding day was unforgettable.

Hidden Gem in Staten Island
Snug Harbor, a hidden gem in New York located on Staten Island, was the perfect setting for our wedding this May. The venue itself is expansive and offers several beautiful options for hosting events. We chose the Great Hall and the Tuscan Garden for our celebration.
One of the standout features was the food, catered by Celebrate. Having attended multiple weddings ourselves, we know how rare it is to find a venue that can accommodate a large guest list and still deliver exceptional cuisine. Celebrate exceeded all our expectations!
The team at Celebrate was fantastic—professional, respectful, and incredibly accommodating to our requests. We made multiple site visits with our month-of planner and our families, and each time, the staff made sure we were comfortable and familiar with the venue. Special thanks to Mona and Josephine, who, along with the rest of the team, were instrumental in making our day unforgettable.
We’re beyond grateful for everything they did for us and would highly recommend Snug Harbor to anyone searching for a remarkable wedding venue! 🙂

My husband and I were in search of a venue that had the following:
-didn’t require a headcount over 100
-under $225 per person
-cocktail hour and open bar
-on Staten Island
-an indoor/outdoor feel
-allowed to bring our own vendors
-not a fancy fancy big hall
The tented pavilion fit our needs perfectly! We were able to do a Sunday wedding on a holiday weekend with 75 people. The space was and indoor outdoor feel, with the availability to bring our own vendors and customize the event as much as possible.
PROS:
Super affordable - We were do our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all inside the tent for 75 people and the total cost was around $15,000.
UNBELIEVABLE food & drinks - we were able to customize our menu options and the food was out of this world. Super plentiful, and we incredible presentation! Our guests couldnt stop raving about it.
AMAZING staff- Jessica and Josephine are incredible coordinators who guided me through every single step in the process. So responsive and helpful. The wait staff was spot on with super fast and attentive service. Our guests were soo happy!!
Lots of perks are included - wedding cake from Palermos bakery (best cake we ever had!! Our guests loved it!), signature drink, valet parking, free vendor meals if using their reccomendations, getting ready suites, day of coordinator, bridal attendant, company is willing to help with simple signage, menus etc.
CONS-
The venue need some updates - even after verifying prior, the concrete floor of the tent was not power washed. My wedding dress was black with dirt by the time I walked down the aisle to the alter. The floor was so dirty, I had to throw out my white wedding shoes after (they were also black with dirt) Also, the benches were not cleaned prior, which was disappointing.
No valet - Valet is supposedly included, however they were no where to be found the day of my wedding. My guest knew where to park, but there was no valet or personnel to guide them where to go. There were no signage as promised to tell people where our event was, everyone got lost.
Leaking bathroom- the bathrooms are like campsite bathrooms, very dated but we were okay with them. The weekend of our wedding poured and the room by the bathroom was completely FLOODED, water leaking from the ceiling and flooding the floors. It was unusable, and looked terrible considering it was part of the venue space, and we couldn’t put any decor in there. It was a blank empty wet room the entire night.
Staff attire- Although the staff was incredible, their attire lacked professionalism. Key staff persons that were consistently in my photos or on the floor infront of our guests were in sneakers, one in a bright yellow sweatsuit, wearing a tshirt. This wasn’t a dealbreaker to me, but something that may discourage other brides on their formal wedding day.
Set up - I was a DIY bride but keep in mind that this venue does not help set up any decor. You will need to have vendors come and set up, and if anything is brought beforehand you need to trek your items to the tent.
Our wedding was the BEST DAY EVER!!!! Regardless of the rainy weather and the cons mentioned above, we simply had the most perfect day ever! Thank you to Celebrate staff for making it so special.

Beautiful garden venue with lots of history, great value for NYC
We loved our experience getting married at Snug Harbor. The team is so accommodating, the food was fantastic, and the venue is beautiful. It's great value for an NYC wedding. In a venue like Celebrate at Snug Harbor, which boasts multiple gardens, effective internal teamwork, and communication are essential for every event.
Celebrate at Snug Harbor has a unique and enchanting natural countryside feel. It stands out from other venues, and you can easily tell why many couples love this place. The entire venue offers numerous picturesque spots, which is a significant plus for both guests and newlyweds.
Over the past year, we have worked on wedding ceremonies in the White Garden and the Tuscan Garden. The White Garden features a vast and stunning lawn, while the Tuscan Garden has a touch of classical architectural design. The fountain in the Tuscan Garden leaves a lasting impression on guests.
Let's talk about the Chinese Scholar Garden, which is the only Chinese-themed garden in New York. It is perfect for couples who appreciate Chinese culture. Cocktail hours are usually held there, and the designated vendor, Relish Catering, provides food and services.
The Tented Pavilion serves as the primary reception venue. The food and tableware are all provided by Relish Catering. They pay great attention to detail when it comes to table settings and culinary presentations.
In conclusion, we highly recommend Celebrate at Snug Harbor. The attentive and dedicated staff, along with the stunning and uniquely styled venue, are truly impeccable. We had visited and spoken with several other venues prior to Snug Harbor, but from the moment we toured the grounds and met with the Celebrate team, we knew we had found our venue.
Our very first phone call and subsequent tour with Josephine were easygoing yet professional, and she took the time to get to know us and answer all of our many questions. We never felt pressured or rushed, and it was a breath of fresh air when compared to some of the more sterile or generic conversations we experienced. This would be true for all of our correspondence with the Celebrate team, and we always felt like we were in good hands. On the day of our wedding, they were there to hype us up, calm our nerves, and remind us to eat, reassuring us that there was nothing to worry about.
Our guests also raved about the food. Food was an extremely important factor for us when choosing our venue, and Relish Catering exceeded our expectations. The quality of food was incredible, and there was such a great variety of options to choose from when deciding our menu.
Finally, regarding the space itself — it is simply beautiful. The grounds at Snug Harbor are unique and truly special. As a Chinese American couple, we were especially drawn to the Chinese Scholar Garden, and Snug Harbor was the perfect venue for us to honor both our cultures. We had an outdoor wedding, starting with our ceremony in the breathtaking Tuscan Garden, followed by cocktail hour at the Chinese Scholar Garden. Our reception took place in the Tented Pavilion, and there was ample space for our 145 guests to dance, socialize, or play lawn games. Although we were very fortunate to have great weather on the day of our wedding (June 10, 2023), it was also important for us to have a fallback option available for inclement weather, and we were relieved that we would be allowed to utilize their indoor spaces - also very beautiful - if needed.

Celebrate Snug Harbor was an absolutely beautiful venue to have my wedding. My wife and I selected the package where our ceremony was hosted outside in the garden followed by a cocktail hour in a chinese scholars garden which was both unique and beautiful. We were concerned about having an outdoor wedding in the beginning of october but the entire time the staff and planners assured us about all the preparation that went into making sure we had a seamless wedding. I cannot recommend the staff enough for how attentive they were the day of and assisting my wife and I with making sure things were going according to plan and making sure we were fed because its so easy to forget to eat on your wedding day! Snug Harbor is the shining gem of Staten Island and absolutely worth getting married at. -

We were first drawn to the Chinese Scholar Garden - which served as the most gorgeous backdrop for our tea ceremony and cocktail hour - but we ended up choosing Celebrate Snug for the range of beautiful outdoor locations for photos and our ceremony/reception. Plus, the price point was right for us. We held our wedding ceremony in the White Garden and reception in the Tented Pavilion, and everything flowed well on our big day. Catering worked with us over two separate tastings to ensure we arrived at a menu that we really liked. A big shout out to Erin O'Keefe who is the best person to work with - we can't imagine having gone through the wedding planning process without her! We had our dream wedding last week and it was better than we could have ever imagined! We began planning our dream wedding in June 2019 by meeting with Erin for a tour and we left that same day booking our wedding. Despite delays and new restrictions due to COVID, Erin was with us every step of the way. Our countless questions were answered and always in a timely and reassuring manner.
We attended a beautiful menu tasting to help us decide on our cocktail hour and reception options. We also had a very specific request of cutting a pizza instead of a wedding cake and Celebrate made this dream a reality. They made a pizza inspired by our favorites and not only was it delicious, but our guests absolutely loved the idea. The food for our cocktail hour and reception was full of variety, unique, and delicious. We loved the fact that they didn't offer your typical "catering hall" options. The drinks (especially our signature drinks) were excellent. They were also very accomodating in terms of the food allergies and dietary restrictions of our guests.
As the date approached, we met with Erin and Jessica to plan the day of details. We were provided with helpful guides and easy-to-fill-out forms to cover every aspect of our wedding.
The day of, we had Erin, Jessica, and Shelby (our bridal attendant), assisting not only me and my husband, but all of our bridal party, family, friends, and guests. The staff was so accomodating, kind, and helpful to everyone they interacted with.
We had such a positive experience from start to finish and I cannot recommend them enough! Perfect day at the most beautiful venue
I chose Snug Harbor as our wedding venue before ever visiting, just based on the beautiful pictures and wonderful reviews I saw online. I was not dissapointed: the gardens are breathtakingly stunning and the Snug Harbor team ( particularly John and Erin) were so helpful. Our wedding was Orthodox Jewish and Kosher, and Snug Harbor already had a relationship with a kosher cateror, which made everything so much simpler. Celebrate at Snug Harbor- where you dream wedding comes true!
Celebrate at Snug Harbor was not even a choice on my list for our venue. It had come up and we decided to go and look. Boy, did it exceed our expectations.
Staten Island is not known for a lot of positive things however, this venue is the secret gem, if not, the main reason why Staten Island is on the map to begin with.
From Erin O' Keefe, one of the wedding coordinators, as well as her entire team (from her counterparts, the bartenders, the waiters, the attendances, maire d's and especially Emily), my now husband and I felt like we were royalty.
I am a planner myself-so if there are any brides that are just as particular as I am, I am letting you know that Erin and her team are the DREAM team to make all your endeavors come true. For example, I wrote a 4 page (no spaces) in depth logistic summary that included the venue personnel, the photographer, videographer, DJ and florist. Celebrate and Snug dissected every line and every sentence to ensure that EVERY detail was met.
During the engagement period to the actual wedding day, my father had passed away from COVID. I lost all ambition to plan a wedding and to celebrate this important day. When we had spoken to the venue in regards to possibly cancelling the big day, Erin and her team showed so much compassion to our family. Regardless that they are a business that strives on events, they were the most compassionate people during the time of me going through the emotions of death of my father. Without being obnoxious, they would call from time to time just to check in- no wedding talk but just to check in to see if I was alright. Some people may find that annoying but during the time of isolation and also working in the medical field, i thoroughly relished in their support.
Now, the wedding day itself- all the weekends in May 2021 were beautiful and sunny...except for the weekend that we got married. It rained tremendously. However, this venue made me feel like the rain did not even exist. They were already pre-planning plan B in order to make sure to stay consistent with time and they found locations on the grounds to make sure I had amazing photos. My team- Erin and Emily and John stood in the rain- soaking wet to make sure that my husband and I looked like nothing phased us. With them by our sides, nothing actually did.
The food from Relish Catering is amazing. We love the food! Our signature cocktails and open bar were greatly used during the wedding. The bartenders were fun and witty and our guests had a blast enjoying their drinks.
The Great Hall, or as we call it the 9 3/4 room (harry potter reference), is as tall as a sky scraper but feels as intimate as a cottage. With the fire places lit and the candles aglow, our guests and us felt like Snug Harbor embraced us that night.
Our ceremony was held downstairs. We were supposed to have it in the Tuscan Garden but with the rain, we relocated. I did not have much to say in regards to the ceremony because the team pulled it off. They understood the vision, the feel, the vibe that we were trying to emulate.
If you are looking for a great wedding on beautiful grounds, then choose Celebrate at Snug Harbor, where the gardens and the flowers show endless beauty.
If you are looking for a perfect wedding that can overcome any situation, including downpour of rain and 40 degree weather in the month of May, then choose Celebrate at Snug Harbor. You will not regret anything.

Our original wedding plans at a different venue were cancelled due to COVID. Scrambling to find a new venue, we found out about Snug Harbor's micro-wedding plans from a friend. From the moment we set foot on the grounds we knew that would be our new wedding venue. Selecting the exact spot was difficult because every site was stunning. I was impressed with how serious they took precautions, which made us feel safe and comfortable. The food was delicious! By the end of the event none of our guests could eat the donuts we gave as favors! John and Erin went, and I can't stress this enough, above and beyond to make our wedding as perfect as possible. We had rain all day during our event and they worked incredibly hard to move sites and make it absolutely gorgeous. I am being sincere when I say without John and Erin, our wedding would have been catastrophic. John was tremendous in designing the center pieces and welcome areas, and setting up our first look. Erin wasn't even our event planner and she still stayed the whole time to help us. I could continue to write positive notes all day but I'm running out of space. Let me end it here by thanking the entire Celebrate at Snug Harbor team. Everyone from John and Erin, to the waitstaff, our bridal attendant, and all the individuals behind the scenes. We had our wedding at Snug Harbor in October in the outdoor pavilion and Chinese Scholar Garden and oh my goodness we COULD NOT have expected a better execution of everything we ever would have wanted. The grounds were gorgeous, the food DELICIOUS and the staff were 10 out of 10. Erin and her team took all of our ideas and visions and brought them to life. We wanted something very nontraditional and they nailed it! Instead of a sit down dinner we wanted a 6 hour long cocktail hour and they blew us away. Their attention to detail, patience and professionalism helped make our night magical and extraordinary, and the planning and communication was seamless. Our guests were floored with the attentiveness and availability of the team, they said our wedding was the one to beat. We'll be recommending them to everyone for everything! When my daughter & son in law’s original reception had to be postponed, we were looking for an outdoor space for a mini wedding ceremony. It was truly divine intervention that we found Celebrate Snug Harbor, but my husband and I are eternally grateful that we did. Our wedding was booked at a venue in Brooklyn, and as it got to nearly a month before our date, indoor dining/gathering restrictions were still in place, and we had to come to terms with deciding on whether to postpone our event or find a different venue. My mom got the recommendation of Snug Harbor from a relative, so she called and spoke with John, relayed our sob story, and the rest is history. John and Erin (Celebrate Snug Harbor) are extremely personable and they worked their butts off to help make our wedding an event that all who attended will always remember. They coordinated with our florist, DJ, and photo/video vendors from the former venue, they kept things running on schedule as best as possible, they even golf-carted multiple family and friends around the grounds to get from the ceremony to the reception. Aside from the truly wonderful people that work for CSH (awesome service staff!), the grounds are idyllic and offer a safe, outdoor alternative for a wedding event (our ceremony was in the Tuscan Garden and reception in the tented pavilion). Everything turned out beautifully, we had a blast, and there aren't enough positive things to say about our experience with Celebrate Snug Harbor. This may not have been our original wedding day plan and venue, but we truly feel that this was the wedding we were always meant to have!Celebrate at Snug Harbor's reply:

Erin from snug harbor is my hero. My fiancé and I had to postpone our wedding and then ultimately cancel it due to the pandemic. We have been engaged a long time and didn’t want to wait any longer so we decided to elope on our original wedding date. My original venue which was also an outdoor ceremony completely refused to let us use their grounds so I scrambled to find anywhere to make it happen. This ended up being the greatest blessing in disguise because it lead us to snug harbor. I was willing to compromise on so much but i really wanted an outdoor ceremony and Erin made just that happen and so much more. We got married in the Tuscan garden and it was gorgeous like out of a fairytale! It was even better than my original venue. Erin and Justin literally made the impossible possible. Even with a pandemic and the threat of a rainstorm looming overhead that day they made my dream come true. It was everything i wished for and more. Erin stayed with us the entire time we took photos assisting in every way. She was so pleasant, so prepared and forged through any obstacle to make me the happiest bride. Snug harbor is beautiful. The people that work there are wholly dedicated to ensuring their clients happiness. I’m so grateful it worked out the way it did. I can’t express enough how perfect our wedding day was from start to finish at Celebrate at Snug Harbor! We had our ceremony in the white garden, cocktail hour in the Chinese Scholars Garden and reception in the gorgeous, Pinterest-esque Tented Pavilion. All of my guests commented on how beautiful the entire grounds are and most said something to the effect of, “I didn’t even know this existed!” Which is exactly what I was going for. If you are looking for a unique venue with incredible catering and a team that will support you from the start of your wedding planning process, to finish, Celebrate is your place.
Erin & Theresa could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable, honest, professional, accommodating and most of all FUN in guiding us in our wedding planning at Celebrate. Every question and email was answered so quickly and because of how much we communicated over the course of months leading up to the wedding, it really made the actual day of so stress free and easy.
The staff at Celebrate worked so well with all of our vendors and guests. The bartending staff easily accommodated our very lively crowd with ease and it was so nice to hear our guests tell us that it was one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to!
We feel exactly the same way and both with we could do our wedding day all over again at Celebrate at Snug Harbor! -

Absolutely wonderful experience working with the Celebrate at Snug Harbor team, specifically John Ianniello Jr. and Theresa Tortorella. We had been searching for the right venue for over a year and a half before we fell in love with this one. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the food was AMAZING (and you can’t say that about many wedding venues - plus so many guests complimented the food, not one complaint), the way they set up everything was beautiful, they are organized and responsive and clearly answered all my questions in the planning process, the staff are really pleasant, my bridal attendant Shelby was absolutely a godsend and was really by my side helping me through every step of the process and she was super pleasant, professional, and helpful...I just can’t say enough good things about them between the planning process and how it all came together into an absolutely beautiful event. So many guests told us this was the best wedding they’d ever been to. Wedding ceremony and reception
I don't even know where to begin, I got married at snug harbor on June 2nd, 2019 and to sum up all my emotions into one word, it was breathtaking. I booked this venue a few days after I took the tour, the groups had massive potential to be turned into the "greenery" wedding that I dreamed about. From an beautiful Chinese schoolar garden to the spectacular tuscan garden and a simple yet sophisticated tented pavilion, I knew my wedding had to be there. A few months before the wedding as any bride would feel I was all over the place, obviously beginning to doubt my venue, photographer and even wedding dress. I never felt so safe, taken care of and relaxed than when John Lanniello (wedding coordinator) grabbed my hand and said "enjoy your day, I got it from here". I get very emotional about it because my mind was a mess leading up to my wedding day and him and his dedicated team made it happen so effortless and impeccable. 10/10 could not be more pleased
I hosted a bridal shower in the tented pavilion May 2019.
I will start by saying I am extremely picky and my expectations were the same as from my very own wedding (for reference I am comparing to an iconic Manhattan venue.)
John and his team surpassed that experience Not one detail was over looked and they were so incredibly involved, invested and truly cared about every aspect as if it were their own personal event. For example, John created a signature drink table for us and it was spectacular, apparent to all the effort put in on the “extras”
Service - waitstaff was amazing !! No one had an empty drink or was ever in need of anything, someone was always there. The attention to detail was exceptional and they helped keep the party flowing nicely which is important.
Food- this is not standard “venue” food. The chef and John work to come up with creative options. This is something you do not experience at most venues.
Ambiance - dreamy. The tent was new and magnificent , the chandelier and draping added elevated detail, it’s truly like another world.
The bride was so pleased she is looking here for her wedding too.

Kevin Sent on 06/24/2018My husband and I held our wedding at Snug Harbor this past May (5/19/18) and we cannot say enough wonderful things about that day - it was truly the wedding of our dreams!
Full transparency - when we signed our original contract with Snug Harbor, it was a part of the Landmark Venues group. In the months leading up to our wedding, Relish Caterers took over the venue full time, so we were introduced to Ian, Theresa, Marissa and the rest of the team at Relish to execute our wedding day. While there were a few small bumps in the road as that team got settled in (as you would naturally expect), the Relish team was quick to get to know my husband and I to ensure that our big day was exactly as we envisioned it. And they did not disappoint.
The Relish team is exemplary - they're warm, friendly, and attentive to even the smallest details. They truly came to feel like family in the weeks leading up to our wedding.
Venue - stunning! Beautifully landscaped with amazing architecture all around.
Ceremony - we were lucky enough to be able to get married in the Music Hall at Snug Harbor, which a couple of theater buffs was a dream come true. It was amazing.
Reception - we held our reception in the Great Hall, which was hands down the coolest reception space we saw (and we looked at 10 venues before we settled on Snug Harbor). The 40 foot ceilings are just breathtaking.
Food - unbelievably delicious. Literally everything tasted SO GOOD.
Overall - truly 5 stars. Ian and his team are the best, and they really nailed our vision. It was a day to remember. -

Kristina Sent on 06/06/2018My aunt recently hosted my Bridal Shower at Snug harbor in the Great Hall and I could have not been more happy. It was a dream come true! The venue upstairs is amazing with high ceilings and so much lighting! It was perfect for the garden theme of my shower! The staff was so accommodating to all our ideas and special requests. They truly made you feel like family, always looking to give ideas on how to make the event even better. The food was great and prepared perfectly, so many options for brunch it made picking menu difficult because so many great choices ! But everything at my shower worked out great! It was absolutely stunning and would defiantly look to have another event at snug harbor in the future

Diana Sent on 10/24/2017My husband and I recently had our wedding at Snug Harbor and we absolutely loved the venue and overall service. Snug Harbor to me is a hidden gem of Staten Island. I love the peaceful feel I get from when I enter the premises. Between the beautiful gardens, spacious areas for celebrations and the price, I think Snug Harbor is the perfect place for anyone to hold a celebration. The staff was helpful and friendly, taking care of our needs every step of the way. I would like to give a special thanks though to Snug Harbor 's Senior Event Designer, Terra Hudson for helping us from beginning to end. She was exceptional and thanks to her, we had the wedding of our dreams.

The Ceremony was in the Tuscan Garden, and it was absolutely beautiful with the roses in bloom. The reception was in the Great Hall, which was also breathtaking. We booked the place with Jeanmarie. She was extremely helpful, but she left the company 6 months before the wedding. Anastasia followed up with us, and Diane became our primary point of contact. Diane was extremely helpful and quick to answer emails and phone calls. She was so helpful during our finals meeting and picking out our menu. Our bridal attendant was Sam, and our Maitre’d was David. They were both excellent. David came to our rehearsal to speak to our wedding planner about any last minute details that he might have missed. We have a lot of bridesmaids, so we had our hair and make-up done at the hotel. Even so, we arrived to drop our things off in the Snug Harbor bridal suite, and Sam already had champagne bottles on ice with snacks waiting for us. She had beer ready for the groomsmen while they waited for photos to start. When we got back from our photo shoot during cocktail hour, Sam had a selection of our cocktail hour waiting for us on a plate in our bridal suite. She also checked on us throughout the whole night. She carefully packaged all of our belongings and leftovers with sweet notes ready to be brought to the car. Sam and David made the whole day so easy and relaxing. There is a service elevator, but the walk to the elevator is a bit long. Our grandparents opted to just take the stairs to dinner. It got hot in the Great Hall. The park is in charge of the AC, so the staff had to call the park security to lower the temperature. No Biggie. Our guests loved the venue. Everyone raved about the food at cocktail hour and dinner. I feel like I am rambling on, but there’s just too many positives about Celebrate at Snug Harbor. It’s a unique venue that takes your away from the hustle and bustle of NYC.
